ABASE: Greek word Tapeinoo means to be brought low; to cast down; to humble.
ABOUND: Exceedingly great; rich; having abundance
ACCESS: To have the right to approach God with freedom and confidence. (Romans 5:2; Ephesians 3:12)
ADOPTION: To choose and bring into a certain relationship, as into ones own family; we have become God-like by having taken on the divine nature of God. (2 Peter 1:1-3); kinsmanship (Ruth 3)
ADULTERY: Sexual intercourse between a married person and another which is not the spouse.
AFFECT: To have an emotional effect on; to influence emotionally; to be affected; to gender an emotional response to instituted stimuli. This is a temporary change that is subject to environmental situations, circumstances and relationships.
AFFECTION: Natural cravings of the flesh to give and receive love, kindness, touch and consideration (Romans 1:31, 2 Timothy 3:3).
AFFLICTION: A painful experience. (2 Timothy 1:8, Hebrews 10:32). The Lord is always in control of the believer's life; therefore, afflictions are often allowed at the hands of those inspired by Satan for the purpose of chastening the believer. In such cases, this is usually the result of a lack of submission inside of trials or tribulation that were designed to mature the individual. However, afflictions are also used to try the hearts of God's people. This operation reveals whether the servants of God would be offended by the abuse arising from being zealous in ministry. (II Thessalonians)
AGENCY: The office through which your work or service in the kingdom is channeled: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, Administration, Exhortation or Helps. (1 Corinthians 12:5-11).
AGENDA (HIDDEN): Your own private dreams, aspirations and personal vision. Two visions=division. (1 Chronicles 12:1-2, 16-18; Acts 1:16-17).
AIR: Wind, spirit or the breath of life. A natural product which brings a body alive; atmosphere (Ephesians 2:2); an invisible mixture of gases that surrounds the earth; the wind (Ezekiel 37:3-10).
ANOINTED CHERUB: Prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2); the god of this world. (2 Corinthians 4:4).
ANOINTING: The fire of God that burns up the desires and impurities of the fleshy mind. Destroys the captivity in a life. (Isaiah 10:27). The ability of God given to one to carry out the ministry the Lord sets before him.
APOSTLE: One sent by God. One who moves by the Spirit of God to proclaim the will of God, whether with references to past, present or future. (Ephesians 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:11).
APPETITE: A desire or craving; physical desires; a strong wish or urge; desire for food or drink (Proverbs 6:26, 18:20; Ecclesiates 6:7, Isaiah 29:8).APPLICATION OF SCRIPTURE To apply the Word to your own life (circumstances, situations and relationships) and the lives of others. (2 Corinthians 3:1-3).
ATONEMENT: The reconciliation between God and man; to cover over (Leviticus 4:13-21; Romans 5:11).
AUTHOR: A person who brings a thing into existence.
BEHIND THE VEIL MINISTRY: The ministry of the high priest (son) who has been taken from among men to offer his soul as a propitiation (sin offering) for men, having access to the throne of God, to obtain mercy and grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 5:1).
BELIEF: To accept and obey known and witnessed truth and to have confidence in the Word of God.
BIBLE: 1. The inspired Word of God. 2. A completed revelation of God's dealings with man. 3. Revelation from God. 4. A heavenly book written in human language that reveals God's plan, purpose and God Himself to man. It is progressive in doctrine, revelation and knowledge. The Old Testament is our school master. The actuality of the Old Testament depicts the spirituality of the New Testament. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
BLACK ARTS: The practice of magic and witchcraft
BLASPHEMER: 1. One who shows disrespect to Gods instituted authority. 2. One who speaks profanely against the work of the Holy Ghost.
BLASPHEMY: 1. Words, actions, deeds that show disrespect to God's instituted authority. 2. To speak profanely against the work of the Holy Ghost. Operation: When we enter into the realm of rebellion and blasphemy, we enter into realms of death (separation from God). (Acts 26:9-13).
BLOOD: The carrier of life. (oxygen, spirit or the breath of life).
BOND OF INIQUITY: 1. Two or more united in evil by a soulical tie or agreement. 2. Married on an issue.
BRAIN: 1. The control center for the body. 2. The brain is the fleshy mind which produces intangible products: thoughts, feelings, expressions, exhalations, etc. The brain is not spirit, only its products. Air is spirit. The scripture calls the brain, mind. (Colossians 2:18).
BREADTH: The blueprint that reveals dispensational truths (God's dealings with man, His method and His time frame). This is basically a study of Bible Prophecy in the Old and New Testament. To understand all that takes place from one end of the globe to another. The blueprint of God is Bible Prophecy. 1/3 of the Bible - Prophecy, 1/3 of the Bible - Salvation, 1/3 of the Bible - History of Israel; scope, extent (Ephesians 3:18, Revelation 21:16)
BREATH: Air inhaled and exhaled in breathing (Genesis 2:7).
BREATH OF LIFE, THE: Oxygen, O2, air, wind, (air in motion), that contains truth and instruction from God. (Genesis 2:7, Job 33:4, Habakkuk 2:19, Ezekiel 37:9, Isaiah 11:4).
CAPTIVITY OF THE THOUGHTS: For the son of God: forcibly restraining negative thinking by obedience (2 Corinthians 10:5).
CAREFUL: Worry or anxiety (Philippians 2:5-6).
CASTING DOWN: Destroying; tearing down from a high place; refusing to comply; letting go (2 Corinthians 10:5).
CELL: The basic and usually smallest unit of any organism that is capable of independent function.
CHARACTER: The disposition of the mind reflected in the actions of the flesh. Distinctive qualities of a person or thing; certificate of qualification.
CIRCUMSTANCES: Those areas of our lives we have some control over (example: marriages, jobs, health, education, finances, etc).
COMFORTER, THE: The Holy Ghost; the Spirit of Truth.
COMPREHENDING THE LENGTH: 1. The spiritual distance we will travel in our spiritual growth from one point to another. 2. The ability of our mind to comprehend God and the things that pertain to Him as well as our movements in Him. 3. Comprehending the length means that we are at one spiritual location, which we call point A, and must get to point B, which is called perfection, and the length or distance between is what we need to comprehend or understand.
CONCEPTS: An idea of a class of objects; a thought, general notion; the formulation of ideas; a mental image; an original idea or design
CONDEMNATION: To pronounce judgment. To know by experience or to pronounce judgment because of an erroneous interpretation of righteousness.
CONSCIENCE: 1. The spirit of the mind. 2. Co-perception of both worlds (good and evil, flesh and spirit). 3. Is the judge of all the actions and deeds of the flesh. (Ephesians 4:22-23, Hebrews 9:9-14). 4. The hidden man of the heart. 5. The knower.
CONSCIOUSNESS: We can perceive, express, feel and think. This is true essence which means we are alive. An awareness of what is happening around an individual.
CONTENTMENT: To stand still, think soberly; and move by the unction of the Holy Ghost; to not be moved by your feelings; to be satisfied or gratified.
CORRECTION: A change that corrects a mistake; change from wrong to right or from abnormal to normal.
