Day 5: Arm Yourself

📖 1 Peter 4:2 – “That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.” 👉 Reflection: What area of my life is still more influenced by my own desires than by God’s will?

🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me to live the rest of my time for You alone. Teach me to surrender my desires daily and walk in obedience to Your will.

Peter reminds us that life is short, and our time on earth is not our own. Since Christ suffered to free us from sin, we are called to spend the rest of our days living for God’s will—not for selfish desires or worldly lusts.

This means daily choices: choosing purity over compromise, forgiveness over bitterness, humility over pride, service over selfishness. When we live with eternity in view, even our suffering takes on meaning, because it shows that our lives are aligned with Christ’s purpose.
