Do You Value Your Trials?

190 words, about 1 min read

Have you ever found yourself declaring that you'd never do something, only to discover later that you did just that? Verbalizing desires is easy, but translating them into actions is a different challenge altogether. Our emotions, however, serve as an honest gauge of our true feelings. Despite attempts to deceive ourselves, our emotions act as an alert system, revealing our genuine sentiments.

So, here's a thought-provoking question: "Do you genuinely value your trials?"

The true value you place on your trials isn't demonstrated through words but through righteous responses. Assess your emotions and reactions to the challenges you face. How do you feel about those who offend you or the situations that seem unchanging? Rebellion, tantrums, offensive and defensive behavior may indicate a lack of genuine commitment to glorifying God. Conversely, if you truly value it, you'll submit to Him with humility.

Confront yourself with honesty. Acknowledge the truth about your current state. If you find yourself in a challenging place, let this moment be your turning point. Direct your affections toward that glorious day when Christ returns to honor and glorify those who remain faithful. You can do it!