COUNSEL: To speak according to the will of God.
COUNSEL OF GOD'S OWN WILL: The determinate counsel. (Acts 2:22-24).
CURIOUSITY: A powerful enticement that is a craving to know the pleasures or disappointment of a sinful experience.
DAMAGED EMOTIONS: are the negative effects produced as a result of abuse or a void of love, touch, kindness and consideration.
DARKNESS: Hell, death, sorrow, destruction, misery. (St. Matthew 8:11-12; 22:13-14). Produced by being squalid or murky; a covering, a tent to deprive of light, condition of moral or spiritual depravity; blindness or blackness.
DEATH: 1. Separation from God. 2. The penalty for sin. 3. The falling out of relationship with God. (Genesis 2:17).
DECEIVE: 1. To mislead the mind of; to delude; to frustrate (1 Timothy 2:14). 2. To beguile; to deduce; to wander astray, to lead into error; to ensnare, especially by mingling the truth of God with mans doctrines; when you accept a lie as the truth.
DECEPTION: To believe a lie rather than the truth. (2 Thessalonians 2:11, 2 Timothy 4:3).
DEEDS: The functions or interactions of the flesh.
DELUSION: A wondering whereby those who are led astray roam higher and thither; wrong opinion or mental straying
DEMONSTRATION: To see the operations of holiness, godliness, legalism and pride moving in the scriptures through your own life or the lives of others.
DEPRESSION: Inward rage, confusion or anger caused by an inability to perform or achieve those things of this world upon which one sets his affections. The new creature is a citizen of New Jerusalem in heaven. However, the fleshy mind if not in submission to Godly influence will seek to satisfy flesh by devising methods of obtaining earthly goals, dreams or aspirations. When this fails (because of the responsibility of faith in our lives), the lust of the eyes, flesh or the pride of life is not satisfied. Thus, the fleshy mind provides the sensation of being trapped or depressed. (Psalm 42:11). Continuous denial of expression; the act of internalizing the emotions inside the body.
DEPTH: The mysteries of God or the deep things of God. To understand the Mystery of Iniquity, the Mystery of Godliness, the Mystery of the Church, The Rapture, etc. (Ephesians 3:18).
DERELICT: Someone who has been abandoned; a destitute and homeless misfitDESIRE - To wish or long for; crave passion; to express a wish for; request (Genesis 3:6; 3:16; James 4:2; Ephesians 2:3).
DESTROYED: To pull down; to overthrow; to devastate; annihilate (Galatians 1:23).
DEVIL: An accuser or slanderer. An accuser of God and the saints. (St. Matthew 4:8, St. Luke 4:6, Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:8).
DIRECT EXPERIENCES: Those situations, circumstances and relationships that are actually lived through.
DISCERNMENT: To regard (1 Kings 3:9) recognize; pay attention to; be acquainted with; to look at something intently; to know; quick understanding (Isaiah 11:3, 1 Corinthians 2:14, 2 Kings 4:9, St. Luke, Hebrews 4:12, 5:14).
DISCONTENTMENT: A state of not being content with what one has.
DISPENSATION: 1. The act of dispensing. 2. Distribution of that which is appointed or bestowed by a higher power. 3. The particular way by which at different time periods God has made known His dealings with mankind and the methods of His dealings. 4. The suspending of a law or rule in some particular case. Official permission to break a rule (Ephesians 3:2). 5. A period of earthly time and God's dealings with man during that time. When the dispensation changes, God's method of dealing with man changes. (Example: Law and Grace).
DIVINE INTELLECT: That knowledge or truth that was breathed into man by God. (2 Timothy 3:16).
DOCTRINE: That which is taught. Scriptures or teachings that instruct The Church in the will of God. (Titus 1:9, Proverbs 4:2-4).
DOMESTIC EVANGELISM: the installation of ministerial programs or campaigns in our present communities that will compel men and women, boys and girls to come to Jesus and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
DOMINION: force, strength, rule over district governed.
DOWN TIMES: When God will allow you to be hungry and suffer need.
DRUNKENESS: To be overwhelmed by alcoholic beverages; intoxicated to be drunk with wine; being in a state of mental intoxication through the shedding of mens blood profusely.
EARTHEN VESSEL: Belonging to the earth; terrestrial; worldly fleshly body.
EARTHLY: Of the earth; specifically springing from the earth or born on the earth; human, mortal, not heavenly or divine.
EARTHY: Of or like earth or soil; consisting of or resembling earth, or soil; pertaining to the characteristics of this world; rude, coarse, unrefined, simple and natural (1 Corinthians 15:45-49).
EMOTION: The inward response to the feelings or passions of the flesh. Passion and feeling both mean to be touched by; affected; to experience sensation and impression. Biblical definition (Acts14:15). A state of consciousness having to do with the arousal of feelings distinguished from other mental states such as cognition, volition and awareness of physical sensation.
EMOTIONAL AFFECT: When you are intellectually or emotionally stimulated by the Word of God. Operation: Flesh is overwhelmed that it has learned something, yet the job is not completed until the mind has comprehended and is able to live the Word. (Galatians 5:24).
EMULATE: To strive to be equal or excel; to strive to be better than. (Galatians 5:20).
ENLIGHTEN: To give knowledge or truth; to endow with spiritual understanding; to edify; instruct; to acquaint someone with information, inform
ENTICEMENT: Temptation with hope of reward or pleasure.
ENVY: Discontent and ill will over anothers advantages or possessions; desire for something that another has; the feeling of displeasure produced by the witnessing or hearing of the advantage or prosperity of others; to be moved with jealousy.
ESTABLISHED: The act of establishing; state of being stable; to found permanently; to institute; to enact; to sanction; to confirm; to make good (Colossians 2:7).
ETERNAL LIFE: Life that exists without beginning or end; forever the same, unchangeable
EVANGELIST: To make known the secrets of God's heart to man. To convict of sin and constrain to worship. (Ephesians 4:11).
EVIL EYE: Evil ambitions. To set your sights on something you want, as opposed to what the Lord's desires are for your life. (St. Matthew 6:22-23). Looks to the worlds system for provisions for the flesh.
EVIL THOUGHT: A method or way contrary to obeying the Word or acknowledging God in all your ways. Thoughts must be measured by God's purpose, plan, design and objective for motive and intent. (St. Matthew 15:19).
EXHALATION: Air, atmosphere, spirit or expression; breathing out; the manifestation or expression of the inward interpretation of the experiences and craving of the flesh.
EXHALED: Air coming out. Expression of the products of the fleshy mind.
EXPRESSION: To show mood or feeling; the exhalation of the soul that rides on the air
FAITH: 1. The operation of the Holy Ghost in the life of the believer which empowers him to become a son. (Colossians 2:12) 2. The operation of the Holy Ghost that dispenses the gifts and administrations of God for service. (Ephesians 4:5-7) 3. The substance of our hope Christ in us the hope of glory. (Hebrews 11:1, 10:34; Colossians 1:27). 4. The ability of God. 5. The effectual working of God's grace. (Ephesians 3:7) Unquestioning belief; complete trust or confidence; loyalty; firm persuasion; a conviction based upon hearing and a full acknowledgement of Gods revelation truth.
