Like it and share it. Glory to God. All right. Praise the Lord. Tonight, we're going to talk about preaching the gospel. Preaching the gospel. This is something that the Lord gave me some time ago. um a few days ago he gave 2:12 this this to me to minister because as as leaders saints one of the reasons I'm doing this too is because as leaders we need to be discipled leaders need to be discipled I was discipled I had the honor and the privilege of being discipled by Jesus Christ I was actually discipled by him I grew up with Bible teaching teachers, the membership here at Bible teachers. And I came out of tradition. I came out of traditional ministry. Bless the 2:42 Lord. And so the things that I know now and the things that I am challenged, you know, that I challenge myself in now, I didn't back then when I was in tradition. And I didn't really regard how crucial they were to my salvation. But because Jesus discipled me and made sure that I understood what it took to get to heaven. Glory to God. What it takes to be in that rapture. If we're here during the rapture, glory to 3:12 God. These are the things. These are these little spot foxes that he say spoil the vine. Many times they're not discussed in church, right? We're ne we're never discipled into them. I remember when Jesus was with his disciples and they would say certain things in his presence and he said to them at one point, "You don't even know what spirit you're in." Well, that was true of a lot of us. We were in church for a long time, 3:42 a lot of years, and we walked around in certain spirits or certain attitudes or dispositions that we didn't even realize that we were being used by Satan. We were being used by the enemy. We didn't even consider that. We didn't even consider that we could actually be used by Satan. So, uh, that was because of a lack of disciplehip. And so, when the Lord called me out of tradition, the Lord said, "I'm going to teach you my word." 4:13 And along the way, growing up with my members, I made so many mistakes. So many mistakes. I could write a whole gallery of books on the mistakes that I made in ministry coming up. Well, uh, 40 years later in this ministry, because I was I was in in in ministry, you know, uh, several years before Bible teachers. Amen. Over 10, 12 years before Bible teachers, maybe even 15 before Bible teachers. But, but coming into Bible teachers and being 4:43 here for the last 40 years, growing up, and having having the Lord challenged me, the Lord saying, "Wait a minute, that's that's not my mind. Wait a minute. That's what disposition are you in? Wait a minute. What do you do? You hear yourself? You know, Jesus actually trained me in ministry. And I have been given a mandate. I can't speak for anyone else, but I have been given a mandate in these last days to disciple the ministers that 5:13 that that have been raised up in this ministry. This is a I don't know if this is going to be the last time around for me, but God is saying, disciple th that which I have given you. Perfect that which I have given you. And that's what disciplehip is all about. Perfecting that which has been given to us. Amen. Perfecting it for ministry. Cutting away all those things that awaits and and so easily beset us so that we 5:43 cannot be that that presentation of Christ. Not a representative but a presentation of Jesus Christ to the world and to the rest of the church. Glory to God. So, we're we're dealing with a topic today. Preaching the gossip. Amen. Preaching the gossip. Okay. And so, Daniel, um, what does that mean to you as far as gossip? What what is what is gossip? Well, I knew you were going to ask me that. Um, I want to take it from 6:13 just a a layman's definition. Okay. um just even just a natural definition. Some of you may have used this in your vocabulary. You may have said that something is gossip or you may have even been told that you're a gossiper. Um but never really defined, you know. So um a very interesting definition I found. It's gossip is casual or unrestrained conversation or reports about other people. That's important. It's always about other people. Always. All right. typically involving details 6:43 that are not confirmed to be true, right? So that's what gossip is. And it reminds me of a rumor, right? A rumor is also not confirmed to be true. Exactly. Right. And and speaking about rumors spreads gossip as well, you know. So yeah, that's I think that's a that's a good starting definition. Mhm. Um in involving or engaging in casual conversation about things that are not not um confirmed as being true. And I I think that's an important 7:14 part as well because as ministers as ministers a part of what the dynamic of being a minister is is that people will come to you about matters. Right? We see this even in the life of Moses. Moses sat and the whole of Israel came to him because God had set Moses as their leader and as their judge. And so they would come to him and he would judge between right and wrong, good and evil. And so people still 7:44 will come to their leaders, you know, about things. Mhm. But there has to be carefulness and wisdom exercised because sometimes I have seen and I have done this where I have ran with something that I've heard, something that was told to me that was not necessarily confirmed to be true. That's what I want to go into tonight. Um, disciplehip should reflect on scripture. Yes. Okay. And things must be confirmed by scripture. And so I want to I want 8:14 to um share a scripture with you. Um let's see if you can find it, Dan. It talks about out of the mouth of two or more witnesses, every word should be established. I want to I want us to read that scripture, give its location so that that can be our uh cornerstone tonight. Sure. Okay. It is in 2 Corinthians 2 Corinthians 13 verse 1. Right. 2 Corinthians 13 and verse one. What does it say? It says Paul. This 8:44 is the third time I am coming to you. Okay. Right. In the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established. I told you before and I foretell you as if I were present. the second time and being absent now to them which here to for have sinned and to all other that if I come again I will not spare. Okay. Okay. Praise the Lord. All right. Out of the mouth of two or more witnesses every 9:14 word shall be established. Because now Paul had heard some things, right? He had heard some things. uh he had been and in fact the family of Chloe sent him uh reports and about things that were happening in the church and and apparently those things according to this had must have been confirmed. Right. Amen. And um so I I want to use that as our cornerstone because I want to deal with an operation in the church that many ministers 9:44 are are actually guilty of. And I was one of those ministers that was guilty of this. And I want to make sure that we we hear what God is saying and we and we take heed to it and we embrace it because we can either build a a a church or we can tear a church down. One of one or the other. And so what I want to talk about is is what you just mentioned. I want to 10:15 set the set the stage for this particular operation. Okay. And it's this is I want you to really be attentive here and I want if you have a question please feel free to ask it. Okay. This is something that we were I was instructed to minister. Okay. This is one of the things that that that in my upbringing in in the church and in in in my tenure here in Bible teachers I was very guilty of. I was 10:45 very guilty of this. And uh in my zealousness, I was I was zealous for the gospel sake, but I was in error, right? You know, zeal does not excuse wrong. Okay? And so I I understand all sides of this because I was guilty of it for many years. Glory to God. Until God says, "Look, you got to stop this. You got you got to stop it." Okay? And so I I want to deal with the fact that let 11:15 let us let me create a scenario. you you may be a minister. Okay, let's say that um okay, I use myself, Dr. Banks. I'm Dr. Banks. But now Daniel, Daniel is just a a member in the church. He's not a bishop. He's just a member in the in the church. And then we've got Charmaine over there. She's a member in the church, right? and the two of you get into a beef of some type, some type of disagreement 11:45 or some type of situation where where now um you get offended, right? Okay. You're offended by her. Glory to God. And and um now you come to me. I I may you know, well, I'm Dr. Banks, right? So you you you and I have a relationship, right? So you feel free to come to me and share you know your heart with me. And when you come to share your heart with me, it it is you're going to tell 12:15 me about this situation, right? You're going to tell me about it. You're going to tell me what happened because you're offended now. You're offended or you're hurt. You're hurt by it or you're offended by it or whatever. And so you tell me the situation and I I'm like, "Wow." Yeah. You know, and I'm thinking, boy, Charmaine did that, you know, and and now I'm looking at that from a spiritual perspective. I' because that's what that's what preachers are 12:45 supposed to do anyway, right? We're supposed to look at things from a spiritual perspective. And so now in in looking at it from a spiritual perspective, when you look at something from a spiritual pers perspective, you're looking at it to judge it, right? That's why you look at it spiritually. You're looking at it spiritually to judge that situation. Right now, when I look at it and I judge it, I'm going to see the right, the wrong, and I'm 13:16 going to see where God is in it. What does his word say about that? And and whatever. And then I come up with, man, that's she was just wrong. That was just wrong. Okay. And so now, but I'm going to run with that. I'm And where am I running? I'm not running to her. I'm running to the pull pit, right? I'm running to the pull pit and and I'm going to preach that basically that situation. I may not 13:46 call any names, but I'm going to preach that saints. I have been guilty of this. And so, I know how