THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST

There are some of us in the Body of Christ who have come to the reality of the truth. We have understood the responsibility given to us as sons. But still, there are many who have not quite grasped this reality and are lagging behind. They desire to be a part of the reformation, but the cares of this world are trying to choke that desire out of them. Instead of making the ultimate choice (self-denial), they are seemingly stuck in limbo, as if they are waiting to see what is going to happen. It is time for the Body to come together in the unity of the faith. This can only become a reality when the saints have come to that place of spiritual maturity.

St.John 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

By the operation of Faith, we were born again. The old man has passed away and all things are new. However, it is with the mind that we serve the Lord (Romans 7:25). Most of the saints who have not come into walking in the Spirit are caught in the web woven by the workings of the fleshy mind. Many are thinking themselves out of the faith. The fleshy mind must be renewed by the influence of the Word and the Spirit of God.

Colossians 3:10

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

The New Man has access to the knowledge of God and godliness if he submits to the voice of the Holy Ghost within. The fleshy mind must be renewed in this knowledge if you are going to achieve holiness, for it is the mind that governs the activities of the flesh. If you are stuck in limbo it is because, either you are totally ignorant of the knowledge of the sons of God, or you have not accepted the knowledge as law for your life. If this is the case, then you are merely walking in rebellion and consistently opposing yourself. I can say that the people who are the first to receive this Word (those at the Mary Banks Global Training Center and Bible Teachers International) are not ignorant and have been privileged to hear these truths for many years. Therefore, there can only be one conclusion. Those who lag behind and struggle with sin and wantonness are those who have not considered these truths as mandatory issues of life and death. I also want to insert here that because we have received the Holy Ghost, we are right now the sons of God. The knowledge of God is within us.

1 Corinthians 2:16

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

At the new birth we received the mind of the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of this mind, we are able to receive instructions and commandments from the Father. The commandments are written in His Word. The mind of Christ gives us the ability to comprehend the will of the Father, as well as the power to obey. It is the mind that has been tried and tested, never failing the Father. It is that mind that must govern the deeds of the flesh. Your will, however, alienates you from that mind if you decide, as a New Creature, to turn from the faith and go after the way of this world. All that is in the world is the way of the flesh. If this is your decision, then you will not have the mind of the Spirit as an ally in this venture. Therefore, you will be forced to submit yourself to the carnal workings of your fleshy mind, void of the influence of the Holy Spirit. This would be a sad end for a son of God.

1 John 3:9

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

The above passage reflects the mind, heart and purpose of the Father for the sons. The sons of God do not commit sin. They are sinless, even as Christ was sinless living in the midst of a perverse generation. As He is, so are we in this world today.

ANOTHER CHRIST

Satan has subtly come into the church, entered the pulpit and created another Christ. This other Christ manifests himself in various belief systems, denominationalism, materialism and character imperfections. All of which are ministered as if they are relatively acceptable unto the Father. There is no continuity to this other Christ. He is holy sometimes and sometimes he is not. He is wanton at times and in hot pursuit of the wealth of this world. Sometimes he accepts women ministers and sometimes he does not. Of course he has character flaws, for there is no way he can live in flesh and not occasionally sin. I DARE SAY THAT THIS IS A CHRIST WHO IS FOREIGN TO THE FATHER. Nevertheless, it is “this Christ” which the Church expects the Father to rapture from the earth.

2 Corinthians 11:3

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

I dare the Body of Christ to accept the fact that there are no complications, no complex workings involved in manifesting Christ. He is the same today as He was 2,000 years ago. But false doctrines, which are nothing more than the attempt of man to justify his own unrighteous disposition, have corrupted the minds of the saints. They are grossly deceived and complacently submitting themselves to the beggarly elements of this world.I sincerely believe that when a man of God ministers that which is untrue, even in ignorance, there is always a check in his spirit. That check is there so that the righteous man will seek the Lord for truth and clarity.

The Lord knows those who do actually hunger and thirst after righteousness. He promised to fill them and to lead and guide them into all truths. Whether or not the truth is embraced, the Lord has fulfilled His promise. He has opened the dayspring of knowledge and the sheep are beginning to hear His voice. They have been waiting to hear from the Master. They are coming out of the darkness they have walked in for so many years. They are hearing and receiving a word that is sure and pure. A word that is full of faith and power. The knowledge of God is destroying the “Lie” in the lives of those who embrace it.
