Do Not Be Annoyed

HEBREWS 12:5-6

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the

Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

One of the things that really pleasures the heart of God is to see us grow in our knowledge of Him. He knows what we know and He will prove our hearts

to see if we honor Him. Trials and temptations are what He allows to prove that we honor or do not honor Him.

ACTIVITY:

Journal some of the things that God has caused you to mature in. Thank Him for them.

I know it is your will that I will grow in wisdom. Father, you said that if I ask for wisdom you will grant it to me liberally. Cause me to always be able to discern your will

and the wiles of the enemy. Grant me wisdom today. I pray this from the earnest of my heart. Amen
