Now it is manifest that Jesus took upon himself the sins of the world. But there are some things that are most urgent for us to understand about this taking on of sin. First of all, sin created darkness in man. His body, soul and spirit were under the captivity of death. The law of sin continued to work in the members creating lust upon lust. All flesh was condemned by God; for all flesh was corrupt and evil continually. But Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh. This means that He was the Lord from Heaven; a child born of the Holy Ghost after the inner man, but given a body by the woman (the seed of Abraham).
Now before Mary was able to provide such a body, the Holy Ghost overshadowed her and sanctified her flesh. This was a type of circumcision of the flesh. We see this more clearly in the principal ‘greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world’. We also see it in the New Testament marriage; wherein if one spouse is not saved, the children are still born holy because of the power of the righteous seed.
1 Corinthians 7:13-14 (KJV)
13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
If this overshadowing had not occurred, Jesus would have inherited her Adamic sin. Nevertheless, he who knew no sin was made sin for us. Now follow me here. The human race was in the flesh and they had sinned in the flesh. Therefore, the penalty of death was the just recompense. This death must be a chastising of the flesh. Here we have the reason for Jesus coming in human flesh. He became a kinsman of the human race by taking on the seed of Abraham. It is his body that was likened unto us. He was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death. In other words, he was given a human body. But it was the human body that sinned against God. Thus we have the sacrifice of a living human body.

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
The sins of the world were placed on Christ, but these sins were put in the flesh. That was the humanity that he was kinsman to. His soul remained righteous, thus the scripture points out, there was no guile in his mouth. Therefore, his soul could be offered as a sin offering without spot or blemish, even after the sins of the world were laid upon him. We continue to see the character of God even on the cross in the saving of a sinner and in the forgiving of his tormentors. The Father promised Jesus that he would not leave his soul in hell, neither would he allow his body to see corruption.
Hebrews 10:19-20 (KJV)
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
Again we see the flesh or the body of sin was the veil that separated us from God. But this wall of partition was destroyed with the death, burial and resurrection of the Body of Christ. Now the passion our Savior suffered reads like a horror story. This story brings tears to our eyes as we realize all he suffered for our sake. But let us look even further into this mystery of Christ.
Isaiah 53:4-10 (KJV)
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
We have learned, it was the Determinate Council (the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost), who determined what manner of death Jesus would suffer.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
This word ‘healed’ here is making reference to us being healed of our sin nature. We were delivered from its power and placed in right-standing with God.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Herein is the mystery of Christ. Who shall declare his generation? He is cut off, dead, having no offspring. Brothers and Sisters, this is the scripture fulfilled. “If the princes of this world had known, they never would have crucified the Lord of glory.” If we continue reading this passage, we just might discover the mind of God.
Isaiah 53:9-10 (KJV)
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
After the Lord has made Jesus soul an offering for sin, then he, Jesus will see his seed. When after the penalty for the sins of man has been paid, it is then that the seed of the Lord will begin to bring forth its harvest. He shall see his seed:
1 Corinthians 15:35-38 (KJV)
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
The body that went into the tomb was alone. But the body that came forth had many members. He shall prolong his days: He will live again. In fact, he will rise to die no more. He will forever be with the Father. The pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hands: The pleasure of God is to have children that will stand before him in love. Through Jesus Christ he will have those children. There are other scripture that confirm these facts.
Psalm 22:1-21
1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