FALLACIES OF SCRIPTURAL INTERPRETATION: There is no private interpretation of scripture. The Bible interprets itself through figurative, symbolic or literal language. (2 Peter 1:19-20) Operations: You have to be careful of two things in your interpretation of scripture: A. Presumption assuming you know the meaning of scriptures before researching and studying them. B. Spiritualizing when you give scripture your own meaning.
FALSE TEACHINGS: Error in doctrines, intent and demonstration of the scriptural teachings. If you continue to hunger and thirst after righteousness, the Holy Ghost is faithful to teach you correctly and further reveal to you God's Word and will.
FANATICISM: Actions that are fueled by a desire to obtain or maintain power in a situation, circumstance or relationship.
FEAR OF THE LORD: 1. The beginning of wisdom. 2. The wisdom of God is the teaching of the scriptures by the Holy Ghost. 3. Developer of all spiritual senses. 4. The movement of the Spirit of God (Genesis 1:1). 5. Christ was the Spirit of Wisdom planted in the earth. 6. Our spiritual vision (eyesight of the sons, St. Luke 4:18). 7. Causes you to see the kingdom of God. 8. Incubator for the desires of the Father. 9. Will teach you knowledge (St. Luke 11:49). 10. The operation of the Word. 11. The key (authority) of knowledge allows you to experience the truth. 12. Ability to anticipate God and Satan. Prophesy (God never changes). 13. To the sons, the revelation of Christ.
FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE: Meaning of the scripture is always found in the context of the scripture. Meaning may precede the script. Never meant to change the meaning of the scripture. Discern by the way the word is used. In Galatians 2:9, pillars describes Peter, James and John's spiritual disposition. 1 Peter 2:5, lively stones.FILLED To be made full and complete in Christ. To be made full of the presence, power, agency and the riches of God's glory.
FINISHER: The one who completes the job.
FIRMAMENT: an arch or bow; a separation which divides the waters from the waters (Genesis 1:6-7).
FLESH: The entrance and outlet for the desires of the mind and the body. The human body as distinguished from the soul; entrance and outlet for the gates to the mind: eyes, ears, nose, mouth and touch.
FLESHY RESTRAINTS: Limitations put on flesh that causes it to deny the pleasures of sin.
FOOLISHNESS: Man's wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:20).
FOREKNOWLEDGE: (see foresight)FORM - Desolation; emptiness, vacant; a worthless thing with boundaries; confusion
FORESIGHT: Gods omnipotence and prudence.
FORNICATION: Sexual intercourse between unmarried persons.
FRUSTRATION: 1. Erroneous interpretation of lifes experiences. 2. Severe mental stress that leads to depression. 3. To bring to nothing; to stop short and refuse to go on. 4. To be filled with dissatisfaction due to something that is unresolved.
FULLNESS: Presence, power and agency of God. The presence of God refers to the change of our nature. We have taken on the image of the Son of God. Now, the Father and the Son dwell in us. The power of God makes reference to the operation of the Holy Ghost. Agency of God refers to the office through which your work or service in the kingdom is channeled. (Ephesians 1:23; 3:19; Colossians 1:19; 2:9).
FUNCTIONAL: Operative; being able to perform; designed for or adapted to a particular need or activity.
GENTLENESS: Generosity, kindness, patience, no harshness or roughness; forbearance, mildness, fairness, moderation, sweet reasonableness, goodness of heart, gracious.
GILGAL: A place where you can see God move. A place of cleansing. Called the hill of the Lord. Called the hill of the foreskin. (Joshua 5:3).
GLORIFY THE FATHER: Doing only the will of God.
GLORY: Creature submission. Operations: Christ is glorified when principalities and powers are in submission to us. Our glory comes from Christ. Glory will be dispensed when you develop the virtue or character (nature) of Christ.
GODLINESS: A relationship with your fellowman that is acceptable unto God. We cannot have true fellowship with God without having a true relationship with our fellowman.
GOODNESS: Having the proper qualities; able to endure or be used for a period of time; kindness; in the sense of upright, righteous; to express oneself in indignation against sin, but in grace and tenderness and compassion.
GRACE: 1. God's divine influence upon the heart that is reflected in our life. 2. The power to effect (change) others. 3. The reproductive power and responsibility of the Holy Ghost to beget more sons for the Father. 4. Unmerited favor or love. 5. Absolute freeness of the loving kindness of God. Operations: When you hear the Word (to listen with the heart) and make your heart available to the Word, Grace will cause the Word to effect (change) your heart. It will either breed rebellion in you or it will cause you to submit.
HABIT: Disposition; a usual way of doing a thing often.
HABITATION: A dwelling place; residence; a place in which to live.
HATEFULLY DESTRUCTIVE NATURE: Shaped in iniquity and born in sin; violence; unforgiving; the mind desires to satisfy its perverted nature.
HATRED: To be jealous; to be resentful; malicious and unjustifiable feelings towards others.
HEART: Consciousness; the seat of reflection. The heart consists of the faculty of perception, understanding, feeling, judging and determination. The totality of mans inner or immaterial nature. It is the seat of the deepest and innermost feelings. It is the control center for all emotions, appetites, affections and will. You might say that it is the center of the breath of life. This is the place where affections are interpreted, emotions are released, appetites are accepted, will is birthed and personality is formed. Wisdom and understanding reside in the heart (1 Kings 3:12, Proverbs 16:23). It is also a synonym for mind (2 Chronicles 9:23), sense (Proverbs 11:12), or perceptive nature (2 Kings 5:26).
HEIGHT: 1. Your station or position in God. 2. High rank, heavenly places. 3. Dominion over principalities and powers. 4. Majesty of the sons of God. 5. Acceptance in the beloved. (Ephesians 1:19; 6:10). To understand what it means to be seated in heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 1:3); the highest limit, greatest degree, extreme; the distance from the bottom to the top.
HERESIES: Religious belief opposed to the doctrines of the Word of God; any opinion opposed to ordained and established views. An opinion, especially a self-willed opinion, which is substituted for submission to the power of truth and leads to division and the formation of sects. An erroneous opinion.
HIGH PRIEST: One who goes before God on behalf of the people.
HIGH THING: Any action, feeling, mindset or relationship that exalts itself against or above the knowledge of God.
HOLINESS: Your relationship with God that is acceptable unto Him.
HOLY GHOST: The spirit of the godhead bodily living in you.
HOMOSEXUALITY: Characterized by or involving sexual attraction felt by one for another person of the same sex.
HOPE: Joyful expectation.
HOPE DEFERRED: When something you expected to happen did not happen and caused you to become frustrated (Proverbs 13:12).
HOST: A force or army organized especially for war; angels; stars; an encampment.
HUMAN SPIRIT: Air in motion; breath of life; consciousness.
HUMILITY: Not to be offended by abasement (being brought low); humiliation.
HUNGER: To crave or seek righteousness with eager desire.
IDOLATER: A slave to a person or depraved ideas that are idolized.
