All board presidents and officers are appointed to these positions for a one-year term, unless extended by the Senior Pastor, and are expected to submit in all areas to the counsel, guidelines and directives of Bible Teachers International.
1. The Chief Apostle - appoints the International members of the board.
2. The Senior Pastor - appoints the local members of the board.
THE INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT Is responsible for:
• Assisting the Senior Pastor in establishing the auxiliary boards.
• Informing the Senior Pastor, the International Vice President and the local presidents of new policies or changes in policies made by the Chief Apostle. Must also make those additions or changes to the auxiliary manuals and forward the changes to the locations.
• Training the International Vice President in the guidelines and policies stated in the auxiliary manual.
• Ensuring that the Board Presidents have a comprehensive understanding of their Manuals and the operations of the Auxiliary and are able to effectively minister it to the members of the board.
• Assisting the Senior Pastorate with the spiritual development of the local president.
• Overseeing the board’s spirituality on an international level, by periodically conducting transmittals, shut-ins and prayer sessions (in submission to the Senior Pastor).
• Overseeing the board’s responsibilities at all international functions: Send the local presidents a list of duties roster 2 weeks prior to the scheduled conference/ function.
Make certain to monitor the work performance of all MIAs to ensure that they are following the guidelines of the auxiliary manuals. Should also be on hand to meet with the local presidents should they have questions, concerns or suggestions concerning the board. • Maintaining contact with MBM Global Conferences prior to, as well as during conferences.
THE INTERNATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT
Will serve in submission to, as an extension of, and under the direction of the International President by:
• Assisting the President in the fulfillment of his/her duties.
• Assuming the duties and responsibilities of the President in his/her absence.
THE LOCAL PRESIDENT Is responsible for:
• Working in submission to the Senior Pastor and the International President.
• Training each member in the guidelines, policies and responsibilities stated in the auxiliary Manual. It is the responsibility of the president to ensure that each auxiliary member has a thorough understanding of their natural and spiritual responsibilities as an MIA.
• Assisting the Senior Pastorate with the spiritual development of each auxiliary member by conducting shut-ins, transmittals and prayer sessions regularly as stated in the auxiliary manual.
• Approving all financial expenditures of the board. THE LOCAL VICE PRESIDENT Will serve in submission to, as an extension of, and under the direction of the Local President by:
• Assisting the President in the fulfillment of his/her duties.
• Assuming the duties and responsibilities of the President in his/her absence.
THE SECRETARY Is responsible for:
• Working in submission to the Senior Pastor, the President and the Vice President of the auxiliary.
• Recording and keeping copies of minutes for meetings and the attendance of each member.
• Keeping records of materials that pertain to the auxiliary.
• Maintaining contact with and communicating information to each member of the board.
THE TREASURER Is responsible for:
• Working in submission to the Senior Pastor, the President and the Vice President of the auxiliary.
• Overseeing the financial matters that pertain to the auxiliary. All expenditures must be authorized by the president.
Keep proper and complete records of all dues.
Keep accurate account of all funds spent and the purpose for each expenditure.
• Ensuring that the supply kits are properly stocked by purchasing items as needed.
