DAY 2 YOUR WORD IS TRUTH

NUMBERS 23:19

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should

repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Did God keep you yesterday? Hopefully your answer is yes. The point of these writings is to teach you how to discern God as well as the enemy. One of the things that causes people to miss God is that He says exactly what He means. Sometimes what He means seems to us to be so impossible that we try to put a spin on it so that we can agree

that what He said is actually the truth... Then we will try to perform it.

However, it is not strange for God to speak and have only one or two persons believe Him. The trick to it is that we should believe Him even if it doesn’t make sense to us at first. This is the whole point of faith. Example: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. - Matthew 5:48 Now is this a statement you easily accept? Some will accept this theoretically, but that’s not what I want you to do. I want you to examine this statement in light of the things you do and go through daily. Do you see, in your life, the evidence of that statement? That was a trick question because even if you do not see the evidence of perfection it does not mean that it is not true that you have a perfect (sinless) nature. Simply believe it. This is a reality you will be tried in, for the rest of your life.

You must actually manifest perfection in order to make it to heaven. You manifest perfection by choosing to obey God in all things. So, do you believe God can be perfect through

you or, will you believe the carnal thoughts of the devil? Believe God today.

ACTIVITY:

Journal the things (if there are any) that God has said about you but you have a hard time believing. Take them to Him in prayer, and as He answers, find scriptures to support His responses.

Thank you, Lord, for always being kind and gracious toward me. Today I choose to believe all that you have said about me. I ask you however, to always keep my heart in love

with the truth – no matter what it is. I know that you cannot lie, so I trust you with my life. I love you. Amen
