THAT LIFE IS THE LIGHT

PART V

A: PARTAKERS OF “THAT LIFE”

God thought it not robbery to reveal unto His holy apostles and prophets those mysteries, which in other ages were not made known unto the sons of men.

Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:5

Right now, if we are in Christ, we are new creatures and we have the right to call God, Father. This is what the Word has done. Many are walking in “that Life” that is not of this world though “that Life” is in this world. God has convinced many that He will take care of our every need according to His riches in glory (Ephesians 3:16-19). We do not have to go to Him for bread or water, because in us is the bread of life and the living water. We do not have to ask Him for an answer, because we are the answer. We have the right to go to the Father and ask for forgiveness for others, and we have the right to ask our Father to save a soul because we are kinsman to man. We are heirs to the Son! Situations are no longer hopeless, because when we come on the scene, we bring the same ‘One’ who hung on a tree thousands of years ago.

Carnal Christians cannot be partakers of “that Life” because they are still walking after the flesh. Many are only hearing bits and pieces and trying to figure out what God is saying, while others are eating every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. It is required that we, as stewards, be found faithful.

II Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Amplified Bible

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

The Word of God comes exposing our sin, but it also gives us a route back to the Father. The Word of God is complete and all we need! The messages we hear are so complete because it is the Word preaching. We are not men and women of God looking in the Bible to find scripture to support our ideas. Until we see ourselves as the Word made flesh, we will always walk after the flesh. We are the Word made flesh, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We have to believe this. The enemy has tried to convince us that we are nothing but flesh and blood, but we are more than who we see in the mirror. We are life to those who are dead.

The disciples had a responsibility for all the knowledge they acquired during the three and one-half years they were with Christ. We, too, have been discipled and have a responsibility to obey every Word God has given to us. We can no longer live as mere men and women, but are required to live in the life we are now in. (that Life - the Life of Christ)

It does not matter if we have failed one hundred times in our life, we have someone living on the inside of us who has never failed God. We have a responsibility to dispense this One unto the world, not only as a witness, but putting “that Life” on display and allowing it to be judged by man and the enemy.

Many around us are sick and we are afraid to pray because we feel God will not move until we become “good enough.” There is nothing wrong with wanting to be holy, but the power is not of us. We can stop sinning, but still not be able to heal anyone, until we allow “that Life” to live through us.

GOD WANTED A FAMILY, BUT ONLY ONE LIFE, THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST.

God’s family will be unified with one mind, one purpose and one reason for living.

JESUS PLEASED THE FATHER

Christ was of the divine nature, although God Himself actually had to trust Jesus’ soul. God trusted the natural part of Christ. This is what qualified Him. It would have been unlawful for God to only trust His divine nature, but it was a soul called Jesus who agreed with God.

This is why God can say every soul can agree with Him. Jesus’ soul had desires, fears and infirmities, but agreed with the Father and that is why we, too, can agree with the Father. God is not going to condemn His Holy Ghost, but He is coming for our soul because one man agreed with God proving the way for us all.

The soul of the man Jesus was satisfied with God’s purpose for His life. We are not satisfied and therefore live our lives in turmoil. We need to allow the mind of Christ to lead us. Christ proved God and salvation. He proved what the Holy Ghost in a man could do. The man Jesus, the son of man, has a reward because for thirty-three and one-half years He pleased the Father.

God proved what the Holy Ghost living in flesh could do. God only gave Jesus what He has given us – the Holy Ghost. We say and think Jesus had something we do not have, but this is not true. We try to say it was God in the flesh, but Jesus had a soul as well. We say Jesus was not born of man, His seed was holy, which is true. However, at salvation we were reborn. We are just as Jesus. We, too, are now in the Spirit, lacking nothing. We are just as He was at His birth – everything He had we now have. He saw Himself in the scriptures and believed what He read. This should cause us to want to look in the Bible, find ourselves, agree with God and believe who we are in Him.

We can do nothing of ourselves. Jesus walked in complete humility. Jesus saw Himself in the scriptures, agreed with the Father and began to walk in the Word. Jesus walked in total obedience to the will of the Father. Obeying the Father was not grievous to Jesus.

St. Matthew 11:29

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

B: HUMANITY IN THE GODHEAD

If you make it in the Rapture, will you be able to praise God? Why would we praise Him? Because we made it in. Even if we are the doorkeeper, we will praise Him because we made it to heaven. The book of Revelation speaks of the song that is sung by the house of Moses, and the Lamb lets us know that not only the house of Israel made it in, but also the Lamb’s house as well. That song could not be sung by the angels because it was a song of redemption and angels have not been redeemed. Only someone who has been in sin, lost, alienated from God and on their way to hell can sing that song of redemption.

We can praise Him like no other creature in the universe! When we get to heaven, we will be able to testify of being a Quickening Spirit remembering when we were mere mortals – this is why we will praise Him. We will praise Him for how He changed us. God, in His operation of faith, extended the Godhead to include humanity. The Life that was hid in Christ was a human life and He had to put us with Christ in God Himself, to preserve our life. When we get to heaven, we are not going to forget who we were. Scripture says His eternal purpose is for us to stand before Him in love and be to the praise of His glory. In order, however, to praise Him we have to remember what He has done for us. It is the human part of us that God took and placed in Himself to preserve our life.

St. John 3:10-11

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

Jesus is talking to Nicodemus and is saying “we.” He is testifying of what “we” have seen.

St. John 3:12

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Jesus is telling Nicodemus that he does not believe the earthly things He tells him, so how could he possibly believe heavenly things?

St. John 3:13

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

The Son of man is in heaven. Right now we are seated in heavenly places with Christ. What did God do? He took the human race, those who would believe on His Son, and added them to the Godhead. Our souls have been placed in the Holy Ghost, preserved in the Spirit. Our soul is what expresses our emotions and that part of us that will love God, but that very soul cannot make it to the Father, unless it comes through Jesus.

There is a theological concept in the church called anthropomorphism. Anthropomorphism comes from the same root word as metamorphosis which means a total transformation. We were talking about the Son of man becoming the Son of God through the procedure that God totally trusted the soul of the man Jesus. In the transformation of a son of man to a son of God, there must be the process of the Father trusting our soul. Divinity has to be able to trust our humanity, which means we have to agree with God.

Anthropomorphism is the attributing of human characteristics to God. We try to interpret God by saying the hands of God are strong or the eyes of God see. We are able to perceive God by utilizing this poetic license, which allows us to add human characteristics to God.

Theologians teach another concept called theomorphism. “Theos” means God and “morphism” means total transformation hence theomorphism is the taking on of God-like character by man. It is the humanity becoming Divinity.

However, the theologians never teach this because they do not really understand. God is saying we have to forget about anthropomorphism and become a metamorphosis, which is a transforming of our humanity into godliness by agreeing with God to the extent that He can look down at our souls and say He is well pleased. This is when we come into the Godhead.

Theology cannot cut it. It does not hurt to know it and the reason for this is because we have to reach the theologians. If we cannot teach the theologians, we cannot transform the church, because the church is controlled by the theologians. We have to go in to the seminaries and tell them not to ascribe human characteristics to God, but become God. Then we will not have to worry about defining God, because we will already be in Him. We will know Him and manifest Him because we are ONE.

Time is winding up and Christ is soon to return. We must be about the Father’s business. The Body of Christ must see the urgency to purge itself of everything that offends the Father in order to take “the Life” we have received to a dying world. It is time to agree with God and allow Him to work His will and purpose in and through us.
