Schools of Ministry

Schools of Ministry are one avenue of training, discipleship, study and “hands on” ministerial experience. These meetings may operate throughout year at any of our locations. Some of these meetings such as World Conference and School of the Prophets are set at specific times annually. The Apostle may call other meetings as directed by the Holy Spirit. Attendance by leaders to some of these conferences is mandatory. The following is an outline of the conferences that may be held at varying times.

World Conferences

Mary Banks Ministries hosts an annual seven-day World Conference during the summer held usually at the location of our headquarters. Delegates and students from churches and schools from all locations worldwide are in attendance. This annual outpouring from the Lord prepares every arm of this fellowship to function under the direction of the Spirit. Every BTI student is urged to attend as a delegate from his location as graduation procedures are held for those students having successfully completed courses at BTI Training and Resource Centers. Attendance is considered mandatory for leaders.

Schools of the Prophets

An annual school of ministry scheduled prior to Easter. This is a prophetic and directional gathering of Bible Teachers International apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, students and members. During this conference, the Holy Spirit gives vision and direction to the Chief Apostle for the upcoming year. Attendance is considered mandatory for all leaders.

Leadership Conferences

Leadership Conferences are scheduled after the School of the Prophets and are usually a continuation of the message that has been brought forth. These are intensive training and discipleship sessions. Ministers learn “how to” implement the message received at the School of the Prophets in their schools and churches to ensure the spiritual growth and development of the people.

Gathering of the Sons

These conferences are periodic gatherings of the sons of God, called by the Chief Apostle. All locations are notified in advance, in order to make preparation for attendance.

• Marriage Conferences

Marriage Renewal and restoration Conferences are scheduled at various times throughout the year in BTI locations internationally. Marital strongholds and the works of the enemy are exposed. This is a time of repentance, learning how to love, submission to the Word and reconciliation.

• Men’s Conferences

Men’s Conferences are scheduled throughout the year and all leaders and male members are urged to attend. This is a time of fellowship, coming together in the unity of the faith and warfare. Negative mindsets and unrighteous lifestyles are exposed so that deliverance and righteousness can prevail within the ranks of the male leadership. Having strong male examples of holiness, humility and strength in the Body of Christ are of great importance in the Ministry.

• Women’s Conferences

Women’s Conferences are scheduled throughout the year and all leaders and members are urged to attend. This is a time of fellowship, agreement, unity and intensive prayer and transmittal. The works of the enemy are exposed so that the handmaiden’s ministry can overcome suppression and women walk out in liberty and the anointing, as well as being examples of humility and holiness. • Single’s Conferences Single’s Conferences are scheduled at various times throughout the year for the unmarried to fellowship, strengthen and encourage one another and be trained to become vital members and holy examples for the Body in order to perform the work of the ministry.

• Youth Conferences

Youth Conferences are scheduled for the building up of our young people, including training, discipleship and identifying potential leaders and examples for the flock.

• Prophetic Conferences

Prophetic Conferences are open to all leaders, members and students. It is a time of prophetic utterance and the training up of those called into the Prophet’s ministry.

• Revivals

Mary Banks Ministries is an evangelistic ministry with an anointed International Evangelistic Team and specialty ministers that are accomplished in conducting revivals. Because it is the desire of the Lord that the Body speaks the same thing, we truly do not mix doctrines or messages. This Team is trained to minister powerfully to convict sin and compel men to worship the true and living God, whether in the streets or the church. These services are powerful outreach tools as they will not only “revive” and inspire the leaders and members of the church, but also to reach out to those in the community to draw other souls to Christ.

• Seminars Leaders

or other specialized ministers may conduct seminars on specific topics, for example “Sexual Abuse”. These gatherings have also been another dynamic method to bring deliverance to souls in bondage. Souls have been set free and mindsets have been changed even as the Word is taught during the sessions.

SENIOR PASTOR

The Senior Pastor has complete oversight, authority and responsibility over the location to which he/she is assigned. It is therefore crucial that he/she maintains a comprehensive view of all aspects of the Ministry, and completes the systematic reports required to assist and inform Headquarters of the spiritual and administrative needs of their location. The responsibilities here are specifically for MBM Global Conferences.

• Communicates monthly with the International Director regarding the current operations as well as any future development and support needed at the location. Will also communicate regarding scheduling of events and Ministerial Evaluations for each person assigned.

• Oversees the continued training and development of those ministers having met the required criteria and considered equipped to be chosen to become members of the International Apostolic Team from this entity.

• Submits specified Report required at designated times by Headquarters to the Deputy Director with the assistance of the Pastoral assistants regarding the development of people as well as the spiritual and administrative operations of the location..

• Communicates weekly with the administrator regarding the progress and support needed for local team both spiritually and administratively.

• Will ensure that regular shut-ins and transmittal are schedule for the continued growth and development of all members of the MBM Global Conferences Team.

• Meets monthly with the Administrator with regard to:

1. The spiritual growth of the team.

2. The operations of the Entity within the location.

3. The Administrative responsibilities of the team.

ASSISTANT PASTOR

The assistant pastor(s) have spiritual oversight of the specified area to which they are assigned within a location, and are responsibility for ensuring that those areas of are fully understand, developed and are working effectively to fulfill its purpose in the lives of the individuals assigned. It is therefore vital that they maintain a comprehensive overview of all aspects of that area of Ministry. The responsibilities here are specifically for MBM Global Conferences.

• Assists the Senior Pastor(s) in completing the specified Report required at designated times by Headquarters to the Bishop of Operations regarding the development of people as well as the spiritual and administrative operations of the location.

• Assists Senior Pastor(s) in the continued training and development of those ministers having met the required criteria and considered equipped to be chosen to become members of the International Ministerial Staff from this entity. Meets monthly with the Administrator and Coordinators with regard to:

1. Their spiritual growth and development.

2. The Administrative responsibilities of the team.

3. The operations of the Entity within the location.

• Ensures that the administrative training and development of the ministers are followed by the Administrator as set out in the Policy Manual with the assistance of the International Directors.
