THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST REVEALED

It may seem very strange to you that the darkness of ignorance in the Body of Christ is regarding the very principles of salvation. It is the redemption of the lost soul that is the greatest mystery of all time. It is also the greatest error that has ever been taught to the children of God. I will not be so arrogant as to say that I am the only one given the revelation of the Mystery of Christ. But I will say that the fact that the Lord chose me to install, establish and contend for apostolic order is what qualified me to be one of the ones elected to receive the revelation. Nevertheless, it is the Holy Ghost who has enlightened and led the way.

Tradition told us we would never be one hundred percent holy because our bodies are sinful in contrast to the body of Jesus who knew no sin. We believed this. However, Colossians 2:10, says; And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Being complete in Christ means we lack nothing. It means whatever God did with us is finished and nothing else has to be done. We do not need anything else to accomplish that which God has called us to do and to be. God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. When we say we are deficient, we can only be deficient in those things He told us to add to our faith. God’s work is finished. If we are in Christ, We are complete in Christ.

Circumcision of the flesh

The scripture Colossians 2:11-12 really explains the circumcision of the flesh. However, this is that other half of the gospel that has not been taught in the Body of Christ by most of our present day ministers.

The scripture reads; In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.Colossians 2:11-12

As it relates to salvation, our error came when we only saw the regeneration of the new man from within. Circumcision in the natural is a cutting away of the foreskin from the male genitals. Spiritually, circumcision of the flesh is also a cutting away of the nature and power of the old man, a sanctifying and cleansing of the flesh. It is an operation of God wherein He cut away or removed from us the dominion of sin. When the Adam man died, God took the soul and the spirit and put it in the Holy Ghost. But when we rose, we rose complete in Christ.

We used to think that when our soul and spirit were submerged in Christ we then had the ability to subdue the flesh. We taught that we had the power to bring this body under submission. This is true but God wants to show us why we can bring this body into submission.

The circumcision of the flesh is what gave us power over the flesh. We have no excuses. God took our soul and spirit and put it in the Holy Ghost but He also placed the Holy Ghost back into our flesh. In our ignorance, we did not consider that God dealt with the power of the flesh at salvation. That is so far from the truth. There was a circumcision of the flesh; a cutting away of evil concupiscence by the death of the old man. God cut away the sin and took its dominion away. Then the Holy Ghost, which He gave us, quickened our mortal bodies and brought them alive again unto God. Our flesh is now the body of Christ and no longer a body of sin. No longer does sin live in our flesh with the power to bring us into captivity. The flesh can no longer dictate our actions. the spirit of satan, his nature, and his power has been removed from our bodies. We are no longer his captives. We are free. The flesh has no more control. The nature of Christ lives in the flesh now. It will not rebel against us. It cannot sin on its on. We have to consciously take the body into sinful situations. We are free indeed.

We must look at the rest of the operation of God. We need to remove the questions in our mind as to whether or not Jesus had an advantage over us as it relates to walking in holiness and the ability to please the Father in all things at all times.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

And the very God of peace sanctify you WHOLLY; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our whole body, spirit and soul can be preserved blameless until Jesus returns. In our salvation walk, from the time we are born-again until the return of Jesus, our body, soul and spirit should be blameless. God made sure that the body would be forever blameless in our walk of faith. It is not the body that craves sin anymore. It is the heart or soul of the believer who does not add the principle virtues to his faith that finds himself sinning against God. Your flesh is not a “body of sin.” Jesus came in the flesh to condemn sin in the flesh (Romans 6:3). God does not expect us to have a thought war about sin. His work is finished.

Colossians 2:13

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

We were dead in sin because our flesh was not circumcised. God quickened our flesh alive at the same time He slew our spirit and our soul. Now the whole man is a new creature. As long as our soul is in agreement with the Holy Ghost who lives on the inside, our body is quickened alive unto God. Therefore, it has now become the “body of Christ.”

ENTERING INTO GOD’S REST

When we walk in the Spirit, we do not want to sin. Sin is not a temptation. We are New Creatures. Our body is now the body of Christ. In this body is no desire to sin. It is when we follow after the rudiments of the world that we struggle with holiness. As long as our life stays hidden in Christ, the body is not a problem. We have now ceased from our own labors and entered into God’s rest. I sincerely believe this is one of the most important works I have ever written pertaining to the Kingdom of God. It is certainly one of the most misunderstood subjects in the household of faith.

For many years the church has equated God’s rest with all the material things of this planet. We have focused our attention on a blessed life of prosperity and bliss. Somewhere we lost the realization of God’s purpose for the Church. We did not dare examine the true reason for the sons of God to have been given access to the power, authority, mercy and grace of the Father. However, the time has come for us to take notice and respond to these precious truths. We really do not have much time left to do that which the Father is expecting us to do. We have wasted so much time trying to fill our own bellies and nourish our own souls. We have walked in the vanities of our own minds, and have literally done all we could produce in our imagination. We have struggled with sin and washed ourselves again. We have been stumbling blocks and rocks of offense. We have worked hard to fill our own barns and display our wares. But now there has been a change of seasons and a changing of the guards.

There is a “New Breed,” the 42nd generation, who is not interested in the affairs of this world. We have covenanted with Jesus to take no thought for the things it has to offer. We are content with whatever state we find ourselves in. We have one and only one desire and that is to please the Father. We are purging ourselves of sin and ceasing from our own labors. We have Entered Into God’s Rest. Our purpose in God must be so profound that nothing will move us off course. This will happen when we receive a total awareness of God’s mind and heart. Saints, the Lord has given us access to both. Begin to meditate, yield and relax in the truth. Absorb the truth and allow it to permeate your soul and quicken your spiritual intellect. By doing so, we will begin to see God so much better.