impactful it is. I know the damage it does. So you you guys out there that that are ministers, you you've been ministering, maybe been ministering a lot of years, you got to judge whether you do this or not. Okay? And so I you I come to the pull pit and now I'm preaching the the the spirituality of that 14:16 situation. I'm I'm preaching the spirituality. I'm not calling names and I'm not even citing the issues themselves, you know, not not naming the issues, but I'm I'm doing enough to where she knows the situation I'm talking about. You know the situation I'm talking about. And if anybody was close around that in that proximity of it, may Oh, he's she's preaching about Charmaine and and Daniel. I was there when they had that thing. Oh, I heard that. Da da. 14:46 Okay. But I'm minister and I'm giving my I'm giving my spiritual um revelation on it. I'm I'm I'm putting it out there right now. Is that wrong or is that right? What Okay. If if it's wrong, then what's wrong with it? I judge the situation, right? I judge the situation and I came up with righteousness. I see righteousness and I see unrighteousness. Right? The problem with with with with the whole situation is I am judging righteousness and unrighteousness 15:16 based upon what you said. I don't know the I don't I don't know. I don't really know. I I'm trusting that what you said to me was in was the entire situation. Now watch this and I want I want us to be careful because the enemy is is shrewd here. The enemy is very shrewd because let's look at this. Supposing you told everything you said to me was the truth. I can't I can't find anything that you said 15:46 was actually a lie. What you said was the truth. But there was couple of things you left out. Mhm. Okay. There's a couple of things that you left out that might have put a different color on the situation. Right. All right. So now when that happens, what's what's going on now? What what what when that happens? Everything that you said becomes a lie. Wow. Everything becomes a lie. Even though there were truths in what you said, but because 16:17 you left out some things, it is not the truth. There are some truths in what you said, but you you deliberately left out some things that would have put her in a better light. Now, what have you done? You have misled me. Yes, you have misled me. Now, is that your fault? It was deliberate on your part. But I got to blame myself because Amen. Because I I'm I'm not a novice and I know the discerning and I 16:47 know our base scripture. Right. I know the base scripture that we just read tonight. What does the base scripture say? The base scripture says, "Out of the mouth of two or more witnesses, every word shall be established." it shall be established. So I don't do that. I don't do that. Let's point out some of the things that's wrong with this. I don't I don't make sure that what you told me is confirmed right by witness that she doesn't 17:17 even have to be the witness. Somebody else could have been right there and and confirmed the whole matter. Okay. All right. Now, but still, is there anything else that may be a little wrong with that? Let me let me let me go here because I know I I've I've when I look at the way I used to do this, I look at the fact that when I'm when I'm ministering from something I'm told, okay? When I'm just ministering 17:47 from something I'm told and I'm not listening to the Holy Spirit, I'm running with what an individual came and told me and I'm running with that. Right? The first thing is look at who I am. I am the I am I am a a leader that is a that is situated above you know in the in the in the governance of the ministry. I'm in the top tier of the government of the ministry. So now what I've done 18:17 now when when Charmaine hears my message I have robbed her of a voice. She has no voice in it because and she is sitting there saying how I have she knows wow do you know she feels judged now she's judged she's already been judged you don't get no higher in the ministry than Dr. Thanks. Right. Cuz I'm at the top tier of the ministry and Doc has already concluded that she's wrong. I haven't even heard her. I have 18:47 I don't even know her. I don't even know where she I didn't even take the time. If if if it was that serious if it was that serious, why didn't I take the time to to talk with her, right? And hear her. Or if it was if if and then too, all right, let's go here. How does it affect everybody else in the congregation? because they don't even know that. Let's say 90% of the people don't even know 19:18 the situation and and I'm ministering something that may not be a problem in the congregation because there are some things that that that situations that that can come up like this this situation could come up and and and a lot of people could be in the same condition. They could be in the same situation. So that warrants ministering to the whole body. But supposing that's not true. Supposing supposing you know none most of the people are not there. 19:48 So but they've got to sit through my analysis. They got to sit through my judgment. They got to sit through my biased message. They got to sit through that. Saints, let me tell you that is not the way the gospel is supposed to be preached. That's preaching gossip. That's not preaching the gospel. Amen. I like I said I was guilty of that and I saw the impact of it. I saw the impact of it. I saw how it 20:18 affected the people. I saw how it affected the person because now I've made her the victim. I've made her a victim because now she's sitting in a ministry where she I have robbed her of her her voice and she's sitting in a ministry where her leader doesn't even respect her enough to give her a voice. M you know didn't didn't didn't respect her enough to say hey you know what's your you know there's something that there's something that 20:48 that we need we need to sit down and talk about you know Daniel came to me and and and and he shared that you and him had a little disagreement or whatever you know and just sit down and talk with her and find out where she is in anything and then minister to her it didn't even have to come to the to the to the church that did I didn't have to bring it before the church are you 21:18 are you with Are you are you are you guys with me? Praise the Lord. Amen. I didn't have to bring it to the church. I could have just gone to her and made sure made sure that I got I hear what you're saying and I hear what said. Now that I've dealt with both parties, now I can do righteous judgment. I'm no longer dealing with one side of the story. I'm I'm I've heard your heart. I've heard his 21:48 heart. And it would be good if we all three of us would was sitting down together and if it took that to to to work it out or to just point you to God, point him to God and y'all y'all work it out, you know. Um but we have to be very careful because we are in leadership. This is leaders leaders being discipled. This is what Jesus did. Jesus said to his disciples, you don't even know what spirit 22:19 you're in. See, we got to know what spirit we're in. We got to know uh I just taught this lesson. I'm piggybacking off of the last lesson that I taught to uh in disciplehip was passiondriven leaders, right? And see, I I could have a an affection for Daniel or I could I he could have been he could have gone through some things, some negative things and and and I could be very compassionate toward him because I know his 22:49 struggles. I know, you know, and or maybe he feels that, you know, he'll never overcome his past or or something like that. And so I'm I'm compassionate toward him. That still does not excuse my actions in it. Okay? Because my actions are supposed to be one of leadership. And this is what I want every one of you leaders to to comprehend. We are always leaders. And what we do matter. It matters. It matters what we do and how 23:19 we do it. It matters how we do it because the perception of Christianity is in our we're the stewards of the of the mystery of Christ. And so we're creating a perception of the church in everything that we do. And so God chastised me, I mean severely severely about this. And I started looking at this and then uh not long ago I started looking at myself and I said now do you still do that? Are you still doing 23:49 that? You got to make sure you're not you're not doing that. You know, you give people the benefit. Give them the benefit of the of the doubt. Give them the give them the voice. Give them the opportunity. Give them the respect. You know, and so God I I heard Apostle Mike say that that this is we're so close to the end times and God is tweaking us. He's taking those mistakes that we made over the years and he's 24:19 saying, "I I need to tweak this. I need to tweet this because I still see some residue." Amen. So, I'm saying to any of you any of you, let us let us make sure we don't um I I I don't want to say that we're deliberately trying to weaponize the pull pit, but Satan can make can can actually make that a weapon. He can make it a weapon. Amen. And I I I thank God because we got God 24:49 is blessing me so much tonight. Amen. We got Apostle Mike is here. Glory to God. Amen. And and it is ready. Are you Do you want to chime in on this, Apostle? Okay. