THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY

How does faith fit into all of this? THE OPERATION OF FAITH BROUGHT YOU INTO THE BODY BY INTERCESSION AND PROPITIATION. How do we move from hanging onto salvation with one finger, to taking our rightful places in the Body? You can’t study enough to get there. Seminaries do not teach you the spiritual development of a pastor, teacher, prophet, evangelist or an apostle. Most of them do not understand the meaning of this dispensation of grace. You must be brought there, so what do you do? When you enter the Body you begin your spiritual traveling in the veins, which can be represented here by the SPIRIT OF JUSTIFICATION. However, it is the OPERATION OF FAITH that gets you to your rightful place in the Body. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:4-5

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

There are many manifestations of gifts: tongues, interpretation of tongues, word of wisdom, prophecy and faith, etc. Administrations are the offices through which we minister and it is the five-fold ministry that is responsible for the perfection of the Body.

THE ADMINISTRATORS ARE THE APOSTLES, PROPHETS, EVANGELISTS, PASTORS AND TEACHERS.

They are to make sure Faith remains alive in the Body (The Church). They are responsible for carrying the saints. If you came into the Body through the finger but your calling is in the leg, the administrators must move you over to the leg. Everyone must take his rightful place in the Body. And there are diversities of operation, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

1 Corinthians 12:6

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

DIVERS OPERATIONS MEAN MANY DIFFERENT OPERATIONS. In this passage of scripture, the Word teaches us there are different things happening, but it is God who is working all in all. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

Ephesians 1:19

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

God the Father has a power that is working in His Church. You may be able to read and comprehend, but that does not make you a teacher. You are not a pastor just because you can get people to follow you. The Lord wants to PERFECT His Body! This is the very reason there is so much defeat and no power in the Body of Christ. The devil has made a mockery of the Church because until now the stature of Jesus has not yet been revealed. There has not been any clergymen who has had “guts,” or courage enough to stand and work inside this framework. When you did find an apostle, you don’t find an evangelist because he was off doing his own thing. When you found the evangelist, you couldn’t find the pastor because he was afraid he had to issue out some money. The teacher was not allowed to teach because he may have influenced some of the members and taken a little glory from the pastor. God is looking for somebody with tenacity to say, “I am an evangelist, but let me attach myself to the apostle. I am a pastor, but let me get attached to the evangelist. I am a prophet, but let me submit so this frame can be fitly joined together because there is something each one needs that the others can supply.”

YOU NEED TO DISCOVER WHAT IS THE ORDER OF GOD. God does not want lone ranger ministers or many different churches. For too long, saints have been off doing their own thing with little, if any, submission. GOD IS A GOD OF ORDER, AND EVERY VESSEL GOD WORKS THROUGH MUST BE IN SUBMISSION TO ANOTHER. If you find a pastor who is not in submission to God’s order, he will never reach his potential in God. He’ll do a few things but he will be contained and after awhile he will become a glorified baby-sitter and never minister “New Testament” life to the multitudes. YOU CANNOT OBTAIN GLORY WITHOUT SUBMISSION. You cannot be glorified in whatever position you have in the Body until you submit to the Body. Many operations are going on in the Body of Christ, and we need to know what these operations are? It is the effectual working of God’s power, and you must understand what this power, the Holy Ghost, is doing? He is taking you into your destination, your place in the Body. Your trials, tribulations and persecutions are all operations of the Holy Ghost. Knowledge, understanding and revelation are an operation of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit of Enlightenment is an operation of the Holy Ghost.

THESE ARE ALL OPERATIONS OF FAITH MOVING YOU THROUGH THE VEINS OF THE BODY. The fastest way to get to your position in the Body is to float on FAITH. YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO RECEIVE THE MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY GHOST IF YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE CARRIED TO THE HEART OF GOD. Some people say they have a gift. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Why? Because true sons must spend time inside God’s heart and mind. This is where a son will pick up what he needs when he gets to his position in the Body. For saints who do not understand the intent of God as it relates to principalities and powers, the good pleasure of His will and being accepted in the beloved, these truths have no meaning. It is just information. You would never give up your business or job or loose yourself from demonic companions so readily without knowing God’s intent. When God’s two-edged sword cuts you loose, you will begin wheeling the sword yourself. Why? Because you understand the intent and purpose of God for the Church. You will have experienced the justification or redemption, but now FAITH WILL BRING YOU GLORIFICATION. There are not many churches that can say they have the five-fold ministry in place for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry. Praise God and thank Him for the perfecters. Many pastors are not concerned whether you work in the ministry or not. They are concerned mostly with whether you glorify them. No one is concerned about perfecting you and handing you over to God and saying, “Here is the bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. I have given this vessel the strength that was in my bone, and I have fed it of my flesh.” What is the head going to do without the body or the leg without the foot or the arm without the hand? There is no part of this body that is self-sufficient enough to operate on its own.

