Living in the Fall

This following segment of script is a revelation of the deceivableness of sin. Paul wants us to see its progression in the Sons of God.

Romans 1:18

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Those of us who have received these great truths are accountable with our souls. We will not escape the eternal judgment of God if we hold the truth in unrighteousness.

Romans 1:19-20

19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

We understand the truth because we have received the power of the Holy Ghost, within us dwells the entire Godhead bodily. We are indeed without excuse. God has shown unto us the things He has freely given to every son. We also know that we cannot be His disciples unless we are willing to deny ourselves. We know that in order to reign with Him we must suffer in the flesh denying the passions sin is able to provide. These truths will not go away. They are the cornerstones of our salvation. God will not relent; neither will He compromise His own integrity. But every word that has come forth from Him will be accomplished in the earth.

Romans 1:21

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Note what has happened here. When men do not glorify God (and that glory can only manifest when one is in submission to the Word and will of God); they become vain in their imaginations. In others words, the things they imagine themselves to be able to do or accomplish in the faith are vain. The word vain means empty, without results, foolish, useless and void of purpose. Below are also some synonyms for this word.

St. Mark 7:6

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

A hypocrite is one who pretends to embrace the principles, beliefs and emotions of the faith of Christ, but their behavior speaks otherwise. The truth is never allowed to touch that iniquity or desire that is in the heart.

St. Mark 7:7

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

As I will discuss in more detail later, there are some who might teach the truth from the Bible, but their behavior is what establishes the spiritual connotations of the script in the minds and hearts of the saints. For instance, when ministers of the truth, do not the truth, the people are also observant of it. They hear what he says, but seeing what he does contrary to his own message sets a different precedence in the hearts of the unlearned and already spiritually weak saints. Some will conclude; if leaders do not have to walk in holiness, then neither do I. This is a stumbling block to those who were endeavoring to enter into God’s rest. These are brutish men whose worship, preaching, teaching or praise is in vain. It might profit others (as the Word is truth regardless of the vessel from which it comes), but it will never profit the hypocrite himself. The only thing he has to look forward to is eternal damnation.

St. Mark 7:8-9

8. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

9. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Jesus grabs us by the jugular; hypocrites will consciously and fully reject the commandment of God so that they can have their own way. Hypocrisy is all about the individual and what he or she wants. It has no regard for the spiritual welfare of those it affects. Beloved, this is wasted effort. It is going nowhere with God. What does it profit us to get what we want at the expense of fully rejecting the commandment of God? “Wantonness and the lust of the flesh have caused hearts to become emboldened against Me,” says the Lord. “They have encouraged themselves and made themselves confident in their defiance of my Word and the way of holiness.” This is so true. After having divorced his wife to marry his mistress, one minister said in the middle of his sermon, “I am going home tonight and make love to my queen, and if I am on my way to hell, I can stop and say God has surely been good to me.” At that saying other ministers present who knew of the situation applauded and embraced this arrogance with a profound, ‘Amen.’ Truly men have encouraged their own hearts against the principles of God. Nevertheless, my heart goes out to the other young ministers who noted the actions of one who presents himself as the apostle of Jesus Christ to be sanctioned by God, thus bringing them into co-spiritedness with heresy. As stated earlier, hypocrisy has no regard for those who really want to please the Lord. It is ruthless and abortive. It completely aborts the eternal purpose of God in the lives of those who follow the workings of the unrighteous. When groups of ministers can come together and rally behind and applaud blatant, open sin, they have lost their way and are blind guides. They and the ones who follow them both will fall in the ditch. I continue to hear the Lord say, “Silence is agreement.” We are the ambassadors of Christ. But it seems those who serve in such offices in the world have more integrity than we who serve in the name of our Lord. The ambassador for the United States of America speaks for the president of our nation. He is the president’s mouthpiece on foreign soil, just as we are Christ’s mouthpiece in this evil world. But or if another speaks those things that are not the heart and mind of our President, then it is the responsibility of the U.S. Ambassador to rehearse the truth and relay the mind of his leader. Are we to do any less?

We cannot be passive when sin is pouring in and putting itself on display in the Body of Christ. We are charged to bring correction, not with lies, accusations, innuendoes, malice and hypocrisy; but with love and grace always seeking to make peace and restore righteousness. I know by the grace of God, all will not receive those who approach them in the Spirit of God. Some will make monuments of their own lies and lying lifestyle. These monuments are placed before the people of God for worship and acceptance. Those who embrace such behavior place their own soul in danger of hell’s fire.

Titus 3:10-11

10. A man that is a heretic after the first and second admonition reject;

11. Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

A heretic is one who holds fast to his own opinions and beliefs that contradicts the Word of God. Paul instructs Titus to give him two warnings, and if there is no repentance, reject him. Such a man is subverted. He has undermined and overthrown the government of God in his life. In doing so, he has condemned himself. If you are fallen or have become co-spirited with those who have opposed the righteousness of the Word, then repent and turn away from such. If not, it will not end well with you. Run to God, fall on your face and beg for His mercy. Stop the madness before He rejects you as you have rejected the righteousness of His Word. We must be more than preachers and teachers of the Word, the righteousness of it can only be seen in our daily lives. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