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Um earlier we was having a conversation today. Can you turn me up a little bit? Um earlier we was having a conversation today about repentance. Okay. And when a person repent, their mind changed. Yes. Not just about that circumstance or that situation 25:20 that they were found in wrong, but their mind, their perspective about things change when they repent. Right? We see this with Paul. When Paula um had his encounter with Christ on the way to Damascus, Paul mind even before salvation, his mind changed about his perspective on on Christians. And so there's a repentance that is taking place in the ministry in the ministry throughout all of leadership, you know, all of leadership when the the reason why we have the 25:50 scenario you just mentioned, the reason why we have this scenario and and I I have to say this and I say this humbly. I say this humbly. We as leaders and and and the heads or whatever, we set a precedence doing this that others now do this, right? So So we we we admit to that. We're not going to harp there, but but but I don't want you to feel like those of you that are listening, I don't 26:20 want you to feel like we're alleviating when we have been guilty of it, right? You know, no, we're not doing that. we own that that we've set that precedence in our learning right in in you know in our spiritual immaturity you know we we could have been passionate as as apostle says we could have been passionate and and we saw something that we felt needed dealing with and we dealt with it in that manner right and there were 26:50 times when even that manner was necessary this this is important that that that that the directness of that manner was necessary you know, but God expects us to grow and evolve, right? And so, as we grow and evolve, the thing that the Lord is keeping before me for leaders, all of this, what mom just mentioned would be alleviated if people would just get up and teach from the Bible and get and sit down. If you if you stop 27:20 all of this commentary and just talking about stuff talk because what it does is it opens the door now for your biasness. It opens the door for your opinion of circumstances and situations. Just read from the Bible. Teach the Bible and go home. You know, I'm so serious. Just teach the Bible. Teach the gospel and go home. The pullpit is a place of teaching, right? It's a place of teaching the Bible. And so we own, you know, when 27:50 where we have may have set that precedence cuz mom is not alone inside of that. I've I've done that or whatever to the point that when we're not doing that, you think we're doing that, right? That's right. That's what I got up to say. Yeah. Yeah. When we're not doing that, you think that that's what we're doing, right? Right. That's that is real, Mike. That's real. You know, and and so so yeah, we will we will take our 28:21 medicine and say, "Yeah, we we had our era inside of that." And yeah, it may have set a precedence where now people think that that's the standard to just get up and just talk. Just get up and talk. And so if I'm getting up and I'm talking, guess what I'm going to talk about? The first thing that come to my mind, you know, and so if I had a a a altercation with Daniel, guess what? I'm going to 28:51 talk about that altercation. that altercation, you know, when I should simply read the Bible. And what you're going to do, Mike, you're going to spend a lot of time trying to spiritualize it. Exactly. I I should simply read the Bible and from my study allow God to give me what to teach and preach and and beyond that don't go any further and sit down, you know. But we have too much. It's it's it's um and and when when 29:21 I I started out saying this and and God is God is teaching me how to set up things better. I started out saying repentance. Uhhuh. Right. Uhhuh. Right. And so one of the things that I that is a vexation to me, one of the things that is a vexation to me is when a person get up and they read the Bible five minutes sometimes 10 seconds and then they talk 30 minutes 30 minutes and and so so if 29:51 I'm just now tuning in I don't know what the actual subject matter based on biblical reference is I don't know, you know, and so what happens is once again at the and I want us to go to to a chapter in the in the book in 2 Corinthians 10. Is that okay? 2 Corinthians 10 and the sec second verse. I want us to go there because Paul had this same issue as well, right, with the Corinthian church. That's 30:21 right. Now, mom said something and see this is why we have to we have to deal with both sides of this. If mom get up and she began to teach the unrighteousness of men wearing dresses, it wouldn't bother me at all. If if she just started talking about men should not wear anything pertaining to a woman and vice versa, that wouldn't bother me at all. But if I'm unrighteous in something, that's when it bothers me. Even if if 30:51 if she's ministering on a scenario that that that I can see the similarities that I've been in, if I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I'm not unrighteous in it, that wouldn't bother you. Know the only time that that would bother me? When I've put her in a place where God should be. Right. That's the only time that that will bother me. Oh, I Oh, oh, my leader don't understand me. Oh, my leader has missed me. 31:22 Oh, my leader. And now I'm saying my leader is preaching on me. My leader, my leader, why am I so disgruntled if I know that my heart before God is pure? Mhm. I know that. I like if if if you tell me if you preach a message saying men that lie to their wives, right? And and you lied this way and you do and and and let's say right before you minister that you came out the room with 31:52 Jessica and you're preaching on that. If I know I'm not guilty of that, right? It doesn't matter. It don't matter. I can Amen. I don't have to see this is I just believe this. This is what God this is that ground that God is digging up and saying, "But if if your leader do misunderstand you, but you know you're honorable before me, why are you so disqued in your spirit?" That's right. That's the question you got to answer. 32:22 If you indeed worship me, if your worship is unto me, cuz cuz we as leaders, we are fallible. We, you know, we we we make mistakes in our judgment, you know. But if you know you holy and pure and you fall out because of a misunderstanding, you know, then it was still something in that, right, that God is addressing in you. It's is that's true. It's still something in that that God is addressing in you. But I do 32:52 want to read sex. Um you there mom, will you read it? Uhuh. As second Corinthians 10 and2 says, "But I beseech you that I may not be bold when I am present with that with that confidence wherewith I think to be bold against some which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh." Some that's you see what he said which which I think to be bold. People think that I'm bold because they think that we're 33:22 walking according to the flesh. And that's why it says that when we set that precedence or whatever, now people think that every time they hear a scenario that that's what we're doing. We're walking according to the flesh. Oh, he must have heard something. Oh, oh, oh, she must have heard something. Read, Apostle. But though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. We don't war after the flesh. I believe I believe I could speak 33:53 for the top leadership. I believe that we've come to a place where we where we we're not fighting spir a spiritual deficiency or a spiritual ailment in the people of God according to our flesh. Right? Look at how Paul doubled down and and talks about this. He said, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal." They're not carnal. You know what I mean? The weapons of our warfare is not based on what our carnal ears heard. That's 34:23 right. What our eyes our carnal eyes see or or the carnal mind has has, you know, depicted of of a situation. No, it's not that. And I thank you, Paul, for that. Because people need to know that that that when a when a leader is walking in the spirit, they can deal with a natural situation from a position of the spirit. That's right. You know, and and it shouldn't be automatically assumed that, oh, he heard something, she saw 34:53 something, or she misunderstood something, because that's assuming that the weapons of our warfare are carnal, but they're mighty what? Mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. They're mighty through God to the pulling down of what? Strongholds. Strongholds. There are mindsets. And that's another thing, Apostle. That's another thing. If I'm offended when the message go forth, that thing that may be being offended is that stronghold in me that God is saying, but yeah, I'm addressing that. Remember 35:23 recently I I ministered I said I was telling a person um what did I say? And God say you too. Oh yeah. Stubborn. I told the person that they were stubborn. You will. And while I was telling the person that the Holy Spirit say you too. Now that was a stronghold in me and in the person. Got to get it in. That was a stronghold that in other words that was something that was fortified a mindset that mindset 35:53 that grew up with with with us you know that God is addressing. But then he doubles back and say you too. You know, but that's that's because the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God. It's God addressing these things. It's God addressing these mindsets. And we have to be careful when God addresses a person's mindset that we don't coddle that person because you could coddle a person right into hell, right? And and make people believe. Not talking 36:23 about tonight's message, okay? I'm not talking about tonight's message. I'm talking about when God rebuke a person. Right? Maybe you not privy to what God is saying to that person in their heart. Right? That's real. Maybe you not privy. That's why the Bible says, "Judge nothing before the time until the Lord come." Right? Who will make manifest the counselss of the heart. The heart. God reserved that for himself, you know. But anyway, I wanted I wanted to go 36:54 here, Mike. Um, I think that with with all of us as leaders, I think what God is trying to bring us to is spiritual integrity. Absolutely. That's we as leaders have to have spiritual integrity because there's when we're dealing with a congregation of people, there are different degrees of spirituality in that congregation. There are babes all the way to maturity. And so we have to when we're dealing as leaders, God wants to make sure that we are are 37:24 ministering inside of integrity so that we can be trusted by every member of the congregation because someone may be may not be as matured and now it bothers them that okay I'm I'm in a church but oh they think I'm like this