First and foremost, I need us to embrace the fact that the Church has left the common salvation and the faith that was handed down to us by the apostles. If you can’t embrace this fact, then you are very much in denial of the truth; and I must also say that your walk will reflect that denial. Recently, the Lord has seen fit to minister to us directly concerning those leaders in the Body, who have gone off on worldly tangents and are now making mockery of the Gospel of Christ. But in doing so, He basically said, do righteous judgment, which judges the deeds, without judging the individual. In other words, we can readily look at the evil deeds of an individual and immediately apply the penalty for that sin to the offender. That is unrighteous judgment, simply because we will have taken authority to institute final judgment on the servants of God. That is His role, not ours. We must obey the passage below:

1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

I really want us to look at this matter through the eyes of our Father. To do so, He has given us a glimpse of his heart and mind concerning these unrighteous men and women, who dare to call themselves ministers of God.

2 Peter 3:3

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

According to Peter, we who are living in the last of the last days, should expect to see scoffers or unrighteous men and women in the Household of Faith.

Galatians 1:7

…but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Those of us who love the Lord and His people are definitely troubled by what we see happening in the Body of Christ. But what are we to do about it? If you are the authority in your Church, then you have the ability to control that

which is fed to the flock. But in this year, 2024, there are scandals regarding preachers unfolding every day. YouTube is full of such degrading subversions of the Gospel of Christ. This undermining of the power and authority of the Holy Spirit

is indeed damaging to the Body of Christ and to those who are seeking refuge in the Church. Nevertheless, the counsel of the Word is true.

2 Peter 2:9 states,

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Thus, we are to leave them alone. Our ministry is not to bash other ministers, regardless of what perversions they render. The Lord is the one who knows how to deliver the innocent out of harm’s way. If we remain true to our calling, and preach the Gospel out of a pure heart, then, God will exalt His Word in the earth. We have to be content with that.

ATTACKS ON THE WORD

I was sitting on a plane, on my way to Trinidad, when this scripture caught my attention.

John 8:54-55

54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

Jesus was being interrogated by members of the Sanhedrin and other non-believers. It was apparent they were offended by his teachings. They became all the more infuriated when he implied that he was the Son of God. But the truth is, it did not matter how angry they became, the truth remained the same. He was and is the Son of God. These people claimed God as their Father, but Jesus declared that they did not know God. The same is true today. There are those who challenge the message of “oneness,” yet they do it from a position of ignorance. Those of us who know the truth must stand fast in it. We must not be intimidated by verbal attacks, persecution, or any of the like. The truth is the only hope for the world. It is the salvation for the soul. Now, are we to leave out certain parts of the salvation message because it is not palatable enough for some, and too revolutionary for others? I think not. The only reason it seems to be revolutionary is because it, (the truth of the gospel), was forsaken. I dare to say that it has been replaced by a gospel that takes away our power over sin, as well as our divine nature.

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

They are liars, and they attack us with a lying gospel. Their attacks may become even more brutal. However, the truth is powerful enough to sustain us with the ability to say and do whatever is His will. Nevertheless, we must also consider that Jesus died for these false teachers as well. It is true that some are ignorant of their ignorance, while others are willingly ignorant. But the thing they all have in common, is a soul that needs to be delivered from the clutches of satan. Therefore, let us not be judgmental in our dealings with those who frustrate the grace of God. Instead, let us look to the mind of God.
