Praying For The Holy Ghost

Acts 8:14-17

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

It should be your heart to want to see everyone filled with the Spirit of God. However, consider the following passage; 1 Timothy 5:22

Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure. In the purity of your own heart, you can discern when a soul is ready to receive the Lord.

If you are faithful in your fellowship with God and man, you will be led by the Spirit to pray for others to be filled with the Holy Ghost. The key factor here is that we walk in the Spirit. It is only then that we will know the mind of the Spirit of God in any situation.