IDOLATRY: Worship of idols; excessive reverence for or devotion to a person or things. Immorality and sins of the flesh are associated and traced to lack of acknowledgment of God and gratitude to Him. The sin of the mind that wars against God.
ILLUSION: The process by which imagination is formed; a created image by the mind.; created based upon a suggestion or deception.
IMAGE: A visual representation of God. Able to bear responsibility, given dominionship, able to procreate. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 8:29).
IMAGINATION: 1. A mental extension of those things that you have been exposed to: origin is from the earth. (Genesis 6:5). 2. The ability of the soul to produce images or ideas (by either directly or indirectly experiencing them), that at present may only be lived out in the mind. 3. A holding place for thoughts for future consideration. a place of refueling; the manufacturer of plans; designs that are pre-lived desires of the flesh. 4. The act or power of forming mental images of what is not actually present or experienced. 5. The contemplation of action as the result of a verdict of the conscience. It carries evil purpose and reasoning. Imagination is most frequently translated as thoughts.
IMAGINE: Practice as the result of devising or planning.
IMITATION: Patterning after or using someone or something else for a model.
IMMUTABILITY: Unchangeable actions of the flesh. (Hebrews 6:13).
IMPRESSION: The souls response to those things the flesh either has experienced or desires to experience.
IMPURE HEART: When the actions of the flesh offend the heart. The impurities do not originate in the heart, but they do affect the disposition of a saint.
INCREASE: The ability to see, hear and operate the lessons you have learned. To walk in the Word that you know. (1 Thessalonians 3:12).
INCUBATOR: An apparatus for surrounding premature babies in a controlled environment.
INDIRECT EXPERIENCE: Exposure to or the witnessing of the experiences of others.
INFIDELITY: Unfaithfulness in marriage.
INFLUENTIAL: Power to change.
INHERIT THE EARTH: To receive an allotted portion or one's own possession. Tranquil, stable state of existence.
INIQUITY: 1. Rebellion against instituted authority. 2. Lawlessness. 3. Absence of love. 4. Designed to stop the flow of love (Ezekiel 28:15); rebellion against instituted authority (Ezekiel 28:15-16). To form a negative opinion. This is the condition of the unregenerated man where there is no presence of God in his inward parts.
INORDINATE AFFECTION: A craving for unnatural affection that is sometimes considered to be love.
INSPIRATION: Breathed into, breath, wind, divine intelling. Comes from God, not the earth and is always accompanied by a Spirit of Might, a God given ability to accomplish whatever He has breathed into you. (Job 32:8; 2 Timothy 3:16).
INSTRUCTION: Given by God through the operations of the Holy Ghost (2 Timothy 3:16-17).INTELLECT - That mental faculty which receives ideas; the power of the mind to understand and to accept knowledge.
INTELLING: A divine telling of truth and instruction given by God. (Proverbs 8:10; 12:1; 19:27; 2 Timothy 3:16). Having a forceful effect (2 Timothy 3:16, Job 32:8); inward telling.
INTENT OF SCRIPTURE: 1. What the scripture is trying to convey. 2. Purpose.
INTROVERT: To live and feel inside of the soul without interacting with reality; a brooder; a loner or self-observer.
INWARD PARTS: The innermost parts of the man that is not seen; made up of the soul, heart, conscience and the mind.
JEALOUSY: A state of being resentful and suspicious of one who enjoys an advantage; for of losing ones uniqueness inside of his or her territorial sphere of influence.
JOY: A very glad feeling; happiness; delight; to abound more exceedingly; exaltation; to benefit; and to profit.
JUDGE: To render the instruction of the Lord.
JUDGMENT: The determination of the verdict or penalty.
KIND: Kindred, related to, kinsman. (Genesis 1:11; Ruth 1, 2, 3, 4; St. Matthew 13:47; James 1:18).
KNOWLEDGE: Having the ability to know facts and information; understanding gained by actual experience; the state of being aware of something or of having information; something learned and kept in the mind.
KNOWLEDGE, THE SPIRIT OF: 1. To experience; spiritual discernment. 2. The Spirit of Knowledge reveals God in our experiences. 3. A marriage of experience and Word is always knowledge.
LADEN: That thing that is packaged and placed upon you. Packaged burden.
LASCIVIOUSNESS: Characterized by or expressing lust or exciting lust; wantonness; readiness for all pleasure; absence of restraint; indecency and shameless conduct.
LAW OF DEATH: 1. States that the wages of sin is death; penalty for sin. 2. The authority to devour or destroy because of sin. (Romans 3:23).
LAW OF GENESIS: Every seed produces after its own kind. (Genesis 1:11-12).
LAW OF KINSMANSHIP: States that if property was lost, it could only be redeemed by that person who was kinsman to the person who lost the property.
LAW OF REDEMPTION: States that man is lost and can only be redeemed by one who is related (kinsman) to the human race, therefore, Jesus put on the likeness of sinful flesh and became a man.
LAW OF REMISSION: States that without the shedding of blood, there is no removal of sin. (Romans 3:25).
LAW OF SACRIFICE: States that the sacrifice has to be pure without spot or wrinkle. (Exodus 12:5; Hebrews 9:14).
LAW OF SIN: States that the disobedience of man will cause him to be separated from God. (Genesis 2:17; Romans 7:25).
LAW OF SIN AND DEATH: The power of sin working in the flesh to bring about death which is separation from God and judgment.
LAW OF STUDY: 1. The Bible interprets itself and is the final authority on any subject. 2. There is no private interpretation of scripture. (2 Peter 1:16-21; St. John 1:1-5; 1 John 1:1-10). Look for: Purpose of scripture, relationships, manifestations (demonstrations).
LAW OF WILL: States that man's will must be in total submission to the will of the Father. (St. Luke 22:42).
LEGALISM: Any action, mindset or relationship that is untouched by Faith, grace or virtue.
LENGTH: 1. The distance between the babe in Christ and the matured son. 2. Distance which is hindered by the fleshy mind. 3. The method by which God moves you from point A (point of weakness, frailty and fear) to point B (the strength of Christ by the renewing of the mind). 4. Your spiritual growth pattern or how God moves you from one spiritual location to another. 5. To comprehend how God is using circumstances, situations and relationships in your life and in the lives of others. (Ephesians 3:18).
LIE: A falsehood, the seed of the spirit of iniquity, a false attitude of man toward God; changing the truth of God and causing it to be false.
LIFE: Personality. The last Adam (Jesus) was a personality put in flesh. (St. Luke 12:15, 23; St. John 1:4; 2 Corinthians 3:6).
LIFESAVERS CLINIC: a bible study which uses the lure of a label or title that suggests the study will focus on one major issue that holds an individual captive or makes them dysfunctional in their relationship with God and man. The label clinic also suggests that one will be in a setting where all the participants suffer with the same problem, thus gendering hope that there might be a solution in the multitude of counsel.
LIGHT: The Spirit of God; His life; His Word. An illumination; brightness; metaphorically, of spiritual enlightenment; to shine forth; the Lord Jesus as the illuminator of men
LIKENESS: Refers to a close resemblance in qualities, nature, knowledge, shape, wisdom or opinion. A copy, not the real thing. (Genesis 1:26, Acts 14:11; 1 Corinthians 15:49).
