Present Truth

What is happening in the Body of Christ right now? Recently the Lord told me,“If you are holy, then what are you walking in now? Is not a walk of holiness the ministry Jesus walked in? What are you waiting for?”

In understanding what the Lord is saying it will remove all the excuses and anxieties. But let us not be naive about what is truly happening here.

We are in a season of reformation. The Lord is pruning and refining his heritage. He has, (by the unrelentless preaching of the gospel) begun an exaltation of the true sons of Gods. They are those who truly purpose in their hearts to please him through obedience to his Word.

God is not speaking your language, He is speaking the language of the Kingdom. It is not defined by the beggarly elements of this world. He is not mindful of any wantonness for the things of this world. It has no hint of lust or strife, envy or malice. It is purely the will of God. He is using his latter day apostles to preach the same gospel Paul, Peter, James and all the other apostles preached. It will do now what it did back then. It will bring about a separation of the saint and sinner, vessels of honor and those of dishonor.

There are those who are already beginning to view and even feel the separation. They are beginning to feel alienated from the Body, even within their local churches. They know that they have not embraced the present truth, but are beginning to see a difference in those who have embraced it. Their friends and even some family members are moving on spiritually but they seem to be stuck, doing the same old things, fighting the same old battles, and wrestling with the same old struggles.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Both leaders and the sons of God at large must reckon with the passage above. Why is it that the light of the gospel does not project the image of Christ in your heart and mind? What is it that the preaching of the mystery of Christ reveals to you? Why are you unable to see that the very purpose of the Father is for you to be conformed to the very image of Christ Jesus? What carnal meanings have you placed on these truths? Why can you not see the truth?

According to the passage above, these truths can only be hidden from those who believe not the preaching of truth. This judgment of the Father is just, because the power of the Holy Ghost within bears witness of such truths.

Hebrews 12:25

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh

from heaven:

God’s words are spiritual. They are from our Father in Heaven and they are full off his purpose.

This word is sent to make sons, who are the express image of Christ. Do you not see that? Or rather, what part of Christ did the Father intend to be omitted from the begetting of his sons? What part of ‘Christ are we not supposed to manifest?

Again, why can you not see these truths? You do not believe the preaching of the gospel. Nor do you believe the witness of the Holy Ghost in your inner man. How can you escape the damnation appointed to unbelievers?

Hebrews 12:26-27

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

This word coming forth from the heavens will and is shaking the Body of Christ. All who hear it must give an account for their response to it.

This word signifies the removal of those who are shaken, and the establishing of those who cannot be shaken, that they might remain in the service of the Lord. All else is vanity, seeking vainglory. If you cannot discern the truth, then it is due to iniquity, unbelief, or pride. It could be a combination of all of the above. Many sons will perish with the unbelievers. But this does not have to be you. Humble yourself before the hand of God and repent for your stubbornness and rebellion. Own it.

You are not unique to God. He has dealt with many like you. He knows what you think and why you think it. All of that is of no significance to him. He is dealing with the fact that he is talking to you through the preaching of the truth, and you will not receive it. That is all that matters. Those are the facts as God sees them. And these facts exclude everyone else and their deeds in your life. They are of no consequence.

God is preaching and teaching the sheep and the sheep know and hear his voice. Circumstances, situations and relationships of their past are also irrelevant as it relates to what he is doing right now in the Body. Your past is ineffectual in the face of truth when you receive it.
