THE VISION

It is essential that ‘The Vision’ be understood completely by those who will work within this Ministry. This will ensure that they do not lose focus, misinterpret or misunderstand any methods that may be used to bring them into the mind of Christ.

‘The Vision’ is God’s initial visitation with our Chief Apostle Dr. Banks and those things He inspired and instructed her to do.

INSTRUCTIONS

In 1984 The Lord appeared to Dr. Mary Banks and said to her:

“Just as I sent Moses to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt, I am sending you to my Church to bring them out of ignorance.”

• “I want you to set up a Teaching Ministry and call it Bible Talk.”
• “I want you to teach them My heart and mind and cause them to know Me.”
• “Mary Banks and Bible Talk will become a household name, and will be as visible as

McDonalds and Burger King.”

• “The influence of ‘The Word’ will start in Fort Lauderdale and will evolve into an

International Ministry.”

Her response was, “God you have given me an impossible task!” God had to work the vision in her first. HE did this by trying her heart to see if her motives for ministry were pure. HE dealt with her fears the same way He dealt with Moses.

God’s reply to her was:

“If you have the guts to say what I say, I will bless you, for I will go into the Churches and take their best and bring them to you and they will be the ones who you will train to be the workers of “The Vision.”

He instructed her to spend a number of days at the sanctuary in prayer and that she would see the membership triple. She did as the Lord had instructed and the Ministry tripled in number just as He said it would (from 35 to 105).

As the ministry grew, so did the problems, negative mindsets and dispositions. The need to establish a platform for the deliverance of those with these problems was evident.

Dr. Banks went back to God and HE reminded her of His promise to send her the best. She never lost sight of that, and set up a deliverance ministry, which was named “Lifesavers.” This aspect of the ministry would deal with all types of hurts, abuse, emotional pain, addictions and offer counseling that would aid in their deliverance.

• These were the same individuals who would be used to work “The Vision.”
• These were the individuals who would experience the deliverance power of God in their lives and would be able to encourage others.
• These were the individuals through whose lives the power of God would reflect first.

With regards to the Teaching Ministry God told Dr. Banks to:

• Teach His People How To Pray’ - in instructing His people to pray, He told her they could very well be saving her life with their prayers.
• ‘Teach Spiritual Warfare’ - the people would learn to fight in the spiritual realm (by total submission to Him). His people should learn to fight for their very souls first, then for the lives of others. Having learned that indeed the ‘heavens do rule’, the people began to do just as they were instructed.

Dr. Banks later went back to God for instructions on what to teach His people. He told her to teach “The Tabernacle” and in so doing His people would see Him and would learn His heart and mind toward them. Most importantly she was to:

• Lead by example.
• Teach the saints to walk in the Spirit.
• Perform the works of God just as Jesus and the Apostles did.

He instructed her to:

• Reform the church
• Tell His people that He had called them out of the traditions of men.
• Sanctify them to send them back into tradition to bring those remaining to the knowledge of Him.
• Bring the Body of Christ back into harmony with Him.

Just as The Father sent Jesus to Israel to show them the way, He is using Jesus Christ today to show the Church and the world the way to Himself.

As the pattern was given to Moses by God to build the Tabernacle, so has HE given Dr. Banks the pattern to build Him a building:

• A building NOT made by flesh, BUT by His Spirit.
• A Spiritual House - the materials being placed in the hands of skillful workers.
• A Spiritual House to develop the gifts He has placed in the lives of His sons – the same individuals He called HIS BEST.
• A body of perfected saints
• To edify the Body of Christ
• A body that stands in the UNITY OF THE FAITH.
• The building of the BODY built by the BODY
• A Body that would edify itself in love.
• The Body of Christ being built on the foundation of love by the operation of the Holy Ghost where THE BUILDER AND MAKER is GOD HIMSELF.

Today, years later, the Ministry continues to grow and the ‘VISION’ is being realized through the Growth Path, which is the organizational structure of the Ministry.