LION'S EYE: A righteous position inside the Word (fear of the Lord) that allows us to see God's perspective inside circumstances, situations and relationships.
LITERAL LANGUAGE: The scripture says what it means and means what it says.
LIVING SOUL: Life, expression. Life given to the soul. (Genesis 2:7; 1 Corinthians 15:45). Alive unto God; exhalation; a soul that has been given life; life given to the soul after mans brain was brought alive, functional, and was able to discern or understand emotions, desires, appetites and will.
LONG-SUFFERING: Bearing trouble patiently for a long time; a forbearance or patience; to be long tempered; that quality of self restraint in the face of provocation which does not hastily retaliate, promptly punish, surrender to circumstances or succumb under trial.
LOVE: 1. Strong affection or liking for someone or something. 2. To express the essential nature of God. It is the strongest feeling the soul can express. There is no feeling or emotions greater than love.
LUST: 1. Lawless desire of the fleshy mind eager to be expressed in the body. (James 1:13-15). 2. A strong desire of any kind; wantonness; a craving for things that are unlawful; the desire for things which are obtained by breaking the laws of God. 3. Lust is conceived in the mind and it is the offspring of the imagination. Lust is not confined to the sexual pleasures enjoyed by the world, but it includes the unlawful want for things. (Unlawful in the sense that the method by which they are obtained breaks the laws of God.) 4. A diseased condition of the mind.
LUST OF THE EYE: A passion for things looked upon manifested by greediness and cunning craftiness.
LUST OF THE FLESH: 1. Unlawful pleasures that the body desires to experience. (1 John 2:16; Colossians 2:18). 2. A wantonness to experience the pleasures of the flesh that are inspired by Satan. 3. A passion to experience and fulfill sexual appetites.
LYING EMOTIONS: The emotion produced by a lie or lies.
MANIFOLD GATE: Entrances where good and evil can enter.
MANIPULATE: A tool used by will to manage artfully or by shrewd use of influence.
MASOCHISTIC: The getting of pleasure, often sexual, from being hurt or humiliated.
MEASURE OF FAITH, THE: The distance Faith has so far carried us in our spiritual walk.
MEASURING STICK: Measure of faith we use to comprehend our lifes experiences in the past and present.
MEEKNESS: Patience and mildness, gentleness; submissive; that temper of spirit in which we accept Gods dealings with us as good. Humility does not fight against God. Being meek toward God when faced with evil men out of a sense that those with the insults and injuries which they may inflict, are permitted and employed by Him for the chastening and purifying of His elect.
MEMBER: Limb of the body that can be used to accomplish righteousness and/or unrighteousness.
MEMORY: That function of the brain that houses past events. Memory set the standard for Adam's life.
MERCY: Compassion. It is the fruit of the compassion of the soul. Helps those in trouble with a great desire to relieve them of their afflictions. An action. Subsequent to salvation, not a prerequisite. (1 Chronicles 21:13; Psalm 119:41; Isaiah 54:7; St. Matthew 9:36).
MIGHT: The ability and capability of accomplishing God's will. To be strengthened by the Holy Ghost living inside you.
MIND: A combination of the fleshy mind (brain) and the products it produces. The human consciousness that originates in the brain and is manifested especially in thought, perception, feeling, will, memory or imagination; the principle of intelligence; the spirit of consciousness regarded as an aspect of reality.
MINDSET: The method and element by which we judge situations, circumstances and relationships. The position the fleshy mind takes as it responds to the circumstances, situations and relationships in our lives.
MINISTER: One who will at all costs execute the commands of his master. In our case, Jesus is the master and we are to dispense the Gospel of our Lord to a dying world. A minister is one who has become a steward of the words of life. His only focus must be to bring someone else into the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 3:7; Philippians 2:7-8; 1 Thessalonians 3:2).
MINISTRY: 1. The anointing that the Holy Ghost has placed on the work that is inside you. 2. Anointed service, acceptable to God. (Romans 12:7; Ephesians 4:11-12; 2 Timothy 4:5; 2 Corinthians 5:18).
MURDER: The unlawful, malicious or premeditated killing of someones character or personage; to slaughter; to kill
MYSTERY: That which can be revealed only by the Holy Ghost. (St. Matthew 16:16-17; St. John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10; Ephesians 1:9; Colossians 1:27).
NATURAL: Of nature, of the earth, the ground; derivative of Adam; of or arising from nature; not artificial or manufactured; in a state provided by nature without man-made changes. (1 Corinthians 15:45-47, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 2:14)
NATURE OF MAN: Earthy; natural; of this world.
NATURE OF SATAN: Evil; destructive; slanderous; a liar and a murderer.
OBEDIENCE: To be fully persuaded by God and not influenced by the dictates of the flesh to walk in submission, (an attitude of the heart), to the Word of God. Jesus learned obedience by the things He suffered in dealing with His fellowman (Hebrews 5:8). Jesus did only those things that pleased the Father. He only said what He heard the Father say and only did what He saw the Father do (St. John 5:19, 8:29, 14:10). Obedience is not by submission to authority but results from the influence of the effectual working power of the Holy Ghost.
OBSESSION: To be held captive by an idol; which may be a person, persistent idea, desire or emotion that cannot be removed by reasoning or logic. It is an emotion causing compulsive preoccupation with oneself, total delusion and lying emotions. The fruit of this operation is hardening of the heart against obvious truth; the mental force by which a created image in the mind drives the flesh to its limits, striving to fulfill the requirements of the image; a delusion in which the created image is accepted as fact not fiction though the imagery be a lie; it is accepted in the mind as real; a blindness of the heart.
OFFENSE: 1. An occasion to stumble or fall. 2. Will cause anger, dislike or displeasure which are emotions and reactions of the flesh and the fleshy mind.
OMNIPOTENCE: The all ruling, Almighty, being the absolute and universal sovereign; all; whole; power; strength; having unlimited power or authority; all-powerful being.
OPERATION: The mind comes to a place where it judges your flesh or someone elses flesh.
OPERATIONS OF SCRIPTURE: Holiness, godliness, legalism and pride.
OPPOSE: To be in conflict with or resisting; setting yourself against; for example, opposing your inner man or conscience. (2 Timothy 2:24-26).
OXYGEN: Life-giving spirit; the breath of life
PASSIONS: To be touched by or affected; to experience a sensation or impression; to express or long for; request. feelings or affections in your members.
PASTOR: To teach, refute, reprove, admonish and comfort.
PATIENCE: 1. Tribulation works or produces patience. 2. For developing Christian character (James 1:4, 5:7-8). 3. Patience is the capacity, habit or fact of being patient. 4. To suffer, bearing pain or trials without complaint. 5. Manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain. 6. Not hasty or impetuous. 7. Steadfast despite opposition, difficulty or adversity. The scripture teaches us that patience is worked in us by the everyday trials of our life (Romans 5:3; James 1:3). Take the prophets as an example of suffering affliction and of patience. Perfect complete in Christ. The position of the heart as it relates to God (2 Corinthians 7:1).
