The Truth About The Vision Of Seals

There is much to learn in the study of Bible Prophecy. While not everyone may be able to teach it at a scholarly level, one thing is certain—the Lord wants all of us to recognize the signs of His coming and share that knowledge with others. My challenge is to present these studies in a way that allows you to fully understand them. To achieve this, we must break down this vast subject into bite-sized pieces that are easy to grasp. There are many books of the Bible that teach prophecy and can sufficiently add to this lesson. However, for clarity and comprehension, in this teaching, we will focus on answering questions that weigh on the hearts of the entire Body of Christ: When will the Church be raptured?Will it go through the Great Tribulation? To explore these questions, we must first establish a clear timeline of events.

It is important to emphasize that I am not claiming to know the exact day of our Lord’s return. However, the Scriptures provide genealogies and prophetic events that establish dates and timelines. Based on my calculations of these dates, events, and genealogies, it has not been 2025 years since Christ’s first coming. Additionally, we use the Roman calendar, which consists of 365 days per year, whereas the biblical calendar follows a 360-day year, with each month lasting 30 days. In future teachings, we will explore the biblical timeline in greater detail. However, for this lesson, we will begin with the ceremony in Heaven that establishes Jesus as Lord over all creation.

Revelation 1:1-3

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Revelation 4:1-2

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

I started here, because many have used this Scripture as the foundation of their belief that John is representative of the Church in this first verse. They maintain that John was caught up to Heaven, thus signifying the rapture of the church. This is such a profound error. Those who teach this belief do not know or understand the rules of biblical interpretation. In Bible Prophecy, once you break such rules, you will never know or minister the truth of the intent of Scripture. To make John the raptured Church is to break all the rules. It is unlawful for any teacher to assign a person, place, or thing as a symbol depicting something else. That is for the Scriptures themselves to do. In other words, there must be no private interpretation of the Word of God. Scripture must interpret Scripture. Nevertheless, millions of Saints believe this faulty and false teaching. In some cases, I think many prefer to believe it, thus relieving themselves of any concern about being here for the tribulation period.

In later studies, we will get into the many facets of this Book of Revelation, but for now, we will use the Book of Seals to establish the timeline for the rapture of the Church. There is a very important concept regarding the Book of Revelation that many theologians have either not known or have grossly overlooked. There was a time when I was one such teacher. It was the Lord who actually taught me how to read and study this book. What He said to me changed everything regarding the way I study the Book of Revelation. For the sake of this study, I will say:

1. The Book of Revelation is the most uniquely written book of the Bible.
2. It is the seven Seals that have caused theologians to stumble at its order of events.
3. The Seals are not action events, they simply announce the event.
4. The seven Seals serve as a table of contents for the judgments and wrath coming on the earth in these last days.
5. It must be read from that perspective in order for it to reconcile with Matthew, Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Joel, the Psalms, and other prophets.

I want you to study the video that accompanies this lesson carefully, because I can show you better than I can tell you here. As I said earlier, in this study we are going to focus mainly on the timing of the rapture of the Church. I want you to consider these passages again:

Revelation 1:1

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Revelation 4:1

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

The setting is in Heaven at a ceremony of Jesus Christ being confirmed as the Lord of all the earth. At the end of the ceremony, begins the Day of the Lord. Afterward, He will take possession of the earth as its ruling king for the next thousand years.

Revelation 5:1

1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

The Book is a book of the final judgments, the wrath of God, and the vengeance of the Lamb that will be poured out on the earth. Please note that it is a book of judgments and wrath. We must make the distinction here, because the Church is not appointed to the wrath of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:9

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

More than 90% of the the Body of Christ believes that the Church will be raptured in the 4th book of Revelation. This error has been taught by the most famous Bible Prophecy Scholars in the world. But being famous doesn't make you right. So keep your heart open and be willing to accept the truth - believing as the Scripture has said.