FAITH CANNOT FLOW BECAUSE THE BODY IS NOT TOGETHER. When the Body comes into God’s order, then FAITH can flow. FAITH IS POWER AND POWER IS THE MOVEMENT OF THE HOLY GHOST. Saints, the five-fold ministry was created to perfect you. You must spend time inside God’s heart and mind! Some of you have come out of God’s heart and mind with wisdom and you are ready to operate. But, if you do not have wisdom, stay in His mind and heart until you get it because all your knowledge, understanding and revelations are void without wisdom operating. How do you get wisdom? Through the framework . . . the perfectors! Your perfectors will teach you wisdom and the Father will give you the increase. There is wisdom in a multitude of counsel. A foundation has to be laid in your life. Hebrews 12:18-22

18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Heavenly Jerusalem is where our citizenship is now. However, as long as you insist upon being a part of the world’s system, you will never truly serve the Lord. Jesus said before He left, “Behold I go to prepare a place for you. Where I am there ye may be also.” SPIRITUAL JERUSALEM IS THE PLACE JESUS WENT TO PREPARE FOR HIS KINGDOM. Why Jerusalem? Because it is the city of government that will rule the world. It is where Christ will rule in the Millennium. “The innumerable company of angels” belongs to us and is a portion of our substance. We need to reside in New Jerusalem because that is where our help lies. FAITH IS THE OPERATION OF THE HOLY GHOST. Faith is not just believing. God is bigger than your belief! “Faith is the substance” and part of your substance as a believer is “an innumberable company of angels.” The same angels who pulled down the walls for Joshua at Jericho and fought the battle for Gideon are now our ministering spirits. I said, “Lord, why Jerusalem?” He said, because not only is it the city of government, but it is the treasure city. You will always find the riches of God’s glory in the capital city, as the riches of God were always kept in His temple. Wealth is earthy, but riches are heavenly. Until you receive the riches, you will not obtain the wealth. The riches of God are revealed to us in

Ephesians 3:16-19

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

.When you need more riches, it is just a matter of entering into the temple! Why? Because you are now a high priest, called apart from among men FOR MEN. The Lord said to come to Him inside the holy city (temple) and get what profit you need. God’s riches are not given to buy a new car, but spiritual riches are for begetting sons. His capital city is also fortified and this is where the power lies. THESE RICHES GIVE YOU THE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD. When you get inside the veins of the Body, you will be led to the riches of God. Some saints only seek after the gifts, especially healing and miracles. The teacher needs the Word of Knowledge and Word of Wisdom. But, if the teacher ever needs a miracle, it is in the FAITH. This is why Paul in the midst of his teaching was able to stop, raise the dead and then go back to teaching. While Paul was instructing the elders, there came a woman running behind him. Paul turned around and said, you unclean spirit come out! Paul wasn’t grabbing for gifts, they were there when needed. Why? The heart knows when and what you need and it is going to pump what you need to profit with in your ministry. These abilities are divided to the Body according to the will of the Holy Ghost. You need an anointing placed on your abilities for the begetting of sons, for the raising of sons and for the perfecting of sons. You must reside in Jerusalem, in the general assembly as you are in the tribe of Judah. To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.

Hebrews 12:23

23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Your sisters and brothers have something to supply and you should be happy there are those who know the Lord and can teach you how to fulfill your purpose in Him. Thank God you can now enter the company of just men who have been made perfect and be glad there are pastors who won’t allow you to hang yourself with a religious rope. We (this new generation of perfecters) refuse to allow you to be a sanctified failure, a spiritual retard or a Holy Ghost filled midget. We refuse to leave you in any kind of spiritual deficiency. You must reside in spiritual Jerusalem because it is the origin of your faith. FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE, THE RICHES OF GOD’S GLORY, THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT AND THE GUIDANCE OF HIS SPIRIT. You must make sure you take full advantage of your citizenship so you can receive everything to which you are entitled. You must realize you have entered into a spiritual kingdom and why you have not been raptured off the earth or translated into the new world of peace yet. You are still here on earth and the only reason for the delay is for the begetting of more sons. You need to understand the diversities of the operations that will carry you into your place of ministry and how you get baptized in ministry.