PEACE: The absence or end of strife, granting deliverance and freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as a result of sin.
PEACEBREAKER: One who does not regard the operation of the Holy Ghost; covenant breakers (Romans 1:31).
PEACEMAKER: One who does not interfere with the operation of the Holy Ghost in their own life and in the lives of others. The peacemaker will keep God's purpose for man (a manifested son) always before Him. He will always seek to allow God's peace to prevail. (St. Matthew 5:9; Hebrews 12:14).
PERCEIVE: Think about; interpret.
PERFECTION: The ability to choose to always obey God; complete in Christ; mature in God where sin is no longer an issue.
PERFECTOR: A five-fold minister placed in the body of Christ to edify and perfect (mature, train) the saints for the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11).
PERSECUTION: Constant affliction to injure or distress.
PERSPECTIVE OF SCRIPTURE (BIBLE): Perspective To see as God sees; God's point of view; the ability to see things in their true relationship. The perspective is going to be found when you determine the intention of the scripture. Non-Reconcilable When scripture seems to contradict itself. This happens when scripture is not seen in true relationship. Always ask why, when you see error. Examples of non-reconcilable scriptures are: 1 Corinthians 14:34 and 1 Timothy 2:12. The traditional conclusion is that women are forbidden to teach in Church or there is to be no female ministering in Church to men. There are other scriptures that contradict this conclusion, such as: Acts 2:17-18; Galatians 3:28. In addition to these scriptures, there are also scriptures dealing with Phillip's two daughters prophesying and the woman prophesying but had no covering on her head. Therefore, in this case, perspective was wrong, causing contradiction in interpretation.
PERVERSION: A diverting from the true intent or object; misapplication.
PERVERT: To change the meaning of; to corrupt; to misuse; to debase.
PESSIMIST: A person who believes the worst, does not trust God and slanders the intent of the Word in his life.
PHARISEES: Men zealous for religion, whose attitude was very external, formal and mechanical. (They laid stress not upon righteousness of an action but upon its formal correctness.)
PLEASURE: An agreeable feeling of satisfaction ranging from a quiet sense of gratification to a positive sense of happiness (St. Luke 8:14, Titus 3:3, James 4:1,3).
POINT OF DEMARCATION: The place of decision where we have to choose between darkness and light.
PORTER'S MINISTRY: 1. First ministry God gave to man. 2. Bishop 3. To monitor that which enters or exits a life, lives or the earth itself.
POSSESS: To keep.
POWER OF CHRIST: The anointing to minister the Gospel of the Kingdom both in Word and in deeds.
POWER OF LIFE: A lust to be exalted by the system of the world.
POWER OF THE AIR: The spirit of Satan that works in the children of disobedience. Angelic beings, thrones, dominions, principalities and rulers of the darkness of this world.
POWERS: Angelic beings.
PRECEPTS: A direction meant as a rule of action or conduct.
PREDESTINATION: A guarantee that faith will bring you to a place to experience the truth, thereby assuring that you are given the opportunity to choose between good and evil. God uses His foresight (ability to see from beginning to end) and foreknowledge (to know all things and having the ability to establish the end before the beginning). To establish those whom He called (Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11).
PREDETERMINED: To decide before-hand (Ephesians 1:5).
PRESUMPTION: To assume you already know the meaning of scripture before researching and studying. Usually due to handed down interpretations.
PRIDE: Any operation that opposes truth; exalts itself above the knowledge of God. 2. Self-exaltation that is manifested as self-righteousness, inordinate self-esteem.
PRIDE OF LIFE: A passion for reputation, authority or power.
PRINCE: Ruler of nations of the power of the air; constitutes the seat of his authority.
PRINCIPALITIES: 1. Angelic host both Godly and satanic. 2. Spiritual beings in high places.
PRINCIPLE: A measuring stick that measures everything you hear.
PROPHESYING: 1. Foretelling of the will of God that is spiritually discerned. Cannot be naturally deduced. 2. To comfort, edify, encourage or exhort. Exhort also means to admonish, warn, to take a particular course of conduct. Prophesying is not always future. (St. Matthew 7:22; Acts 19:6; 1 Peter 1:10).
PROPHET: 1. A male messenger and a declarer of God's will. 2. Declares and interprets the oracles of God. 3. One who teaches, refutes, reproves, admonishes and also comforts. Moved by the Spirit to speak of future events pertaining to the kingdom of God. His words are not His own but those that are divinely received from the Lord. (Ephesians 4:11).

PROVISION: Allows you to prepare and prove.
PRUDENCE: 1. Penetrating consideration. 2. Multifaceted wisdom.
PURPOSE: Object in view; plan; intention of what the Father wants from us.
QUICKENING SPIRIT: 1. A life-giving spirit. 2. Divine wind. Spirit is life and life has a personality. (Psalm 119:25, 40, 88; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 15:45).
QUICK UNDERSTANDING: Enlightenment and spiritual discernment.
REACTIONS: A response to a stimulus; a negative stimulus will cause a negative reaction; a positive stimulus will cause a positive response.
REASONING: When we assimilate data. Limited to influence of the flesh, or those things to which the flesh has been exposed. The ability to decide things; to obtain ideas; to think clearly and to make logical and rational choices and decisions; the drawing of inferences or conclusions from known or assumed facts; assimilated data limited by influence of the fleshy mind that is in touch with the world (St. Matthew 6:7, St. Mark 2:2-8, 11:27-33; Job 13:1-6, St. Luke 9:46-47).
REBELLION: A test of your love for God by the revealing of wantonness (lust), which comes from personal ambition. Magnifies self. Will worship. (Colossians 2:20, 23).
RECONCILIATION: To remove all enmity through love, unity and peace; the ministry of the saints of God in restoring all men to God through love and grace.
REGRESSION: To go back to a former and usually worse condition. Backslide, retreat, move backwards, to back up. (St. Luke 9:62).
RELATIONSHIPS: Those interactions or exchanges with mankind in which you are responsible for revealing Christ and perpetrating the will of God.
RENEWAL: An exchange of influence; renew; to transform
REPRESSION: To restrain; to exclude from the conscious mind; the inability to express ones true personality; causes pessimism and allows no joy; hinders natural expression and development; the opposite of expression.
REPROACH: Shame, disgrace; accusation of a fault.
REPROBATE: Rejected; a mind of which God cannot approve and which must be rejected by Him; one whose moral sense is perverted.
REPROOF: Rebuke. Words intended to reprove (charge with a fault) (Job 5:17, Proverbs 13:18, 25:12, 2 Timothy 4:2, , Hebrews 12:5).
RESERVOIR: A place where anything is collected and stored; a receptacle, a holding place.
RESURRECTION POWER: The Spirit of God living in the inward parts of man to change his desires.
RETRIBUTION: Pay back; punishment for evil done or reward for good done.
