Make No Provision For The Flesh

Throughout the New Covenant, the Lord has called us to righteousness. It is certain that sin is not the will of the Lord for the lives of the sons. In a previous conference, the Lord told me to reaffirm to the saints, that he who is born again does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him and He cannot sin.

Romans 13:14

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.You may ask, “How does one not make provision for the flesh?” Well, the answer is given to us in the very same verse. We simply do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

1 John 2:16

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.If you are going to truly fellowship with the Lord, your focus and affections must be on Him and the responsibilities of the new life He has given you.

Matthew 6:19-23

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

I will tell you ‘how great is that darkness’. It is great and powerful enough to destroy our fellowship with the Father. God is Light and light has no fellowship with darkness. This broken fellowship leads to a harsh reality.

Isaiah 30:12-13

Wherefore, thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at aninstant.

Everything we have learned about God, in some cases, is being sifted through wantonness and self-preservation. Therefore, it is impossible to have that intimacy of relationship with God.

Matthew 6:24

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

John 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

These are the manifestations of walking in the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is the character of Christ. There is no power that can prevail against such fruit. It is powerful enough to conquer death. However, this is something you must come to believe the Father has given to you. It is necessary for me to minister these things because I do so by commandment.

1 Corinthians 2:12

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Because you have the Spirit of God living in you, I am sure you are able to comprehend these sayings. You understand this discourse, for the Spirit will always bear witness with the truth. You will be judged according to whether or not you accept this truth about the life of Christ, which God has given to you.

When a son, who is a spiritual creature, chooses to walk in pride, wantonness or arrogance, he loses his value to God and His people. He can no longer bring deliverance or work the ministry of reconciliation, because he is too consumed with preserving or protecting his feelings and desires. God can no longer trust him to reveal Christ to an enemy, because he is too preoccupied with his own image or reputation. This is the manifestation of broken fellowship - a son from whom the anointing or love of God does not flow. Saints, do not allow sin to break your fellowship with the Father. It is your power to live a life acceptable unto God in this world. Fellowship with God is your only true treasure. It is the only way you will glorify the Father on the earth. It is the only way to please Him. It is the only way to Heaven.
