INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the “New Members Orientation Class.

This is a time when you will learn about the great reformation that the Holy Spirit has established.

In these sessions you will learn about Mary Banks Ministries and the entities that make up this reformation. As a born-again believer, you will learn God’s heart and mind for His Church, His purpose for sending Jesus Christ and the birthing of the sons of God. You will understand the ministry of Jesus Christ as our example and the opposition to walking as He did on this earth. You will see the “Church” differently and be persuaded of who you really are.

This will also be an opportunity for you to fellowship with your leaders and see the desire of their hearts is only to have you fulfill your purpose in God. They will deposit in you everything that God has given to them, as they seek to reproduce and instill the character of Christ in your life.

Let us open our hearts to receive the pure uncompromising Word of God and allow it to move us as a Body into the heart and mind of the Father.

Mary Banks Ministries

Dr. Mary Banks Apostle & Founder MARY BANKS MINISTRIES Mary Banks Ministries (MBM) is a multifaceted, non-denominational ministry committed to pointing the Body of Christ back to the Father. It is primarily a ministerial training mechanism for the preparation of the Sons of God, who will herald the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is imperative that you understand the vision of this ministry. This will ensure that you do not lose focus, misinterpret or misunderstand the method that God has installed to bring us into the mind of Christ.

The Body of Christ has been divided because of the differences created by man’s doctrines. Apostle Paul admonished the churches to speak the same thing. This can only be accomplished through submission to God's Word, so that the members of the Body can be systematically brought into the mind of Christ. The teachings of Christ must be the foundational doctrine on which every ministry is built. Ministers must then become the first partakers of the Word and lead by example. All opposition to the will of God will be dealt with in this ministry.

We are a “pioneering ministry” that must prove the ‘Word’ in our lives first, in order to persuade others that God’s Word is ‘The Truth’.

Mary Banks Ministries and other ministries like it have been mandated by God to reform the Church. Jesus will return for a Church without spot or blemish. On a whole, the members of the Body of Christ do not believe they can live perfect and without sin, however this is not the Word. We can move into perfection once the sin issue is dealt with. We must come into agreement with what God has done in us; this is not an option for the sons.

MBM maintains Apostolic Order, which is God’s government in the earth. The Scripture has declared and established that the gifts Jesus left to the Body of Christ are the Apostle, the Prophet, the Pastor, the Teacher and the Evangelist for the perfecting of the saints. These gifts are also for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the Body of Christ and will bring us into the unity of the faith (Ephesians 4:11-13).

God's government is a safeguard against being tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:11). The government of God brings unity into the Body and ensures that all members speak the same thing and are pursuing the same purpose—to glorify God.

BIBLE TEACHERS INTERNATIONAL

Bible Teachers International, Inc. is the church component and one of the twelve entities of Mary Banks Ministries.

Senior Pastors have complete oversight of the spiritual and administrative operations performed within this Ministry. Members are trained and developed spiritually through the auxiliaries and ministries within the church and the courses offered at the Global Training Center.

MEMBERSHIP

Application for membership is through the church and qualifies one as a member of the Ministry.

Membership in Bible Teachers International does not mean that you are simply a member of another church. This ministry has a commission from God to develop and train His people in His heart and mind and we are prepared to do so.

The unique thing about Bible Teachers International is that God has not only shown us how to identify the things that dishonor Him, but also ‘how to’ move from those negative places into His righteous, perfected character.

As a member, you must realize that you will be confronted in all areas of your character that oppose God. Members will not be allowed to remain comfortable with sin. You will be taught “how to” live holy and righteous before God and man. This is nothing to be apprehensive about because we only desire to see you to become all that you can be in Christ.

We realize that God is the giver of the gift(s) you have and ultimately it is His responsibility to bring forth those gifts in order to use you for His purpose. We count it a privilege that He has considered us to help to perfect His Body.

This New Members Orientation Class is designed to teach you the foundational principles, the structure and perspective, which have been given to us by the Father to bring the Body of Christ to maturity. On completion of this class, you should be able to immediately function as an integral part of this reformation.

BTI – A REFORMATION

A Reformation is a spiritual movement, intended to correct the wrong doings and effects of erroneous doctrines in the Body of Christ. Its objective is the thorough, comprehensive and permanent change of the erroneous teachings, abuses and corruption to which the church has been subjected. This change will result in the church being conformed into the image of Jesus Christ emerging as God intended it to be.

This is deliverance for those who seize the opportunity to believe, accept and walk in the ‘Truth’. God has said He is coming back for a blameless church, a church without spot or blemish. We have been commissioned to labor with Him to bring about this change in the Body of Christ. The remaking may be painful to the flesh, but it will yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness.

Our objective is that at the end of this class, each prospective member will recognize the privilege, as well as count up the cost of being called into the Body of Christ.

Each member should come to the reality of what it means to be called to serve the Master. This will require most if not all of the following:

•Self-denial Self-sacrifice

•Leaving all Putting God first

•Discipleship Considering the consequences

•Cross bearing Following Jesus’ example

St.Luke 14:26-33

26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