REVELATION: To unveil, uncover or reveal. The communication of the knowledge of God to the soul. In order to know God we must study His Word. We experience God by operating in the Word we learn inside our circumstances, situations and relationships. (Romans 16:25; Ephesians 3:3; Revelation 1:1). Operations: A. The communicator must communicate with the spirit of your mind. B. An impression must be made on your mind called enlightenment. C. An expression of the mind of God communicated to the soul (1 Corinthians 14:6).
REVELING: To make merry, to take much pleasure. Luxuriousness, daintiness, the concomitant consequence of drunkenness.
RIGHTEOUSNESS: Any action, mindset or relationship that is acceptable unto God.
RIGHTEOUS THINKING: Thinking that always considers God and purpose.
RIGHTNESS: A carnal and fleshy disposition that may meet earthy moral standards, but fails to introduce righteousness which is a position that exemplifies the character and strength of Christ. Rightness is void of sufficient grace needed to influence or turn a heart toward God. (Deuteronomy 12:8; 2 Kings 17:9; 2 Peter 2:15).
RULER: One who rules or governs; spirit and powers that are under the will of God; those who exercise satanic authority over the world.
SADDUCCEES: see Pharisees
SALT OF THE EARTH: A preservative, savor; season or intreat with the Word (St. Matthew 5:13).
SATAN: Adversary; deceiver (deceit is his weapon). (St. Matthew 16:23, St. Luke 22:3; 1 Corinthians 7:5).
SATAN'S PURPOSE: To slander God; to discredit the power of God in a person's life.
SCRIBE: One who writes what is dictated to him (Revelation 1:19).
SEASON OF REVEALING: Trials or set-ups that come to reveal seeds of disloyalty in us as they relate to God and His instituted authorities. Testing and trials always originate in the foresight and foreknowledge of God. (Job 23:10; 1 Peter 1:6-7). When your leader is going through a season of testing, God is judging your response to the disposition of that leader. Any leader who is chosen by God to perform a work has been tried in God's foresight and provisions for his failures or weaknesses have been made.
SECOND HEAVEN: Satan's abode; atmosphere.
SEDITION: A stirring up of rebellion against instituted authority; a dissension, an insurrection, a standing apart; causing tumults, trouble, false teaching.
SEDUCING SPIRITS: To weaken; to entice or lure; to lead astray by catering to the desires of the flesh and the lust of the imagination.
SELF-AWARENESS: A mindset designed to make provisions for the flesh.
SELFISHNESS: A mindset that has no regard for the disposition of others; a watchful eye on the things that affect only you.
SELF-WILL: A mindset designed to make provisions for the flesh.
SEMEN: Seed of life; the secretion of the male reproductive system containing sperm; the sperm; the seed of male animals and humans.
SHAPEN: (Hebrew--chuwl khool or chyl kheel) To twist; to wound; to pervert.
SHEILD OF FAITH: The power of the Word in our heart.
SINGLE-EYE: Being one with God.
SITUATIONS: Operations that are set up by the Holy Ghost wherein we can choose to do the right, wrong or the righteous thing.
SOUL: 1. The spirit of the mind. 2. The inner atmosphere of the body. 3. A combination of the brain and its products. 4. This is the mind. 5. The brain and its expressions.
SOULICAL TIE: An agreement based on mental dispositions that oppose the Word of God.
SPIRIT: Divine or demonic life; personality (Godly or satanic). Ruwach (Hebrew): air for breathing, life-giving air, the light of God (enlightenment); the essence of a man; Candle of the Lord (Proverbs 20:27); Natural spirit in man (Genesis 2:7, 7:22); Breath of Life (Job 32:8); divine inspiration, intellect and understanding; spirit is wind or life; that element which causes man to live. The energy of the air that gets the brain moving; breath going in (Job 7:7--my life is wind, Job 26:3--the spirit of God is in my nostrils).
SPIRIT OF COUNSEL: The ability of a son of God to bring peace (He himself being a peacemaker) in every circumstance, situation and relationship. The ability to speak according to the oracles of God. The ability to articulate wisdom in the midst of any trial. Counsel that will never move outside of the boundaries of the Word of God. Counsel that will never separate itself from truth. (Isaiah 11:2).
SPIRIT OF ENLIGHTENMENT: To give spiritual insight to; to furnish knowledge that causes the eyes of the flesh to see what is happening in the Spirit (Ephesians 1:18).
SPIRIT OF INIQUITY: The spirit of Satan whose influence in the unbeliever has brought the innerman or conscience into captivity. For the believer, it is the influence of Satan in the heart that brings our minds into captivity; which causes us to produce an evil anointing.
SPIRITUAL EFFECT: 1. A process of the renewing of the mind. 2. The method by which the Word, which is Spirit, will cause the fleshy mind to fall in love with Christ (Ephesians 4:23; Colossians 3:10; 1 Corinthians 3:1). The renewing of the mind is going to be done by learning Christ. When the mind learns Christ, it will dispel vanity. If you have not learned Christ, you are still a babe and not walking in the Spirit. Therefore, you are walking in the flesh. There is no medium.
SPIRITUALIZING: 1. To take a scripture and give it a meaning out of your own mind or something you have heard from someone else. 2. Not allowing the scriptures to interpret themselves.
SPIRITUAL LOCATION: The disposition of our fleshy mind in every circumstance, situation or relationship and will reflect how we now deal and respond (spiritual), or react (carnal).
SPIRITUAL OPERATIONS: 1. A series of acts or workings expressed primarily through exhalation to effect a certain purpose. 2. Examples of the movement of faith in the life of the believer. These examples cause us to see the Word come to life in our situations and relationships.
SPIRITUAL SENSES: The attribute of the new creature. For example, as the human being has five natural senses (hearing, sight, taste, smell and touch), likewise, the spiritual being has senses (might, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel and the fear of the Lord, Isaiah 11:2).
SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS: 1. A perversion of the ways in which the Holy Spirit demands we operate. 2. An abuse of our spiritual position in someones life. This is idolatry. When a leader or someone you look up to falls into sin, it could devastate you and others.
STRONGHOLD: A place of refueling or regrouping of the enemy.
SUBMISSION: A righteous attitude of the heart that is reflected in the mind and body.
SUICIDE: condemnation of the flesh by the mind; Websters Dictionary--the ruin of ones interest through ones own actions, etc.
SUPPRESSION: 1. To put an end to (especially by force). 2. Subdue. 3. To keep from being revealed. 4. To hold back. 5. To crush, overpower, bottle up, choke. (2 Timothy 1:7). 6. Denial of expression. 7. To hold back or deny expression, thoughts and an overall mental disposition. Operation: The devil will try to intimidate you into being fearful. He will tell you all the things you cannot do. Thus, producing low self-esteem that will not allow true potential to be realized.
SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE: The meaning of the scripture is found in the context or explained somewhere else in scripture. (Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 1:16-20).
TEACHER: One who speaks by divine inspiration that which is gathered from the completed revelation of the scriptures.
TEMPERANCE: Self-restraint in conduct and indulgence of the appetites; moderation; knowledge suggesting that what is learned must b put into practice; the various powers bestowed by God upon man capable of abuse; the right use demands the controlling power of the will under the operation of the spirit of God.