they think I'm like that and so they they they now the devil going that's the devil's playground. Now the mind has become his playground and now he can tell that person some of everything and that person 37:54 could just get up and leave the ministry that they really need it right. They really needed that ministry but they were not matured enough. They were not matured enough to to just wait a minute now. You know I know I was right in the situation because let me let's go here. I have I came up in in tradition and tradition was topheavy. This these are things that tradition did I mean on a daily basis. This there was nothing 38:24 there and it wasn't hidden. It wasn't you you know what I'm saying? It was just a a practice. They just the the leaders did that and and I I have been really a victim in those in in that operation many many many times. But I knew where I was. I was right there what Mike just said. I knew I wasn't guilty. And I I you know what I said to myself? I say God there's there's there there's there's 38:54 scripture infer inference that says God vindicates righteousness. And that's what apostle is just now saying. He's saying if you know that you are holy then God will vindicate that. He'll vindicate your holiness. He'll he'll bring it to the attention. He'll he'll show people no no no. You got you you don't know what you don't know where you you don't know where you are. I know what this person and God will reveal your spiritual location. He will reveal it 39:24 in his time and in his way. But if you if you are want to grow in God, you've got to now you've got to mature to be able to to to deal with unrighteousness in others. Even when it's directed at you. You if if if if you you know what I'm saying? Even if it's directed at you, you've got to maturity says, "Okay, that that may be my leader, but that's still a brother or sister." That's just basically 39:55 what that is. And the enemy has taken an advantage. The enemy has taken an advantage. This is error. This is error. And I'm going to be matured enough not to let the enemy now influence me, right? I'm not going to be influenced by what the what I'm supposed to do according to the the dictates of the enemy. I'm not I'm not going there. So God is trying to bring all of us to maturity. But as as this relates 40:25 to leadership, discipling, discipling, leadership. Amen. We must go back to the lesson you just did the other day that leaders must be found faithful. They must have integrity. They must have strength of character. They And you said something. You said something uh the other day that we we can't just gloss over it. You said, "Now, if I have a track record of doing a thing, I can't get mad at people for not trusting me or for believing me." 40:55 Cuz when he came up here, the first thing he said was, "Well, basically what he's saying, Doc, we we set the precedence for that. We did that cuz people are followers. You follow your leader." Glory to God. And if you've seen me do it and me and and Mike do it, then you think it's all right to do it. But God, I'm here to tell you, no, it ain't all right. We were wrong, right? We were just wrong. 41:25 Glory to God. And that's why I had to change. I had to stop. God said, I'm like you. I don't like you. You got to change that. Got to change that. So, I stop I before I And you know what's good, too, Mike? You know, not even bringing it to the pull pit. It's good not to even talk about it till you know you what you're talking about, right? You know what I'm saying? It's not even good to 41:55 pass it on. If someone come to you and bring something to you, it's not even good to pass that on until you know what you're talking about. The Bible say, "Let your conversation be yay, yay, and nigh nigh." Glory to God. Amen. And and and know what you're what you're bearing witness to, right? We have to know what we're bearing witness to. So, you know, um I just appreciate where God is in this. you wanted to add something? 42:25 Yes, ma'am. Um, tonight what what we're what you're doing and what I'm trying to help do, this is disciplehip. Yes, it is. It's disciplehip. This is disciplehip. This is a setting where you can be more personal with people. Right. Right. Um, and speak specifically to certain situations or spiritual locations. Mhm. I think that those in the ministry conflate this with when they should be up preaching and teaching. There is a difference. Explain that, Matt. Oh, yes ma'am. There 42:56 is a different posture of disciplehip, right, than it is when you're delivering a message. Right. Right. is a there is a difference you know and I think that a lot of our leaders they get up always in this posture right right you you know you see how how we've read a scripture and then now we're doing a lot of talking because we're discipling right exactly that's different than the Lord gave me a message on faith right you need 43:26 to be teaching faith so I need to teach faith right what is it spirit you know I need to go line upon line precept precept. I need to show how scripture connects and brings understanding. I don't need to be up giving a whole dissitation, you know, that somehow include Yeah. a situation that I heard, right, about and and hopefully this person will find out that they're the villain in the story. This other person found they the victim in 43:56 the story and all that kind of stuff. Exactly. But if we just leave the pull pit for preaching and teaching and then have a separate setting for disciplehip, right? I'm really I know the type of ministry we are international ministry. So that is both a blessing but not a curse but a handicap as well. I'm not a big fan of discipling over line online. Right. Right. Disciplehip. Yeah. Disciplehip, you know, for me is better inhouse, no cameras, because 44:26 I may need to say to this person something direct that I don't want a person, you know, across the world knowing or hearing, but if we stop conflating the two platforms and bringing them together and and separate, if you're on Sunday morning supposed to be preaching a message, 44:46 Oh, get up and preach. Put your hand on my shoulder. I want all the grace that you got coming out when I say this. If you supposed to be preaching a message on Sunday morning, open the Bible, read a line, explain that line, read another line, explain that line, and when you finished, sit down and you would have preached. But all of that stuff Yeah. around it that that is including a lot of fluff and filler, right, or 45:16 whatever. You leave the door open now for you to start talking about people and offending people. I've made that mistake and that's something that I will continue to make if I don't if I don't be conscious and intentional about no, let me stay focused. There are times when you all see me up here and I pause and and that that's what the pause is about. Let me stay focused even though that other thing just came to my mind, 45:46 but let me focus focus and and stay the course and and stop calling that other thing the leading of the Holy Spirit. Right. Right. He not leading you there. You know that's right. Let me stay focused because and and and I learned this. I learned this and just a hint to the wise is sufficient. I learned that when visitors come, they don't want to hear our personal internal things. That's right. They're coming to see, can you teach me 46:16 the the difference between law and grace? Right. Can you teach me the difference between Israel and the church? They're they're coming to see what you know, right? Not all of that that filler. What is walking in the spirit? What is walking in the spirit? That's a thing. Is that a thing? Right. You know, you know, and so I got a question, Mike. Absolutely. I had a question and this is this question needs to be answered by I think 46:46 all of us. Okay? If you hear this, if you hear this message tonight, right, and you do that, let's say, let's say you you're you're you're guilty of this. You're guilty of of preaching the gossip, preaching, you know, situations, circumstances, you know, and instead of the gospel. Okay. Um wouldn't a person have to stop like you say you say like you were saying we both have been guilty of this and now you say I would still be guilty 47:16 of it if I didn't stop and focus be intentional and be intentional. Okay. What would cause you not to do that after you have been cautioned by God? You know you've been told by God. What would be the thing that would keep you from stop being focused and stay on track? What would cause you to go over here and deal with foolishness? Perspective. I perceive this to be an opportunity to vent. Okay? And I would not pass up 47:46 that opportunity. That's good cuz that's what it is. That's what it is. And and and and now Okay. And and if I'm venting, if I'm venting now because remember the scenario that I created, I've already judged one is right and the other one is wrong. Right? So in my vent in my rant there, that's going to be stipulated. You know, that's going to be that's going to be you're not listen I'm leave not leaving anything to the imagination. 