Suffering With Christ

1 Peter 4:12 (KJV):

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:"

Beloved, don't be surprised by the fiery trial that tests you; it's not an unusual occurrence. Challenges, opposition, difficulties – these are common experiences for the sons of God. Why? Simply put, it is because of Jesus' presence within you. When Jesus walked the earth, He faced tests in every area where man could stumble, yet He emerged sinless (Hebrews 4:15). Now that He is residing in you, His testing continues. Just as He overcame back then, He is prepared to overcome again, but this time through you.

This knowledge is empowering. The difficulties you encounter stem from Christ's choice to endure suffering through us, the Church. His suffering on the cross brought immense glory to God, and His ongoing suffering within us continues to add to that glory. To glorify the Father in your trials, walk righteously, maintaining a pure heart toward God and every person. If you've resolved to live righteously, you not only glorify God but also partake in fellowship with Christ in His sufferings.
