INTRODUCTION

Welcome to MARY BANKS MINISTRIES, MBM, where the mandate is for the preparation of the saints into ‘Soldiers fit for the Master’s use’. Most of us have a desire to serve God, and some of us know the calling on our lives. Here is a ministry that God has raised up to train us to be able to please Him inside of all our circumstances, situations and relationships. God has given us a sure Word that is able to wash us from a carnal mind and has given our Apostle a method by which we can be trained in the mind of Christ. The auxiliaries are a part of that method, and it is a training ground to prepare us to walk as Jesus did - always in submission to the will of the Father. The word HOSPITICIAN is unique to this ministry and was given to us by the Holy Ghost to make a distinction from the traditional ‘usher’. We are those that have the charge over the order in the congregation as ministers to the body. Be open to see this ministry with a new understanding and not limit yourself to traditional thinking.

APOSTOLIC ORDER

God is raising up an end-time army of saints to walk inside of the Jesus Ministry. To our natural eye it does not seem that this is possible, but God is going to have His desire. The Holy Ghost is the guarantee and He is working toward that end. Jesus is coming back for a Church that is spotless and without blemish. God is going to do this whether we believe it or not, or whether we are a part of that end-time church or not. His church will be transformed from a greedy, self-centered, carnal people to a holy, sanctified, loving presentation and representation of the man Jesus Christ. This Church is going to walk as Jesus walked. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Ephesians 4:11-13

God has put a government in place to ensure the ‘unity of the faith’ and the “perfect man’. This government is the five-fold Ministry - apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. These gifts were given to the Church for the “equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry.” It is necessary for these gifts to be functioning in order for the body to be brought to a place of perfection, “unto the stature of the man Christ Jesus.” When these gifts are all working together, speaking the SAME thing and being perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgement, this church will be transformed. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement.1 Corinthians 1:10

God has started a reformation in this time. His church is going to be transformed from what it is now to the manifesting of Christ in the earth. We have seen individuals walking in some level of anointing, but what God is doing now is raising up His entire body. MARY BANKS MINISTRY is a part of this reformation.

SUBMISSION

In a natural army, there are not only the generals but also the colonels and captains. All truth is parallel, therefore, in God’s army Christ is the Commander and Chief, then there are the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers and leaders of the different auxiliaries or ministries. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Hebrews 13:17

God is raising us to be leaders in the church and in order to be good leaders we need to be good followers. When we submit to our leaders it is one way of showing God that we trust him. All authority is instituted by God. Paul is exhorting the church to be submissive to those who watch over our souls. The president of each auxiliary is being trained how to develop the board spiritually. They are not there because they are perfect. They are being perfected along with the members of the board. Paul makes a distinction between obedience and submission. To obey is a disposition or deed of the flesh, but submission is a disposition or attitude of the heart. Many people can become dutiful and man-pleasers. God is looking for a heart of submission to His Word. There will be no spiritual growth without submission. Submission is to the Word, and the word instructs us to be submissive to each other.

THE FIRST HOSPITICIAN

Our predecessor is Stephen from Acts 6; he was assigned to help ‘wait tables’. It is necessary to see the importance of Stephen’s duties by the care in which the Apostles took to select him. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them. Acts 6:3-6

The Hospitician should not have a mindset of casual ‘church folk’, but a mindset of a servant who is full of faith and wisdom. Hospiticians are persons with a heart to serve God and His people. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people. Acts 6:8

Stephen was greatly used by God. We read of the great wonders and signs that he did among the people. Stephen also has the honor of being the first martyr of the Church. God was pleased with him and blessed him with revelation and an anointing.