48:16 It's going to be stipulated that this there's the one here that's wrong and one here that's right without me even knowing. This is the thing that I want to that that that that I'm I'm trying to focus on tonight as it relates to the title preaching the gossip instead of the go the gospel. Amen. Our base scripture is out of the mouth of two or three witnesses every word will be established. So if if I don't know if 48:46 I'm just getting my information, this is my my, you know, my grape vine. I got my information from this person, but somebody else is involved in this, deeply involved in this, and I don't even consider before I take this to the pull pit or take it to somewhere else. Glory to God. I don't consider that. That's what God is trying to deal with. the non integrity that that lack of integrity in ministry that lack of character in ministry 49:16 that that that that person that God is is cautioning now I've heard you say a many times Mike what you said tonight about preachers just need to get up and preach the gospel all the talk leave it alone just go preach the gospel now if I can't do that why I don't you know I know people going to beg to differ but I don't think A lot of people are good 49:47 teachers. I I don't think Uhhuh. Is this just all people listening? No. Oh, well, I got to watch how I say this. I don't think that a lot of people are really qualified to simply teach the scriptures. Mhm. And when you're not, can I can I be real? Um I remember when I was a I would say a good preacher, right? But I was a good preacher because I wasn't wellstudied. Okay. So I would focus 50:18 my my strengths on preaching, right? You know, I would focus on declaring, you know, preaching. Yeah. When it when I would say things change was when I started doing son's dot training or something it was called. Yeah. And and Anesa was filming me that time. Remember the different lessons? Yes. It forced me because there's no audience, right? there's a subject, right? It forced me line upon line, let me teach this line, let me teach this 50:48 line, teach this line. And I found out I'm a pretty decent teacher when I do that, right? You know, but I see a lot of people that if I if we weren't in this online setting and we were just face to face with some of our leaders, I would say respectfully, you're not a good teacher. You you talk, you know, you talk because you may even perceive what we do as just talking. And so you 51:18 you pick up on that aspect of it, but you you're forgetting how that we're talking about the last the last line we we just read. Exactly. Exactly. You know, we're you know, and we're expounding on that where when in actuality you you're not you're so far away from what you just read. Exactly. And now you're just talking, right? You know, you're just talking or whatever. See, when a person is wellstudied, I realize this. When a 51:48 person is wellstudied, they leave that novice um form of understanding of of a thing. And when you leave that way of understanding, you can now speak about it in a conversation form. Well, the truth is, Mike, if a person is not wellstudied, they have a lack of content. They don't have no content. Yeah. So, they so they need they need a filler. So, they start talking about stuff and things and people and situation and because 52:18 they don't have the content, right? They don't have they don't have the content. If you study and and I believe that a lot of our the ministers, some of the ministers that are not good teachers, I believe that's why they're not good teachers, they are not studied. And if you if and and I challenge those those who who may find themselves there, go back and do what what your apostle is telling you. Study and and 52:48 just try stand in the mirror if you need to and and and and get a get a get a lesson. get a lesson and and go go into a chapter. Go into go into a book of of of the Bible. Go into a chapter and try teaching line upon line. Just one line at a time. Just one line. See, can you do that? Because to do that, Mike, takes study. Takes study. You have to study. 53:18 And now you have the content. The scripture say, "Study to show yourself approved of God. A workman that need not be made ashamed." And you don't realize that you are shaming your ministry when you can stand before people and they recognize you don't have content. And why do we why we don't talking about we as a ministry? Why do we put people up who are not studi wellstudied, right? Why do we put see why do 53:48 we put people up that creates a ceiling as it relates how to how far the ministry ministerial reach can go based on that person's lack of study, lack of articulation because you're you're in a world where people respect intelligence. Intelligence and spiritual knowledge and spiritual knowledge. But we'll put a person up who use incorrect English, their articulation and their pronunciation of words be incorrect. And then their knowledge of the actual scripture that they're reading from 54:18 is very basic because what they are doing is they're they're getting an understanding from a lesson that they've heard or whatever, right? that they've once they're paring and they're trying to parrot that, right? You know, and this is something and I say this stuff humbly. I I don't this is the type of stuff I like to teach in the ministerial training, but this is very similar. Yes. Um, so I'm not trying to hurt feelings, right? 54:49 I'm not trying to hurt feelings. I want you all to understand that. But this is why a lot of people will listen to a Tanya Thomas. Sure will. Because Tanya studies. Yes. And it's reflected in her message. And it it is reflective in her message. That's real. She studies. And so she's able to take her time and be very methodical, you know, and just really break down scripture. This is the acid test of your teaching 55:19 ability. This is the acid test. I learned this from my mentor is when not when people say, "Oh, oh, you sure did good today." Stop letting that be your acid test. People are kind. People are encouraging. Right. Right. The acid test is when people come to you and say, "I've been reading that scripture for years, but I've never seen it until today." Right. Right. That's when you know you've taught somebody something. Mhm. All that other 55:49 stuff. That brother Dan, you feel you feel that? When people says, "I never saw that." But I see it now. That's when you've taught them something. Mom, you did that to to us the other night um on the scripture about and all things were working together. Oh, when we was talking about praying in the spirit. I never saw that. Amen. But that's when somebody has taught me something. That's more than me saying, "Oh, you did 56:19 good tonight." No, I I walked away there. You're feeling what I'm saying cuz you're now seeing it. That's when you've taught me something. You know, and so if if if if people just patting you on the back, but they but they don't come away with a deeper understanding of their God. Amen. and a deeper understanding of salvation you have not taught. That's real. Apostle Mike, I want to answer the question uh that you asked. Why 56:49 do we put people up that that are just not teachers, not preachers, um are not articulate or whatever the ch the perception of church is wrong. Our perception of church is this community where we have a a council of leaders and and and we've got to give everybody a chance. A yeah, we got to give everybody a chance. So we start a rotation and and this rotation is is is not like uh for instance like 57:19 if if I if I'm not here, Michael can hold it down. If Michael and I, neither one of us are here. Yet Nesbbit can hold it. Daniel Chen can hold it. They a Kareem can hold it. You know, we know some people that can hold it, that can that can minister. Those are the people that we're going to recommend to to to take our place. But but there's a perception of church that we have to 57:49 give everybody a chance instead of putting that person. I did I I did this in a min in a ministry. you you had ministered this and and this is disciplehip. So I'm I'm and I I feel I feel like uh I'm li at liberty to say this. You had you had you I think you was the first one brought this out to our attention that we need to not just put up people just to give 58:19 them a chance to have to stand in front of cameras and a microphone with a microphone. Glory to God. because we're talk we're now we're we're now assigning them the face of the ministry and the perception that people are going to have of the ministry. Okay, this it's not about giving everybody a chance. What ministry leaders are supposed to do is put everybody in their strengths. There there are some people that are excellent on the 58:50 street, but they they they just they they just not pull pit preachers. And they can reach people in the street that maybe I may never be able to reach. They have the vernacular of the streets. They have the mindset of the street. They know the disposition of the streets. So they know which in which and every way to come more so than I would. Glory to God. And so if if if we change our perception 59:20 of ministry and stop just just okay, you you when you brought this first to our attention, I'm going to say this here and and um cuz it's the truth. You brought this to our attention and and you you and you didn't just bring it one time. You kept bringing it. And so I visited one of the locations and and and I and I and this it came up at that location and I said, "Well, that's 59:50 what he's talking about, you know, he's saying for us not to do that instead of doing that, putting someone up, you know, just to give them a space, just to, you know, give them an opportunity to to preach on a Sunday morning." Glory to God. When and and and you think about it now, Sunday morning is when people visit your church. Glory to God. And so you that's when you have your best ministers up on 60:20 Sunday morning. Praise the Lord. You and and and so anyway, and I said that and and they changed it for a minute. No, for a few seconds and then suddenly it's back the same way it was. Why? Because we we can be passionate and we can be compassionate compassionately wrong compassionately in error. Glory to God. Cuz we have to think in terms of a global ministry that's every time every every every location every location in 60:50 this ministry that that we have 23 functioning 23 or 24 functioning churches. Okay. Now it we have to be very careful that in every one of those locations, Amen. people are coming to to to hear what they what what they have been told or perceive to be a a genuine revelatory ministry. Glory to God. And every one of those locations, every time they minister, they are ministering to thousands of people. they're ministering to to an 61:20 online audience. And as long as that video is online, it's still going out. It's still going out. As long as it's on YouTube, it's going out. If it's been there 5 years, 10 years, it's still going out. And so, we have to be very careful because we're now we're saying this