God Led You Here

As we embark on this day, let us continue to examine our attitude towards our trials. It's not uncommon for people to be taken aback by the challenges that arise even when they are living a holy life. While trials are often associated with chastening for wrongdoing, what about those who live righteously? Let’s seek insight from Psalm 37:23.

Psalm 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

The steps of a righteous person are ordered, guided by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 reaffirms this, stating that the Spirit of God leads the children of God. When we are led by the Spirit of God, we find delight in the path He has set before us. We must examine whether this is our experience. Are we truly delighted when we face trials? or do we frustratedly question why God would allow these challenges to happen? Oftentimes, the latter response arises because we have not fully embraced the truth that our footsteps are ordered by God, and have forgotten that He allows these things for our good. Restore your trust in God, and you will find peace in the wildest of storms.
