Fellowship With The Father

God has never and will never sacrifice righteousness because we walked in the Spirit at different times of our Christian walk. This does not guarantee us an automatic entrance into Heaven. God is faithful to reveal where we are and give us an opportunity to repent. But He will never lower His standard. Flesh is expendable and His righteousness will not be sacrificed because God never changes His requirement.

1 John 1:1-7

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

John made it clear that that which they have handled and seen in Jesus was the Word itself made manifest right before them. In other words, this was not just a vision or dream, but it was that life lived in their presence. Because of this, the apostles were able to declare that same life and admonished us that we too have the same fellowship, even though Christ is not physically here. John stated that they would not break fellowship with the Father just to have comrades with someone who walks in darkness. There is no way that in order to be reconciled with an individual we should choose to lose fellowship with God. It is impossible to walk with the Father when we have made a decision to fellowship, on occasion, with a little darkness. The scripture says “we lie and do not the truth.” The apostles always maintained fellowship with the Father. They told of what they had seen and handled of Him. It is this testimony that we walk in that will convince you to take on that same life. We are saved based on what we have seen of Jesus Christ and we have made a conscious decision to follow God at any cost.

St.Matthew 7:13-14

13. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Consider the 14th verse of the above scripture, “. . . strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” It is not because the narrow gate was hid that it could not be found, it is stated that way because they see the “strait gate” but made a decision to choose the “wide gate” because it was more appealing to the flesh and the love of the world. To walk in the ministry that the Father approves, we should first deal with the darkness that we have decided to hold on to. If there is any degree of lust in us, we are deceived in thinking that we can confront the devil on his turf and cast out something that still holds residence in us. The sin issue must be dealt with in me before I can achieve true ministry! Remember Satan will not cast out Satan because a kingdom divided against itself will not stand. There needs to be total abandonment of self in order to sacrifice our time and our way. How I feel should not be the driving force.
