INTRODUCTION

I sincerely believe this is one of the most important works I have ever written pertaining to the Kingdom of God. It is certainly one of the most misunderstood subjects in the household of faith. For many years the Church has equated God’s rest with all the material things of this planet. We have focused our attention on a blessed life of prosperity and bliss. Somewhere we lost the realization of God’s purpose for the Church. We didn’t dare examine the true reason for the Sons of God to have been given access to the power, authority, mercy and grace of the Father.

However, the time has come for us to take notice and respond to these precious truths. We really don’t have much time left to do that which the Father is expecting us to do. We have wasted so much time trying to fill our own bellies and nourish our own souls. We have walked in the vanities of our own minds, and have literally done all we could produce in our imagination. We have struggled with sin and washed ourselves again. We have been stumbling blocks and rocks of offense. But now there has been a change of seasons and a changing of the guards. There is a “New Breed,” the 42nd Generation, on the scene, who are not interested in the affairs of this world. We have covenanted with Jesus to take no thought for the things it has to offer. We are content with whatever state we find ourselves in. We have one and only one desire and that is to please the Father. We are purging ourselves of sin and ceasing from our own labors. We have ENTERED INTO GOD’S REST.