The man Jesus, after having studied the Holy Torah, realized He was the subject of the Book. Can you imagine Jesus, at thirty years old, sitting in the temple listening to the Word being taught from the Old Testament and was the only man in the world who had the Holy Ghost and who could totally understand the spirit in which it was written. Jesus had a revelation of the written Word. What caused the Son of God to yield to such a destiny when He had the ability to refuse it? Why would He accept such a challenge? What caused Him to finally submit to His purpose, which included death? After years of learning and giving Himself over to the scripture, Jesus received something out of the heart of His Father. He received grace. St. John says, He was full of grace and truth. GRACE IS GOD’S INFLUENCE. When Jesus studied, the Holy Spirit ministered to Him and influenced Him. This Grace made Him peculiar and this same Grace is designed to make you peculiar. What the Holy Spirit ministered had an effectual working in Jesus; therefore, He began to move from Glory to Glory. Because of the influence of God the Father on Jesus’ heart, this influence was reflected in His life. You will never move into your ministry until you have been influenced by God the same way Jesus was by the Grace of God. Because of that influence, Jesus learned obedience. That influence said, go all the way. You can trust me. Jesus read in the Psalms He could trust His Father with His eternal soul. And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Hebrews 5:9-12

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Jesus learned obedience by the things He suffered. How are we going to get there? In order to move from salvation to a pastorate, an apostleship or evangelism, you must be obedient. If you are ever going to have the power to change other men’s lives, you must be obedient to God and His Word and His government. Obedience is something a new born babe must learn in God’s Kingdom. You must learn how to obey the Father. You must discover what He allows and what He does not allow. You must be trained in sonship in order to take your place in the Body. Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Galatians 4:1-2

1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Chronological age does not mature you! Tutors and Governors are called perfecters and all born again believers are called to submit to those who have the rule over them. Perfecters watch for your soul and discerning of spirits gives them the ability to watch what is going in and out or your soul. What are they watching for? They are watching how the Lord and/or the enemy is dealing with you. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.

1 Peter 1:3-4

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

You are now the son of God and no one can change that. This is not a club you join. This is not something you get into today and jump out of tomorrow or something you get into today and the devil takes you out next year. You must be BORN into it! There is nothing that can corrupt your relationship with God. When I say relationship, I mean in the sense that He is the Father and you are the son. The devil cannot touch that parental relationship you have with God. That is why some of you need to stop thinking you must come back every six months to get re-saved. The Word declares if the work of the cross cannot make you secure, then there is no other sacrifice that can. If Satan can touch your paternal relationship with God, then what good is the New Covenant? The covenant Jesus left would be no better than that of bulls, rams and doves. But, His blood is much more powerful. ONCE YOU ARE BORN INTO THE ROYAL FAMILY, YOU ARE SEALED UNTIL THE DAY OF REDEMPTION. You might be disobedient, out of fellowship and chastened by the Father, but you still belong to Him. He sometimes takes some of His children home because they become stumbling blocks to others. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations.

If your calling is to be a pastor, you may be on your way from the finger or the foot to the arm or leg of the Body. A PASTOR NURTURES AND DEVELOPS OTHER SOULS. How do you get from the finger to the foot? If your character has deficiencies in it, it must be purified before true service can be rendered. You have the Holy Ghost, but you have not allowed the life inside Him, which is that of Christ, to come forth. So, now comes the operation of the Holy Ghost to sanctify you wholly! THESE OPERATIONS ARE WHAT THE WORD REFERS TO AS FAITH. Faith did not start with you. Faith is the operation of the Holy Ghost. HE IS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF YOUR FAITH. You have been put inside the vein. As you travel toward your spiritual destination, FAITH (the Holy Ghost) discerns you need to develop temperance because you still have a temper or you are a lover of mammon. Therefore, He instructs the vein (justification) to take you into an operation or situation that has circumstances strictly designed for you.

LEARNING OBEDIENCE IS AN OPERATION OF FAITH. Why? Because by the time you get to the foot as a pastor, you cannot afford to be greedy, proud or temperamental. Look what has happened to us. We have been sitting under people who did not travel through the heart of God. There was no FAITH operating through the Body. They did not have the five-fold ministry (perfecters) in place to tell us, you can’t move from here because you still have some greed left in you. You are still minding the things of the world, or in order to move to your rightful place there must be a cutting away from the thirst and hunger for the thing of this world. You must develop the mind of Christ. Notice, I have not said anything about belief. You mean Faith is operating with you? You mean God does not need you confessing scriptures over and over again to operate? You mean you did not have to bind and loose anything? Faith says, the flesh is not under. So, it stops and creates circumstances designed to reveal your spiritual weaknesses. If given the right set of circumstances this brother will commit fornication or adultery, says Faith. If I allow him to float on to his position as a pastor, he’s going to have a harem and be brought to an open shame.