James 4:13

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

How many saints have made plans for their lives? Maybe we want to go to a seminary or Bible College to learn about God. Let me warn you. God’s mind and heart is not always revealed through college administrators. However, it is most certainly revealed to His holy apostles and prophets. When we make plans to secure our life, those plans are for gain. For example, we may think we can do better in a certain city, so we decide to move there and work to save enough money to get the house and car we want. Some people make plans to go to school and learn another trade so they can work a year or two and make the extra money needed to fulfill their desires. The church has been comfortable with making plans to gain and secure its desires. As creatures of habit we tend to emulate that which is before us. Saints look at all this world has to offer and decide what it is they want out of it. Then, the world tells them what they have to do to obtain it. The world has its own set of rules and own criteria for gain. So the Church falls into those slots the world says it must fit into in order to get what it has to offer.

James 4:14

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Wisdom says we do not know what will happen tomorrow. We have not even considered our purpose for life. IF OUR LIFE IS SOMEHOW CONNECTED WITH THE GOOD PLEASURE OF GOD’S WILL, THEN OUR PLANS SHOULD BE TO INCLUDE CONSULTING HIM. The Lord deals with us in our presumption and ignorance. James tells us very carefully:

James 4:15

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

Our plans must be in God’s will. In other words, anything outside of consulting the will of God is vanity, presumption and ignorance.

James 4:16

But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Saints rejoice because they decide what it is they are going to do and how they will do it. They say, “I am going to do this or that.” We boast about our meager accomplishments, but the Lord said all such rejoicing is evil.

James 4:17

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

For the sons of God this scripture takes on a new meaning. It could read like this: for us to understand the will of God for our life and choose not to walk in it, to us it is sin. There are many people who have not heard what we have heard. But, for us who have heard the purpose of God and choose not to walk in it, it is sin.

James 5:1-3

1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Go ahead, proceed. Try to do what you want to do. We, who seek materialistic gain weep and howl because our miseries are coming. To the sons of God the word rich also takes on a different meaning. It pertains to anyone who is not poor in spirit; anyone who is not hungering and thirsting after God; full of their own desires, ways, determinations and will. This is not about going into full-time ministry as you might have concluded, it is about being a full-time Christ. According to James, seeking after materialism will only produce rusted and moth eaten possessions. But when is this seeking materialistic gain unlawful?

Well, beloved, it becomes unlawful when God and His agenda for your life are put on the back burner and worldly success is the motivation for life. However, most people who are seeking after material gain do not have enough money for it to ever rust. It does not have time to get moth eaten. How does this apply to them? They seek and strive for materialism on their jobs or in their businesses. They prosper for a season. But, when the Lord begins to reveal any part of Himself to them, they choose not to walk in what they know to be the total truth, and then the cankerworm and the palmerworm come to eat up their substance. These worms are invisible little demons, which come in and eat up all they are working for.

We will blossom for a season and may look good among our peers. Many will have an honorable opinion of us and desire to be like us. They will desire to dress like us, drive the same kind of cars, have a house as big, a husband or wife who looks as good and make as much money as we make. This is the pursuit of the rich. This is the reward for those who would be rich.

When we belong to God, He does not forget about us. Suddenly, He requires our soul. For the rich man who was gathering up his treasures the Lord told him that his soul was required of him that night. Now, for the sons of God the same principle is true. God will allow us to go on in pursuit of what we are looking for. Go on and try to get it. Go on and work for it. Go to school for it. Go and prepare yourself for it. But, there is going to come a day, son of God, when your soul will be required of you. The Lord is going to claim that same soul that said, “Lord, I give everything to you.” We professed to the Lord that we did not want to live in this world system any longer and told Him to take us as we were. But now we have forsaken righteousness all for the pursuit of things. We could not even come into the Kingdom of God until we were ready to die to this world, but now because of greed and vanity we want to live unto the world.

The Lord says, “Proceed on, but I am coming back.”

We cannot give something to God and then take it back. He is able to keep that which has been committed unto Him. He wants us to desire nothing but Him. He wants to reclaim our emotions, desires and affections. When the Lord comes to take inventory of the things that belong to Him, just because we do not surrender, do we honestly think this stops Him? He simply starts to blow on all that has made our soul so full and bountiful. First, He will blow on our money. Then He will blow on our source of supply so we can make just enough to make ends meet. Why? Our iniquities have separated our hearts from Him. Then He will blow on our affections and relationships. He may put a sword in our house. He will turn children against children, father against son, and mother against daughter.

EVERYTHING THAT WE LOVE MORE THAN HIM, HE WILL TURN AGAINST US. He may come into our marriage and touch us where it hurts the most.

The Lord’s purpose is to bring us back into submission to His will. Why? He wants our affections back. God will touch all that pertains to us. Everything that makes our soul full will be touched. Next, He will work on our reputation. We will not become anything unless He makes us something. All that we have worked to become, all the effort we have put into being somebody, that image we want people to see will be shattered. He will blow on our image. He will take our fancy car and our house we meticulously fixed up and made so nice. He will allow things to break down and we will not have enough money to fix them.

The Lord is zeroing in on us. Why? Because He has an eternal purpose that is more powerful and bigger than our hearts. The things in our hearts we feel we must have led us into destruction and iniquity. God will even cause our hearts to faint. He will bring us to a point where we will look at everything we have gained, everything we have experienced, all that we have had and lost and we will say to ourselves that all this is vanity and meaningless. It is nothing without the pleasure of God. He is faithful to bring us to that conclusion. No matter what we have done and accomplished, it will become void of any real pleasure. Escape the horrors of living outside the will of the Father. Agree with Him and you will enter into the Spirit where striving is no longer an issue. Try it. I promise you will never want to return to that beggarly existence outside of His rest.
