The Spirit of Iniquity

It is my deepest desire to relay to those who have been given the opportunity to become true witnesses of Christ, the true heart and mind of our eternal Father. It has become more and more apparent that until now, the Church has failed to present the mind of God to the world, or even to its own constituents. In times past, we did not fully understand the intent of our Lord for the Church, nor did we know its purpose. Therefore, where purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. It is becoming more and more apparent that the message of faith to obtain earthly prosperity is beginning to sound ludicrous to the Body of Christ.

In our endeavor to persuade the church of the truth concerning entering into the fellowship of Christ’s suffering, the Father has aided our cause with the recent decline of the world’s economic systems. The doctrine of Dual Nature has done grave damage to the souls who sincerely thought they could live a life free from sin and overcome the world. Though it corrupted the church by establishing a mindset that no one is or will ever be perfect before God; the doubt, fear and frustration this heresy has caused is creating a yearning in the saints for something more stable and pure. They are as sheep desperately waiting to hear the voice of their shepherd. I thank God for those of us that know the mind of the Father in all of this. We know where we missed His intent for His beloved Church. Our inner man moans and groans for the light to shine in our inward parts. We have indeed become desperate to hear from our Master; and in all honesty, He has been faithful.

This generation, of which I am a part, must not miss its opportunity to reveal the true heart and mind of the Father for the Church. I asked the Father what He would have me say to this up-and-coming generation of warriors; children of the light, who hope to become champions for Jesus...these Sons who love the Father but have discerned there is indeed something missing in the development of the Church. I wanted to know the most destructive weapon Satan would use against this new breed of saints, which is beginning to take shape. I was amazed at the answer I received. The Father said “Satan will use the same weapon he has used since the conception of the Church. If this generation is to succeed in fulfilling God’s eternal purpose for the Church, it must overcome the Mystery of Iniquity.”

If we continue to look at the facts concerning the fall of man, we will surely see that the most powerful underlying principle of Satan and man’s transgression is jealousy. In my book, “The Thought War,” I did a complete chapter on this horrible emotion. Lucifer was determined to exalt his throne above that of the Most High. He was jealous of his creator. He was jealous of the one who made him, the one who gave him all the substance and privileges he enjoyed. In the Garden, Satan successfully tempted Eve with the implication she would be like God. This is known as transference of spirits. The same spirit that motivated Satan to rebel against God was now transferred to Eve.

Isaiah 29:20-21

20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

The following pages are intended to enlighten you regarding “how to” identify and overcome this strategy of the enemy against the Church. In studying the Holy Scriptures, I know we can and will win this war against Satan. We can live a life free from sin, and we can and will destroy the works of the devil in the lives of others who are as of yet without the Body.

The enemy has been able to hold the church captive by its own message of Faith, Prosperity and Dual Nature. These and other man-made doctrines have driven the Church to the pursuit of its own selfish desires, aspirations, hopes and dreams. False teachers have provided false hope for many in the Church. They have searched diligently for the prosperity the Church professes to have been given; yet many are still spiritually sick, poor, on welfare, in soup lines, heartbroken, battered by life, oppressed by spirits of depression, anxiety and despair. What do we say to these facts? Is it that they have not believed the report of the fathers or is it that the report itself is incomplete and void of the perfect will of God? Will the Church of this dispensation walk in the power of the Christ, or will we continue to see one man or woman every now and then holy enough to perform the work of our Lord?

I believe the day for the one-man show is over. God will use the entire Body of Christ to show His manifold wisdom. But, in order for this to happen, the Church must first believe that even though it has been faithful over a few things, it has not manifested the intent of the Father, or the power of His Christ. Therefore, it must turn back to the Holy Scriptures and reexamine it for the truths hidden in the mind of God before the foundations of the world. This new generation of leaders must not make the same mistakes some of our fathers made. We must move with caution and godly fear to protect the precious truths of this common salvation, which was once delivered to the holy apostles and prophets of God. We must accept the fact that “the spirit of iniquity” did indeed creep into the interpretation of the Word. Thus, we were fed a watered-down gospel of holiness and a self- seeking, self-serving, faith message, which left the Church spiritually retarded, depressed and completely off course regarding the perfect will of the Father. I know our fathers brought us to God. I also know, as a whole, their intentions were good. Now I ask that you regard the deceptions of the enemy, which perhaps our fathers did not discern, or failed to understand how to fight.

Also, if you are one of the precious ones who fathered this generation, please listen to what your sons have to say. We can clearly see the Lord is also raising up sons in other nations to take their places as church leaders. I can hear the sound of going in my own race like never before. But, I caution minorities and all third world would-be leaders: you too, must be careful to examine the Mystery of Iniquity, its workings and its successes in the western Church, so you do not to allow it to rob you of your ability to please the Father and fulfill His purpose for your life.

The Gospel of the kingdom must be pure and not delivered out of our past physical oppressions, poverties, fears or embedded hatreds. This is indeed the visitation of Jesus Christ to the nations. However, if we do not overcome the spirit of iniquity, we too will forfeit our opportunity to glorify the Lord in the earth. You must see how subtle the spirit of iniquity can be. He lurks in our emotions, desires and aspirations with one purpose in mind: and that is to stop the flow of love in the Body of Christ; thus defusing it of the ability to bring forth a pure Gospel of the Kingdom, which contains the power and might of our Christ. I caution all potential spiritual leaders of any nationality: do not underestimate the subtlety of this spirit.

You are about to enter the arena of true spiritual warfare with profound revelation knowledge of the Word of God, but without the Spirit of wisdom, we will not have the ability to operate in all that we know. Though this may be the season for the preaching of the gospel, the season itself does not automatically guarantee that our individual branches will be fruitful. Hear me black man, white man, rich, poor and all who are coming to the forefront out of oppressions, poverty and abusive social or political policies; we must earnestly contend for the faith, by not allowing the spirit of iniquity to work in our thoughts, desires or emotions. For then and only then can we bring forth a gospel of power, capable of destroying the works of the devil.