Therefore, circumstances are instituted to reveal these weaknesses before the dispensing of the pastoral anointing. Paul said there are many diversities of operations. God will have you perfected! He has to clean you up by revealing your deficiencies to you. The reason you may not know your deficiencies is because the right set of circumstances have not been presented to you. There were some things I said I would never do until I found myself in the midst of them. I did not know this, but Faith did. HOW CAN FAITH BE OPERATING WITHOUT ME? BECAUSE FAITH IS THE HOLY GHOST. Faith has many different ways of getting what He wants. He can create any circumstances He needs that will reveal to you your weaknesses. He says, “I’m big enough to create a trial and I’m big enough to deliver you out of it. I’ll set you up so royally, let you walk right into it and let you fall flat on your face. Then, I’ll pick you up and bring you out.”

FAITH IS OPERATING WITHOUT YOU AND THE ONLY PART YOU PLAY IN THE PROCESS IS SUBMISSION. First, the Spirit is going to make you aware of why you are in the trial. You might not know how you got into it, but you will surely know why. The Holy Ghost will let you know He brought the trial so you will see where you stand. Secondly, He wants you to “glean” experiential knowledge. If you are to be a minister of the kingdom, then you must understand the operations of the enemy so you will not get caught up in them. You must understand in every test what the devil did, what God was doing and what your responses were. If not, you will go around in circles until you do come out with experiential knowledge. You will not move through the body because you will cause a blood clot and will stop faith from operating and flowing into other parts of the body for the begetting and perfecting of souls. You do not want to be the reason for a blood clot! You must keep faith flowing so others can be increased. When babes in Christ come into The Church and see the saints caught up in trials and not going through them properly, it causes them to faint. They may see horrible examples. Why do they faint? Because there is a clot and they cannot be supplied.

They came in elevated, but faith cannot flow and leaders become stumbling blocks. Make sure you “glean” out of your trials everything you are supposed to learn, so the trials won’t be repeated. Faith (the Holy Ghost) wants you to understand what happened because He wants to take you on to perfection. If you are the cause of a blood clot in the body, then you are stagnated and cannot move from faith to faith. Therefore, the heart (Holy Ghost) must pump grace (God’s influence) to the point of infraction. If received, then the clot is removed. If you are not fully persuaded, then you cannot move (be increased) within the body. Being fully persuaded does not mean you are to conform. GRACE MEANS YOU HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED! When you are transformed that foreign entity (blood clot) is no longer a part of you. God is not going to allow you to move and progress in the body until you have been transformed. TRANSFORMATION IS THE EVIDENCE OF INFLUENCE. There is a difference in being conformed and transformed. If you were caught up in adultery, you could conform if you were caught. But, you would be transformed if you were influenced. You can be transformed by influence if you are never caught or made ashamed. THE MERE FACT YOU HAVE SINNED AGAINST YOUR GOD CAN TRANSFORM YOU. He dispenses grace and that grace influences your heart. You allowed grace to transform you even though no one knew about your sin. Peter said, “If need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations” (

1 Peter 1:6

6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

Why? Because the influence of God in a situation will cause you to learn obedience, and when you learn obedience it takes you to another level of glory. Faith takes you from glory to glory by obedience. Each time you submit to the operation of the Holy Ghost, you move into more glory. That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

You are going to be tried until Jesus shows up in you. THE PERFECTING OF FAITH PRODUCES CHRIST IN YOU. Perfection does not come forth just because you are spiritually educated and articulate enough to read and comprehend. Perfection is not produced because you can stand before a congregation and overcome your shyness, nor does it come forth because you are not afraid to pray for people. PERFECTION IS MANIFESTED WHEN THE CHARATER OF CHRIST COMES FORTH. Then, you can take your rightful position. Knowledge reveals the need to submit to the Father. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

What is the end of your journey? By the time you get to your position, your soul will have been saved. Not from hell, but from Earth. Your soul will have been redeemed from Earth and brought into heavenly Jerusalem. FAITH IS DESIGNED TO REDEEM THE SOUL. You will have learned obedience by the things you have suffered. But, there is another process going on at the same time. There are sufferings by trials, tribulations and persecutions, which will produce the redemption of your soul from Earth. However, the gifts are acquired when you move through the heart of God because He knows what you are going to need when you get to your place of ministry. When you grow in grace, God dispenses other gifts. EVERY HIGH PRIEST MUST OFFER BOTH GIFTS AND SACRIFICES. The high priest offers up gifts in two ways. He has the ability to dispense gifts. The Holy Spirit will tell him what the people need. You may not have a certain gift but will need it for your ministry. I am just a vessel, a perfecter, a channel, a propitiation, an intercessor, and can lay hands on the saints and dispense needed gifts in the same way Paul dealt with Timothy. He knew what Timothy needed, so by the laying on of hands he dispensed to him what he was going to need to fulfill his ministry. Secondly, the High Priest must offer his own soul as a sin offering to the Lord as a propitiation for the lost or the ignorant to which he has been called as intercessor on their behalf. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Hebrews 13:7

