Loyalty

Let us define loyalty.

Some of the synonyms that are constantly used to reflect loyalty are:

• Faithfulness: authenticity, realism, accuracy and truthfulness
• Constancy: Steadiness and firmness
• Reliability: Consistency
• Dependability
• Fidelity: Attachment, dedication,
• Allegiance: adherence; commitment
• Fidelity: Trustworthiness

Loyalty is not only manifested in physical actions but in thoughts and verbal expression as well. It causes one to become identified and unified with the source, thereby providing strength in the working of the vision.

However, flesh will seek to disassociate itself with anything it does not fully understand or is unable to supply the faith needed to follow. Oftentimes, the character of under-shepherds is tested in that the Father will not reveal the entire contents of the obstacles on a particular route until there is nothing you can do about what may seem to be impending peril.

Just as with Moses, this is a trying of your faith. It is also an opportunity for God to vindicate those He has chosen.

The Red Sea is a good place to be. It is a place of helplessness regarding the flesh. But it is also a place of derision regarding the thoughts of the mind. For sure it was God who brought us out of bondage and tradition. But standing here giving all our monetary substance to a desert ministry is beginning to make tradition not look so bad after all.

But the hollowed Sons of BTI do not scream, “Take us back to tradition,” they simply convince themselves that they will be in this wilderness the rest of their days so let us settle into this place cushioning our beds with the ways and thoughts of Egypt. The “I never would have done this or I would have never done that,” begin to echo in the midst of the “Why are we doing this or why are we doing that?

Consider the following truths. You are here because you love the ministry and you have clung to the hope of the salvation that it has promised. It has indeed saved you from the humdrum church routine and has given you a vision of the reality of serving the Father in truth and in power. The vision is vast and indeed capable of making room for your gift. But these things you know.

Why did the Father who loves His people so much, lead you into the truth and then abandon you to a fruitless lie? Who is this unfaithful God you serve? Where are His promises of global evangelism? Where are the foreign nationals we are to affect and train for ministry? When will the other nations be visited and when will Dr. Banks take her place among the Tele-evangelistic stars and become approved and respected by the powers that be in the religious community?

But the Lord has a question of His own, as well as an answer

Who is worthy to walk in the glory of my anointing? Who has committed to the life of a suffering servant without guile, envy or strife? Where are the ones who have forsaken all to serve Me? The call of my servant is a call to holiness and spiritual power. I have given her the power to affect nations with the truth. But I will fulfill my promise to her and exalt the truth I have given. Commitment to my purpose is not a hope of stardom but an unselfish desire to set at liberty those who are bound by the shackles of traditions and the doctrines of men.

Tribulation is purposed to work patience.

Hebrews 10:36-39

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

In the midst of adversity you have lost what you know to be the truth. Thus you have lost sight of the vision …but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; (Romans 5:3).
