The Kingdom of God

If we consider the ministry of Bible Teachers, it includes many facets of ministerial works and development, whether it is working within an auxiliary, teaching within a Global Training Center, Lifesavers Clinics, ministerial workshops, dance and drama of Bible Theater, participation in devotion, even the ministry of MSOG. If our central focus only resides in the natural preparation of rehearsals without the preparation of spiritual warfare, then we have missed the essential purpose of our calling. We become consumed in our performance and we lack the characteristics of Christ in which the Kingdom of God can dwell.

St.Matthew 12:22-28

22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

The casting out of devils or the healing of the sick is a representation of the power of a person’s ministry. When Jesus performed the miracles, the people witnessed these and were coming to a place of belief, yet the Pharisees sought to undermine Christ. Notice Jesus’ response to them: “ . . . Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” I must follow the politics of the Spirit in order to deal with my enemies. I must seek out a higher power than myself and also be in agreement with that higher power. The Pharisees, determined to destroy the testimony of the miracles, would say that it was Satan himself casting out demons. But the Lord speaking in truth stated that the devil would not work against himself to cast himself out of a person. The devil would not inhabit someone on one hand and then cast himself out of that same person on the other hand. If so, then he would defeat his own purpose. I must be in agreement with the will of God, since He is the only power that can cast out spirits. When Jesus cast the legion of demons out of a man [St.Mark 1:20]

They pleaded that they not be sent out of the country but cast into a nearby herd of swine. Jesus exercising His authority sent them into the swine. Yet the unclean spirits knew that there would be a time appointed when they would not just be cast out but tormented for eternity. JESUS CHRIST IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD WALKING IN A MAN. As a man, I cannot do anything in my flesh since I am under the leading of the Spirit and it is the Father’s work that is being fulfilled. Righteousness has already been laid out for what God will accept. Even Christ was under submission when He approached John at the river to be baptized, knowing that He must fulfill all righteousness. The Kingdom of God is come unto you. All the politics are in place. Christ established the reason why He was able to come to earth and open blind eyes, and heal the broken hearted. It was because the darkness had to acquiesce to the light. The devil is bound because of the relationship between the Father and His Sons. This is the power of agreement. When the Son is following the Father, then all the Sons will say “I can only do what I see the Father do.” We will see the power of the Kingdom of God. Jesus made a statement that if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God; it is because the Kingdom of God has come unto you. This is the hour of the Sons of God. We must hold fast to every word that the Father has said. Remember, He has given us a window inside of a window. Let us sanctify ourselves, that the Father will have fellowship with us.