When Paul says rule, He’s not talking about lordship. A ruler in this passage of scripture is an arbitrator; one who decides, one who brings peace into a situation. Remember Paul said, if there is any disputing among you bring it before the elders. RULERS DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE HOLY GHOST IN ANYONE’S LIFE BUT WORK WITHIN THAT OPERATION. HE IS A MEDIATOR OR AN ARBITRATOR OF DISPUTES IN THE CHURCH. He could be the pastor, or the board of elders, a counselor or whomever. DO NOT FORGET YOUR PERFECTERS. SUBMIT TO THEM. Discern the operations of faith in their lives. Discern how God teaches them obedience and learn from them. Learn from their experiences so you do not have to experience certain trials. Follow those who operate in Faith considering the end of their conversation or lifestyle. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Hebrews 13:8-9

9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST IS THE SAME IN EVERYONE! It is necessary your heart, soul, mind, desires and attitudes be established in grace. Until your heart is established, rooted, grounded and settled inside grace, you are going to travel on every wind of doctrine and be unstable in all your ways. You will be defeated and you will never take your productive place in the body. You will be robbed of your purpose! Therefore, let God influence you. Not with meats. In other words, grace only comes from the heart of God. We discover God’s heart through revelation knowledge. The revelation of Jesus Christ must influence us in order to understand the heart and mind of God! We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

Hebrews 13:10-11

10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

I received gifts when I was traveling through the heart of God on my way to my ministerial position, but, I had to offer them up. Paul said, you cannot eat of this. It is not for you, it is for men. YOU WERE ORDAINED FOR MEN. The gift is not for filthy lucre or fame. Discerning of spirits is not for gain or gossip. The gifts were ordained for the spiritual development of men, for the perfecting of the saints to come into the work of the ministry. They are not given to make you rich. You cannot eat of these gifts! Your influence (perfecting) will come from a person who has a revelation of Jesus Christ. It is not for a reputation that we are able to discern spirits. You cannot eat of this gift because it is for the perfecting of the saints. You must always remember that! You receive a Word of Knowledge because it is effectually needed. We are a channel of blessing for others. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Hebrews 13:12-13

If Jesus suffered, so shall we. If we are going to reign with Him, we are going to suffer with Him. So, if need be you will enter into manifold temptations until you learn obedience. As the high priest must offer up both gifts and sacrifices, your gift must be offered up too and given back to God. Whatever you take out of the heart of God, you must offer it back to Him in the way of procuring or perfecting souls. This is the offering up of the gift. If you want power to beget sons, or perfect sons, as well as power to change circumstances, then it takes sacrifice! This is another type of suffering and propitiation. I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Romans 12:1-3

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

What makes your body a living sacrifice? Your soul. Adam became a living soul. Every desire, every plan, every emotion, your will and all your decisions must be sacrificed to God. Why? Because you have another purpose. You do not need to go to school ten years to be a doctor, you have healing in your hands. You do not have to go to school to be a psychiatrist, you have the Word of Knowledge and the Word of Wisdom and you have discerning of spirits. You have a different calling now with a new purpose. The Lord wants as a sacrifice everything that causes you to live, everything that pertains to you. He wants your life and all your desires. The Lord wants your soul. He wants you to enter into His rest by ceasing from your labours and doing the work of the ministry to glorify the Father. Notice the sacrificial animal was killed before it was consumed by God. It was put on the altar dead. By the time you get to your place in the Body, you will have learned much obedience and died in many ways. Your soul will have been offered up and the Lord will bestow on you an anointing, the power of the atonement. If you want resurrection power, then lay your soul on the altar and allow the Lord to consume it. If you think you can settle for offering up only your gifts, you will never have any power to change the circumstances in the lives of others. Sometimes your gifts will work and sometimes they will not. Why? Because they are not working with their counterpart, sacrifice. WHEN YOUR DESIRES AND WANTONNESS HAVE BEEN PRONOUNCED “DEAD” BY THE HOLY GHOST, YOU WILL BE RAISED IN RESURRECTION POWER. Then, you will have ENTERED INTO GOD’S REST.
