Day 3: A TRIAL WHAT SHOULD I DO?

2 CORINTHIANS 10:5

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against

the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

As you go along, I want you to be conscious of what you are learning about God, the devil and yourself. Whenever you come to a situation, always ask

yourself these questions and examine the answers: God: What is He doing? Where is He in this situation? What is He trying to build in me? What does His Word say?Devil: What is his agenda? What is he trying to achieve? You: What are you truly feeling in your heart? How does the agenda of God and of the devil affect you? If you analyze the situations you endure, you will always be able to clearly see the parties involved. You will now be able to make a confident decision to obey God and know that you will grow in whatever He wanted you to grow in. The devil’s plan for that trial will be spoiled. If you ask yourself these questions and respond in a godly manner this will allow you to extract wisdom from these situations because you would have discerned them effectively. So, what are you going through now?

Reflect about something you are currently going through. Then journal:

1. What the devil wants you to do

2. How God wants you to feel

3. Your response to the two

God you are so good to me. You have allowed me to discern you in every situation. It is my desire to grow in wisdom as I daily learn more about you. Help me to be keen to your desires and to never allow myself to give over to the enemy. Thank you for your faithfulness. Amen