TEMPTATION: A reminder of past pleasures of the soul and an introduction to new ones. Temptation is one of the ways Satan tries to slander and discredit God. (St. Matthew 4:1-11; Ephesians 4:14; James 1:2, 12-15).
TERRITORIAL SPHERE OF INFLUENCE: Those circumstances, situations and relationships God has placed you in the midst of, so that you might influence with His righteousness (St. Matthew 5:13-16).TEST 1. A negative circumstance that may be brought by Satan, but allowed by God to prove or try your commitment to God. 2. An examination to determine ones divine knowledge, skill or intelligence. Tests reveal weaknesses and strengths.

The Fleshy Mind: 1. Thoughts and contents of the soul; especially without the influence of the word of God.2. The brain and its thinking and reasoning ability.
THINKING: The working of the fleshy mind; the mental processing of things that we see, hear and feel.
THIRD HEAVEN: Where God abides.
THOUGHT: Power of thinking, especially of reasoning and judging (Genesis 50:20, 1 Samuel 1:13, St. Luke 9:46-47, James 2:4).
THRONE: Seat of authority of a king or ruler.
TRADITION: Mans interpretation of Gods law. (St. Matthew 15:6; Colossians 2:8).
TRANSMITTAL SESSION: A time of personal ministering to impart life to another based upon a Spirit of Wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. (Ephesians 1:17).
TRUTH: The Word of God and the way of Godliness.
TYPES: Any person, event, object or institution that is divinely adapted by God to represent a spiritual reality. Divinely adapted by God means that the events and patterns of your life are parallel to the life of Christ or a spiritual reality. Used to illuminate, not formulate. To bring color, to amplify, to illustrate the meaning more perfectly. Parallels with or divinely adapted to portray the similitude of what was to come. Helps you to see Gods perspective.
UNBELIEF: Rejection of the truth. When faith brings you to a place of belief and you reject it. To know what you hear is the truth, but you refuse to apply it to your life. (St. Matthew 13:58, 17:20, Acts 14:2, Hebrews 4:6, 11).
UNCLEANNESS: Impure, filthiness, common; them who have been defiled. Having bodily conditions and diseases.
UNDER-SHEPHERD: those who work in conjunction with the five-fold ministers to aide in the development and perfection of the Body of Christ.
UNDERSTANDING: 1. The comprehension of the height, depth, breadth and the length (Ephesians 3:18). 2. To perceive the glory of God, all the thrones, dominions and principalities that are working by the unction of the Spirit to cause all things to work together for the good. 3. That spiritual attribute that causes us to enter into intercession for the needs of the human race. Allows us to be touched with the infirmities of others. Puts you in touch with the powers of the universe. 4. The knowledge of the Holy. (Proverbs 10:9; Psalm 19:12; Ephesians 1:18). This means you will experience or perform those things that are acceptable to God (Holy) and in return the Lord will respond with His own attributes (faithfulness, love, mercy, long-suffering, etc.). 5. The ability to understand and judge; to know the feelings and thoughts of.
UNFORGIVENESS: A battle to keep hurts, disappointments and pain alive.
UNITY OF THE FAITH: When all things in Christ come into the operation of the Holy Ghost. One mind and one heart to do the will of the Father. (Hebrews 9:22; Ephesians 3:13).
UNREGENERATE: One who has not received the Spirit of God (Romans 8:9); without Christ; stranger from the covenants of promise (Ephesians 2:12) dead in trespasses and sins; the children of disobedience.
VAIN IMAGINATION: Those thoughts that are not inspired by righteousness and are void of Gods influence.
VARIANCE: 1. A degree of change or difference; discrepancy; to seek official permission to bypass regulations; to cut apart, divide in two. 2. A strong desire to change things to suit your needs and wants.
VIRTUE: 1. To come face to face with temptation with the power to resist evil for the sake of righteousness. 2. Character. 3. Tested and ripe fruit.
VOID: Of no effect; not usable; an empty space; vacant.
WALL OF IMPASSE: A place of deadlock or dilemma where a decision must be made for righteousness in order to move closer to perfection.
WANTONNESS: A lust for things, ministry, control, authority, flesh, etc., not kept in due restraint; unprovoked; lustful; lewdness (2 Peter 2:18, James 5:5). Lasciviousness, insolent luxury; when you will break the laws of God to fulfill your desires. Readiness for all pleasure; one who acknowledges no restraints - who does whatever he desires and his unmanageable boundaries dictate (St. Mark 7:22, 2 Corinthians 12:21, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 4:19, Romans 13:14, 2 Peter 2:18).
WICKEDNESS: Anything which produces pain and expresses malice that effects others; iniquity.
WILL: That part of me that is determined to express the affects that any influence has had on my mind (1 Corinthians 7:37); hath power over his own will (St. John 1:13); not my will, but thine be done (St. Luke 22:42); against my will (1 Corinthians 9:16-17). The determination of the flesh to fulfill the desires of the fleshy mind.
WILL POWER: The drive or push to overcome any obstacle in order to fulfill the desire of the mind. Operations: A. Manipulation. B. Magnifies fleshy ability and causes you to fall in love with self. C. Fuel for pride. D. Never allows you to grow spiritually. E. Able to shape a negative attitude toward God. F. Causes you to shut out Gods Word or influence in your life. G. Gives life to a spirit of pessimism. H. Is produced based upon what the mind is exposed to or influenced by, therefore is limited as to what it can produce. God did not intend for us to serve Him with will power, but with the Spirit of Might that is given by the Holy Ghost.
WISDOM: Comprehending and discerning your experiences and the experiences of others. Identifies the ways of God. Always stands ready to reconcile any situation or individual back to God. The peacemaker who fears God. To see as God sees. It identifies the what, the how and the ways of God.
WITCHCRAFT: Any impression given by you that implies that you have supernatural powers over circumstances, situations and relationships without the counsel, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and might of God. Spirit of control. The power or practices of witches; the mysterious resources and powers of the sorcerer; spell-giving potion and magic.
WITNESS: 1. One who testifies of what he has seen, heard or knows. 2. Someone who declares Jesus. 3. Proves the testimony or substantiates the record. (1 John 5:7-9).
WORKS OF THE FLESH: Expressions of negative emotions (Galatians 5:19); The ventilation for the feelings of the soul that are gendered by negative stimuli of affections.
WRATH: Offenses housed in the memory. A product of wrath is unforgiveness. (James 1:19-20; Galatians 5:19-20; Ephesians 4:26). Wrath is not a demon. It is the work of the fleshy mind and is waiting for the opportunity to be exhaled in conversations or deeds. Intense anger, rage, or fury; and action of vengeance; hot anger, or passion; to move impetuously, particularly as the air or wind; a violent motion or passion of the mind; strife, contention, fight or quarrel; struggle. Contention is the expression of enmity. Wrangling debate or variance.
WRONG THINKING: 1. The root of all sin and inward spiritual adversity. 2. The foundation for all negative mindsets and mental dispositions such as depression, suppression and regression; negative thinking.
YOKE: To bind together. To yield to the movement of a leader.
