Day 15: It's Time To Rejoice

IT’S TIME TO REJOICE!

On this final day in this series, let’s pause to thank God for the depths of understanding that He has brought to our trials. Thank You Lord! I want to leave you with this final scripture:

2 Corinthians 12:7-9

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Consider the journey of the apostle Paul, who faced countless trials- shipwreck, stonings, whippings, and being hunted for his life. Paul learned that in those moments of weakness, God's power rested upon him. He understood that trials were not to be met with complaint, but welcomed, for in them, the power of God manifests profoundly.

Though we have read of the many lives that Paul has impacted by this power, I suspect we haven’t heard it all. Don’t you want this testimony too? Well, when faced with your trials, don't resist or complain. Embrace them wholeheartedly, declaring, "God, you are preparing me for your power to rest upon me." This agreement with God will uncover the strength to endure and the joy of the Holy Ghost. So go ahead, put on your favorite praise and worship song and make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
