We Must Be Clean

Brethren, our Father, who has saved us so that we can live out His desire to deliver the lost, is warning us before it is too late. God is faithful to reveal the heart that has turned from Him so that we will submit unto Him once again. Let us return to the establishment of our faith. Let us rid ourselves of all uncleanness. This is not an impossible task if we truly desire to be pleasing to God. The same humility and denying of self that it took to get to salvation, is the same willingness to be humiliated that will push us on to completion of this race.

St. Matthew 7:13-14

13. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

As I stated before, there will be so many that will find it impossible to enter at that straight gate but it is not because the Father has not done His part. The way into Heaven will not be found by some simply because of their refusal to go all the way down as Jesus did. I want to encourage us that we do not have to be among the number of those unclean. We can be clean if we walk after the spirit.

Galatians 5:16

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Fellowship with the Father is the only path to holiness; the only way into the kingdom. Brethren, let us not rest until we have been cleaned. Hold fast to the faith,