is the signature of the ministry. This is the signature of the ministry. When I listen to people, when I look at the when when I 61:50 look at when I look at people, when I look at Tanya Thomas teach, I listen to Belinda Dash, that's another great teacher. Uh, uh, Vicky Wright, glory to God, that can preach the gospel. You and Hodelin Wright, you know, and I could I could I could name I could name a lot. Marvin, oh my god. Amen. We have we have to be sure we have to be sure that when we when we stand in front 62:20 of that camera that we got our best foot forward that we're taking the that we have content that we're not going to get up and just start babbling because when you don't have biblical content you're going to result to gossip. I call it all gossip. If it's not biblical content it's just you're just rambling and talking and just talking and talking and talking. No. And that's not edifying. That's not edifying. And so God is trying 62:51 to tweak us, saint. God is saying, "Okay, let's don't do this. Let's don't Let's don't Let's don't do this. Let's don't do this." Amen. Glory to God. Let's don't do this. Let's now refine and perfect our delivery. Because just because a person is not a Sunday morning preacher doesn't mean they're not a preacher. Amen. It doesn't mean they're not a preacher. Well, where do they where where is their strength at? Where's Where's their strength at? 63:21 Glory to God. Do you know a good pastor, a good pastor, a a good pastor has to be an instructor, has to be a preacher, has to be a teacher. He has to be able to do both because he he has to know when to allow the Holy Spirit to just use him as an exalter. He he can take that same that same message uh uh walking in the spirit for instance. You I've never I 63:51 wish I could do it as well as you can. You can take a message I can take a uh I can teach walking in the spirit and go so deep I can go deep down in revelation and glory to God. You got to go skin diving to follow me. But you can take that same message and bring it right to where everybody lives. the same theme, the same subject matter. You are anointed preacher. You You 64:21 can do that and without even trying because that's your gift. Glory to God. Everybody doesn't have that. So we we got saints. Are y'all I hope I hope you guys are getting this. Amen. I hope you guys are are are getting this. I I tell people all the time, study study. We have people in this ministry that would be awesome. They have the principles. They understand the principles of the ministry, but they don't know how 64:51 to articulate it in a lesson because they don't study. If they were to study, they already know the principles. But if they were to study and get their content out of the scriptures, they would be awesome teachers and preachers. and and and you wouldn't have to rely on something someone told you or something you thought you saw and can be so wrong. Sometimes your eyes will fool you. One of the greatest lessons I ever learned, 65:21 I told you you guys about it when I went down to the West Palm Beach on one Sunday morning and saw all these people walking around in there with with with with their sashes on. Oh my god. All the leaders had on their sashes, their ordination sashes. I said, "Oh my god, are they caught up in this? They really caught up." And so when I came in, I said, "Y'all y'all having a program or something?" 65:51 And and one of the one precious baby, she said, she said, "Oh, no. We the uh we wear our sashes so that they would know who the leaders are." Now, I took that and I ran with it. And I and I I said, "Now, this a mindset here that's got to be dealt with. This is a mindset that got to be dealt with. No, what this was was a oneought thing. We come out of world 66:21 conference think ordination and now to let the people in this church know who all the ordained ministers were this one Sunday. They just put on their s. So you'll know who your ministers are. I thought it was something they did every week. You you know what I'm saying? That's why it says out of the glory to God and it scripture say in all you're getting get understanding and see and I ran with that and it 66:52 was so unfair to pastor Wright to to her her staff to all of them and I had to go right back where I was and and apologize publicly because that and that's what I'm talking about. Let's stay with what we know and all you get and get understanding. Don't jump up in the pull pit and start preaching something or cuz that's not preaching. That's not preaching. You're just talking. You're you're you're talking. And I call 67:22 it all gossip. Let's stay with the Bible. Pastor Mike says, "Get up. Read your scriptures. Teach those scriptures. Teach the scriptures because that's who people came to hear. God. What is God saying?" That's safe, guys. That's safe. And if we stay right there, glory to God. If we stay right there, we won't fall into these traps that the enemy is trying to set. 67:48 Hallelujah. I want to um I want to deal with one little piece. Okay. Amen. But I I do um and mom corrected that that that that assumption. She corrected that really fast from from what I remember. of that. Um, but I want to I want to go to first Corinthians. I want to go to first Corinthians 68:18 5. First Corinthians. Yes. I want to go to First Corinthians 5 right quick. Um, that's the s preacher. I'm sorry. That's that's the sinning preacher. Yes. Okay. But first Corinthians 5 and 68:39 Um in one I have one. Yes ma'am. Okay. It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you and such fornication as is not much so much as named among the Gentiles that one should have his father's wife. Mhm. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that has done this deed might be taken away from among you. Mhm. For I verily, as absent in the body, but present in spirit, have 69:09 judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that has done has so done this deed. Now the reason why I went to this scripture is because it is one of the um biblical scenarios that really give us um the jurisdiction of the apostle but it also there's something in it that I do want us to um highlight is something in it that I want us to highlight that you have to be open to. Mhm. 69:39 What does what is the third word of this verse that you just read in the first verse? Come uh report it. Someone told Paul. So, so sometime things are being said that God is still going to address even though it was said right. But and he said it's reported commonly. Yeah. You know, cuz people always, oh, he she must have talked to him or she must have talked to her. No, he's saying everybody know what's 70:10 going on. But but but things are being said, but that don't negate that God addressing it. That's right. Because it was said, right? Hallelujah. And and oh, you know what also was said? That they were puffed up. that that that that that this has become the nature or the like you were saying earlier the face of leadership now. Right. Exactly. You know, and so I don't want to negate I don't I don't want to negate 70:40 the possibility that God could use the telephone. Oh yeah. God could use somebody to actually say something and then the apostilhip have to address it. Exactly. You know this was um this also happened I believe in Galatians when Paul is talking about the difference between him and Apollos. That may have been Corinthians as well. That's Corinthians as well. Corinthians when he when he was saying um some saying that they're with there of Paul some of 71:10 Apollos. These were the different things that were being said and that got back to Paul whether it was through letters right you know but Paul God led Paul to address it. The reason why I'm saying this is that we can't pigeon hole God, right, as to how to deal, you know, God may use that telephone and say, "Now, I want I want this to be addressed as as something we need to address as a mindset. 71:40 We need to address." God been teaching us. What are some of the things God been teaching to us? Self-denial. How many of us leaders needed this message? Oh my God. Another thing that God has been teaching us, the overly use of submission. Amen. How many how many Amen. Many people have have have had a discrepancy about, well, what is submission? Did the submission make me the pastor slave? Come on. Does submission make me mindless? Am 72:10 I out of submission if I just simply disagree? you know and so we can't we can't dictate now how God bring you know about a message you know it is our responsibility as the ones that God bring it through to make sure like apostle says that we are ministering that in integrity and in fairness you know okay uh Mike I I I'm okay uh I I I want to say this I want to say this 72:40 about that now notice what Paul said here Paul said, "I've already judged this." Now, in order for Paul to go that far to judge a matter and turn a man over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, Paul had to know that this thing is real. This thing that I've been told is the truth. Now, for instance, um if I if if if LONA Wesley I I can use her because she comes to mind 73:10 very easily. If Lona Wes to call me and tell me of a situation or a a complexity of something that's going on in Jamaica, right, in any of the churches in Jamaica, if she come, if she tell me one thing she one thing that I have known her to do, now I don't can't deal with nobody else's interaction with her, but one thing that if she is reporting something to me, she's going to report the 73:40 good, she's going to report the bad. She's going to report. She's not going to leave she's not going to leave out nothing even if it even if it's something well but you know negative but she said but now but I got to say this I also see this I you know she she always she's always going to be even kill in in in her. She's not going to leave out some things so that I'll have 74:10 this impression over here. You know, she's going to tell show me the good and she's going to show me the bad and she's going to say, "But you know what, Doc? Now, I have to