We're Ready for Battle

CHAPTER FOUR

It is now time for us to go forth in the power of the Spirit. We have studied and stayed. We have counseled and prayed. It is time to go out and reap the harvest. The Global Training Center in Leesburg has been purchased and the majors, lieutenants, and sergeants are in place and ready to put the finishing touches on the army of the Lord. The apostles are on one accord, the watchers are on the walls and the Bishops are standing at the gates. Manifested Son of God is on point, and the youths are ready to go. We are armed with the sword of the Spirit, and we are ready to battle for the Lord. We are a royal priesthood, fashioned by the word of God.

1 Corinthians 2:4

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

Like Paul, I come to you with only the revelations given to me by the Father. I know nothing of myself. The Spirit of God has waxed strong in the ministry. We are among those who have been chosen to manifest Christ. You who have lingered here year after year must be honest in your assessment of the ministry. You have seen the work of the Holy Ghost in your life and in the lives of others. The strength of the ministry is our preference for holiness. That preference has given us power over the power of temptations. We have discovered the strength to resist the devil and all that he offers.

1 Corinthians 2:5

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

We know in whom we have believed. We trusted the Lord. In the early days of this work, the Lord proved His faithfulness to His word. He has vindicated righteousness over and over. It is a part of entering into fellowship with the Father when He comes to confirm the word He has given you. Those are precious times. We have come to disregard the wisdom of men and cleave to the knowledge of God. He is our anchor and the rock of our salvation. We can trust Him and His word.

1 Corinthians 2:6

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

Some of us have agreed with God and now walk after the Spirit of God on a daily basis. We lead lives that are void of sin and seek no gain from the world. We have achieved perfection through walking in the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are millions of Christians waiting to hear the same word that sanctified us. We will take the word of God to them with humility and lowliness of mind. Because we speak in the spirit of wisdom, some who hear will indeed hear with their spiritual ears. They will seek out the sum of that wisdom and our churches will begin to overflow. Even this, however, must be received in humility and purpose. The Lord will indeed enlarge and broaden our coasts, but even this is a trying of our faith.

1 Corinthians 2:7-8

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

We preach, teach, sing and rap the wisdom of God. That is all that is in us. That is all that comes forth in the name of ministry. That which is coming forth is the word of life that was hid in God before the foundations of the world were set in place. We are glorified by the walk in humility that wisdom dictates. We will lift our voices crying loud the word of the Lord.

The Lord has given us the gift to make others understand this great mystery. We will go forth as locusts upon the land. The Lord will place us in high places and in the lowly ones as well. We will go from city to city and nation to nation. We will walk the streets and break bread in the houses of our brothers and sisters, who are at this moment lost and out of the way. The Lord will continue to give us a great mouthpiece to reach to the simple and the foolish. The anointing of the Spirit will destroy the yokes and cause their hearts to understand the Mystery of Christ.

Brothers and sisters within and without, receive this word as law for your life. The knowledge of the Lord is more precious than silver or gold and anything else the world has to offer. This word teaches you how to find the unsearchable riches of God. We walk in the fear of the Lord. That was the beginning of our wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

We have learned to shun evil and pride. It is not expedient for us to be arrogant or anxious in conversation. But we will practice to be lowly and peaceable in spirit, so that our wisdom will be easily entreated. This we understand.

The Lord has trusted us with His great wisdom, understanding, counsel and strength. These things were hidden from the wise and prudent of this world. But the Lord has found us and groomed us to be His right Hand of Righteousness in the earth. We are the light of the world and that light will shine in the hearts of the small and great, through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

The natural man or those who are of the household of faith who walk after the flesh, cannot know and experience the things the Lord has given unto us. Notice that the things given are things that cannot be seen with the natural eye. They must be spiritually discerned. Therefore, they must not be materialistic.

1 Corinthians 2:13

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

We are exercising our spiritual senses to examine the spiritual treasures to be found in the riches of God’s glory. We have come to know the love of God for us through the wisdom of the knowledge of His word. He can instruct us because we have the mind of Christ.

Therefore, Let us go on about our Father’s business. Make your calling and election sure. Do the work of evangelism. Compel souls to come in out of the coldness and horrors of this dying world.

If you are not sure of your place or purpose, the Lord will begin to work His purpose through you if your heart remains pure. He will either increase you with spiritual knowledge; develop you in relationship with Him and His people, or loose ministry in you. The key is not to mumble or complain as to where you are.

Trust in the fact that the footsteps of the righteous are ordered by God. I love you very much. I only ask that you follow me as I follow Christ.