say this and I'm and she she's not making a judgment cuz she's talking to her apostle before she ever she don't want to make no judge judgment. She wants to now say this is what this is what I see. This is 74:40 what what is happening. And now now what is this?" You you know what I'm saying? I don't want to judge this with just what with I don't want to risk judging this with just my maybe limited spiritual knowledge. Okay? And so I when you're talking to someone like that, okay? or you're talking to someone that because because I was talking to someone a couple of weeks ago, I was talking to someone and they always they 75:10 always got a you know they always telling a story, right? They they have a story to tell. Yeah. It be drama. It's always there's always some drama, right? And so they're telling me about this person don't even have to be people in the ministry. Okay, don't not talking may not even be about people in the ministry, just people and they're talking about this and they're talking about the drama and whatnot. And so now you're listening 75:40 and and if you're talk if they're talk telling you about this person did this or that D and you're you're getting you're getting a picture you're getting a picture of that person, right? And like I said in and in this situation, it wasn't people in the ministry. you they just talking about somebody, you know, in in their whatever in their environment. And and and I learned this. I learned when that person talk, just let them 76:10 keep talking. You know how you know what I you know why I had to learn that? because they would tell you something and then now they they've given you an impression of of the person that they're talking about. But then if you keep listening to them, they've contradicted what they said about the person. In other words, they they give the picture. This person is is hard to deal with. This person doesn't want it. You can't 76:40 tell them nothing. Da da da. I'm just using this as an example. Person, you can't tell them nothing. D. But then now you keep listening and s and down in the conversation later on way down in the conversation they say you know and well I said well m why why would you why would you even deal just you know that's too much drama to then now you hear they did reach out though they that's contradictory 77:10 to what to a whole 30 minutes this is you understand what I'm saying so I'm like when when people do that you don't know what to believe you don't and and that's what I'm saying We as leaders have to be careful because the enemy is skillful at allowing people to paint pictures to paint pictures that may not actually be accurate. May not actually be accurate. Glory to God. And um uh what I look at what 77:40 what I look at is what the Holy Ghost show me. I got I'm going to minister to that person based upon what the Holy Spirit showed me. And it doesn't matter. Let me let me go here. Because either you're going to have if you if you're a mature minister, you're either going to have confidence in God or you're not. And and and and you got to know that God is working with you. And when when 78:10 I know God is working with me and he showed me something, he showed me something spiritual about an individual, I don't care what anybody else says. I don't care what this person thinks about him. I don't care what that one over there thinks about them. I'm going by with what God say. What did God tell me? And what am I looking at? What am I What am What am I observing? We as leaders got to 78:40 be able to take the things that we see, glory to God, the things that we hear, and we got to now bring them into the spirit. Bring that into the spirit and see, Holy Ghost, you define this. You define it. Don't let me Don't let me try to judge this outside of the spirit. You define this. Now when God defines it and I'm coming to minister on that what I see, I don't care how many 79:10 people. It can be a Lona Wesley. It can be a Tanya Thomas. It can be a Michael Thomas. I'm going with what the Holy Spirit said. What does the Holy Spirit say? That's when you have spiritual content. You can counsel. When you got spiritual content, you can minister. Anything else without spiritual content in counseling is gossip. Without spiritual content in ministering is gossip. You you don't take the affairs of the world and make a message 79:40 out of it. You don't make a message out of affairs, things, stuff. The message is given. It's the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's the gospel of Jesus Christ. And that's what we're supposed to be preaching. Any final remarks, pastor? I would say this. Um, when we look at this this part in Corinthians 1 Corinthians 5, when we look at this, Paul is both addressing and rebuking sin. Sin. That's what he's rebuking. Specific sin. He's he's 80:10 rebuking that, but he's also rebuking the leaders in their entreatment of this sin. The way they dealing with the way they're dealing with it, a very specific sin, right? Some of us need to follow that example. If you're not addressing actual sin and you're just addressing personality, Yeah. You're addressing bad days. You're addressing this one. Don't speak to that one and all of that kind of stuff. That is not our place. He's addressing a a 80:41 actual sin. And I think because we by we I'm talking about we as church because we now we address what we consider to be a person's mindset you know or what we think their mindset is or you know just frivolous stuff you know two people don't get along you know and stuff like that. We addressing that type of stuff in our message, you know, over and over again, but it's not a Now, if you see 81:11 a specific sin, you're supposed like if you can say, well, this is due to unforgiveness, that's a specific sin, right? You know, right? And so, you need to minister on unforgiveness. But all of this this this Can I stand up camera because Hallelujah. But all of this um addressing things that are not um uh actual sin that you could put your finger on or whatever. That makes attending church hard because it it brings the ministering 81:41 level down to a very petty level. I'm I'm I'm I'm addressing I heard that you don't deal with this person. I I heard that you having a problem. I I heard gossip gossip you know rather than but is that person in fornication? Is that person in something sinful that you can you can say you you just did this or just did that? Okay. Let can I ask you a question before you go there? Before cuz 82:11 I I I got a little thing that I want to complete. Okay. Right. The other thing here is when Paul addressed it, he went so far and say, "Turn him over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh that his spirit or his I'm sorry, his soul might be saved in the day of the Lord." Right? Paul did not coddle that which God was addressing. Right? The leaders were coddling that, right? They sure were. We 82:41 cannot stand in a position of authority and cuddle that which God says, "But but this is sin." When you finish when you finish doing this here and rubbing them down and patting them on the back, they still on their way to hell for this. Exactly. There is. They still on their way to hell for it. That's right. you know, and and and so I just saints, I have talked to a man one night and the 83:11 next day find out that he dead. And so the Lord is is making it very real to me how important it is that you tell a person the truth in this time that you have with a person. Mhm. But but all of this coddling and and allowing stuff, you know, and and people are on their way to hell. Mhm. You know how many people we've buried? My God. You know, so God is trying to save 83:41 that person's soul. He's not trying to save relationships with them and and all that kind of stuff and just encouraging them in the moment. No, God is trying to save their soul in the day of the Lord, you know. And so we have to be careful. We have to be careful. Mom says something that I believe that you all receive when she says it, but I don't know if you receive it when I say it. 84:11 And I don't say this in arrogance, but when I know God is addressing something, I don't care what nobody feel about it. That's right. I'm going to say it. Even if you come back and preach another message to refute it, I'm still going to say it. Even if you try to console the person, I'm still going to say it because at the end of the day, I don't want blood to be on my hands. It's 84:41 not about proving I'm Michael. I'm this bold guy who don't care nothing about nothing. No. Is that I know the severity of people losing their soul. That's right. So, I'm going to say it even if it make them mad. Is I'm here because I survived messages that made me mad. Mhm. I'm here because I survived rebuke, reproof. I'm I'm here because I was offended and I got over it, you know. And so I I I 85:11 know you all may can receive it when my mother says it, but I hope you can receive it when I say it. I don't mean to hurt nobody, but I'm I I'm I'm going to to the best of my ability. I've I've dishonored God and and and played around with my calling and my salvation too long for me to get to this to this year in my life years in my life. And to continue doing 85:41 so continue doing so. I sit in a box all day long. All day long concentrating on Lord, how how can I be a better servant to you? How can I be a better servant to you? And so that's my motivation. My motivation. So while while we while we're cuddling and all this other stuff, are you securing their soul though? Right? That's the question. Are you securing their soul? That's what matters. That's what matters. The Bible 86:11 says, "Whom God is blessed, no man can curse. But whom God cursed, no man can bless." Nobody can bless. Real. We got to get out of God's way. Apostle, praise the Lord. Amen. Bless the Lord. Saints, I hope you have enjoyed this night of disciplehip. Praise the Lord. We've been all over. Amen. We've been from A to Z. Glory to God. And a few places in between. Glory to God. But it was it's all been 86:41 fruitful. Praise the Lord. It's all been fruitful. Amen. And And I I'm excited. I'm excited about what God is saying. Amen. Let's stay with the scriptures. Let's stay with the scriptures. Let's stay with biblical content. Let's preach the gospel, not gossip. Okay? Let's stay there. Praise the Lord. We're going to go deeper into this and if you have any questions about it or you want us to deal with some other issues, you know, around this. 87:11 Amen. Someone is saying a question. Apostle, can you please clarify what you meant by not allowing persons who may not be? Do you you just moved it up too far and you bring it back down some right there? Right. May Allah may not who may not be articulate in um is it even 87:36 even if they're not proficient in the English language but they but they know the word that's what they're saying they're not articulate in language. This is what I'm saying. Anything you love, anything you believe in, you do your best to perfect. Yeah. If you are a minister for 10 and 20 years and if in the first two years you could barely talk and now you're eight years in this thing and you still can barely talk, it's because that's not important to you. That's right. 88:06 That's the only way I can conclude. That's just real. And you need to sit down until that become important to you. Amen. And uh well, your question is, are you too hard? Well, um I I think I think it's I can't say you're wrong. I I really can't say you're wrong because we don't off often put a value in church on how we sound and how we present the gospel of Jesus Christ. We don't put a value on that. Especially in our neck of 88:37 the woods, we we we you know, I I started min I started ministering using broken English and and whatnot trying to fit in because I I when I came from from University of South Florida, didn't graduate from there, but when I came out of there, Amen. I was speaking correct English. But when I was speaking that correct English, uh people I sound different because you're you're actually pronouncing all of your words properly and I sound different and I take on a different vernacular and 89:07 um and so I I started you know speaking all this whatever it is uh you know this other vernacular and and just trying to fit in. However, that's the worst thing I could have done. I trained myself to to use broken English and that was just not that was that wasn't God. And now it's a challenge to get back and when I and I was coming back to it one time and you made fun of me and and it pierced my little heart. So 89:37 I I just left it alone. But then God challenged me and God says if you're going to have a global ministry then you have to have a a semblance of intelligence because people if you can't articulate the English language people are going to say well hey but now let me go let me go here Michael says something that we have to look at if if now I'm not if if I love this why won't I perfect myself why won't I we have we have 90:08 speech therapists in this ministry, several of them. We have teachers almost in every location. Why not get them to help us and tutor us in the English language? Okay. Um and because there's there's room for improvement in most of us. I know I know with me there is there's there's room for improvement if I just really stop and focus on that. However, if I don't do that, why why won't I do that? Because it's my perception. My per perception is if I know the 90:38 word like the question is if I if I I'm proficient in the word, I know what the word mean and I know what it says. But you know, so God got a I got an anointing on my life. Okay. Then then there's a place for you. If you if you if you now believe that that you don't need to perfect yourself, then now you you are confining yourself to minister to the people that speak that language that you're speaking. That's where you're confining your 91:08 ministry to. You're you're you're saying, "I don't belong on this platform. I'm I need to be over here on this platform right here." You see? And so that's what I see the the the the error in that is. You know, you you're boxing yourself in. You and and why wouldn't you want to better yourself? You go to you you do music. Ever since I've known you, ever since I've known you to even to pick up the first instrument, the first keyboard, you've always progressed. 91:38 You've always progressed. You've always sought out how to better yourself. You've all kept trying to better yourself. And see, if we can't do that, if we don't have that kind of passion for for Christ and biblical perfection, then we'll we won't even we won't even consider it. Praise the Lord. And so, we'll be satisfied that I can't reach these people over here. I can't talk to these over here. Glory to God. And and and we'll pat ourselves on the back because uh I did 92:09 reach this one. I did talk to that one. Glory to God. But how many more would not listen because they didn't think we knew what we were talking about? Glory to God. So um I think that Jamal I think that answer I hope that answered your question. Praise the Lord. And saints if there if you have any things that you want us to disciple on please just you know send me send us an email uh info@marybanks.net and we will definitely put it on the 92:39 agenda because there are things that's going on in in the in the body of Christ. We want to be the presentation of Christ. I know I do. I want to be perfect. I want to have a perfect presentation of of Jesus Christ. I want to have the integrity, the character, the spiritual disposition that exudes Christ in everything I do and say and think. So if you if if if you if there's some things that you see about yourself even and that you want us 93:09 to minister on, just send us an email info@marybanks.net and we will definitely get on it. Well, anything else, Apostle? Okay. Praise the Lord. Glory to God. Well, um we we going to have to go. Praise the Lord. This has been exciting. This has been been very very good and and well-rounded. Wellrounded. I think um Michael coming in tonight actually allowed us to see from different perspectives. We see we see these things from different perspectives. And that's a good thing. That's a good thing. We 93:40 need that diversity. Glory to God. So we can see things from from from all angles that the Holy Spirit is trying to show it to us from. Glory to God. And let's just take heed. You know, saints, when I hear God talking, I can't ignore that. I don't care who it is he's using. But if he's saying something, you know, and I know that he's talking to me, then hello, you know, praise the Lord. So, I hope that you've enjoyed the teaching tonight, the 94:10 disciplehip. Glory to God. And uh I don't have any choice. I can't go to every location and and everybody can't travel to a particular location all the time. So, we try to pick uh subjects and we we're careful how we bring those subjects because we know that we it's not just exclusive. This broadcast is not just exclusive exclusive to Bible teachers. And so, we're we're we're conscious of that. And so, we try to keep it, you know, coralled a little bit. Glory to God. 94:40 But when we get face to face, guys, we'll deal. Amen. Praise the Lord. God is has been blessing us. And I don't want you to leave without giving something, saints. And this is the first of the month. You know, when the first rolls around, here's another cycle of bills that's due. And if you don't help us with them, we can't pay them. Glory to God. Amen. But, you know, to to house the ministry, you know, the gospel is free, but facilitating it is expensive. 95:11 And so, I'm asking you to go go to to mbanks.net net and you can give with cash app, any other debit or credit card. Just go to marybanks.net/give. Amen. And you can give right there. Amen. Anything else possible? I want to say to the people that we appreciate your giving, too. Yes. You know, we appreciate I I know that you hear my mother's heart, but I want you to know we as a whole ministry benefit from your giving, and we want you to know 95:41 that we appreciate your giving. Those of you who have taken on this ministry as your responsibility to support it, you've just taken it on. Yes. You know, and there's there's some people that faithfully give faithfully. And and I don't want to call names because I don't want to, you know, alienate or miss anyone, but we just want you to know that we appreciate your giving because you make this possible. You make this possible. And I just wanted to say we appreciate you. That's all. 96:11 And mom, thank you for allowing me to come and just share what the Lord put in my spirit. Thank you so much. Praise the Lord. You know, um I see so many people online saying that they were blessed tonight and um they hear God. They they hear God. And I want to shout out to the Sand Cars all the way down there in Trinidad. I I really Mike, you got to go. You got to go. Amen. You've been talking about going. We We got 96:41 to go back. I want to go back to Trinidad. Amen. Um the Sand Cars are just uh and uh Elizabeth Lee down there and Don Charles they they they have they the ministry there is is just different. is you see that I mean they oh my god it's you see the early church when you go there you see the early church growing their their vegetables uh taking everybody in turn their house into the church turn their yes turn their house into the church and 97:12 it's it's working it's really working and and they already begun to to store up amen for the end time they grow their own food there glory to God it's just magnificent son, I can't wait to get back. And I want them to know I do listen to you guys. Amen. Praise the Lord. I I I catch you. Glory to God. And uh I want to to to say amen to all of you. Be faithful in these discipleships because they will change your life. They 97:42 will change your life. Amen. So just just be faithful. Amen. And be here. I'm going to try to be faithful and be here on Wednesday on uh Tuesday nights and Friday nights. Glory to God. and bring you the best that I can. Amen. God bless you. Heaven smile upon you. I'll see you next time.
