Chapter Four

Please make a real effort to hear my heart, as well as that of the Lord in this chapter. It is a fact that you and many other homosexuals have no confidence in the Church.

Afterall it has in many cases rendered you nothing but judgmentalism and disdain. Truly we have been guilty of judging without mercy and displaying attitudes that were sure to alienate the LBGT community. Though all the above is true, the Lord abides faithful. His love for you is unwavering. He wants to embrace you and bring you into His Kingdom as a true son of God. Although, much of the Church’s disposition is due to pride and malice, a great majority of it was due to ignorance and unbelief. Much of what we saw in church today did not reflect the true power of salvation. We knew the plan and process of salvation, but we really did not respect the power of salvation. But now God is raising the consciousness of our belief to the level that the scriptures declare.

He has given us an understanding of those who live and operate in an alternative lifestyle. Jesus said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind to set at liberty them that are bruised, (Luke 4:18).

In order for you to be delivered from this death, disguised as life, you must first admit that you are a captive of the devil. I am sorry, beloved, there is no nice way to say this. You are a captive of the devil. He has used and abused you. But the good news is that God sent Jesus to bring you deliverance. You may look at your homosexual lifestyle as a sexual preference for the same gender. But

those of us who are born of the Spirit know, all that seem to be preferences have a spiritual origin. We who are spiritual, also know that it is not a preference for those who do not know the Lord, (not born-again), but it is a spiritually motivated and implemented design of satan. Now I want to reveal what the church has failed to understand in the past. In an earlier

chapter, you learned that the spirit of satan is called the ‘spirit of iniquity’ in the scriptures. You also learned that all who are unsaved, are captives of the devil. It is this evil spirit of iniquity that twists the desires of its captives and perverts their minds. The very nature of mankind was changed to that of this occupying spirit of iniquity. Man became evil in his imagination and proceeded to do all that satan inspired him to do. In John 8:44 Jesus said, Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. We were helpless and without hope; held captive by a spirit greater than our own. David

cried out in this despairing condition, Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalm 51:5).

The human body was used by satan to fulfill all his lusts. But this is not limited to the homosexual. The same perversion is in the mind of the man who must be with many women, or the woman who must be with many men, and all sin. I want you to remember that David said, he was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. He is describing a man born in sin, whose body is now wounded (shapen)

by iniquity. Yes beloved, unless you are a child of the righteous seed, conceived by born-again parents, then you too were born in sin. But this is something the church refuses to accept. The truth is homosexuality is sin like any other. Therefore, yes, it is possible that you were born a homosexual. But what is NOT true, is that there is no hope for you regarding deliverance. The devil is a liar.

Jesus came so you might be set free. The fact that you were born in this perversion, does not mean that it is impossible for God to deliver you.

The Mystery of Iniquity Revealed All sexual immorality comes from an evil, lustful spirit of satan. Lust is perverted love; loving and desiring the things that are forbidden. This evil desire doesn’t

just change your preference by causing a man to want a man and a woman to desire a woman, but it actually changes the man into the image of a woman, and the woman into the image of a man.

It takes a man’s mannerisms and makes him feminine and it takes a woman’s mannerisms and makes her masculine. Why? Captivity and demon possession are similar in that they

produce the same thing. As a captive, you have taken on the image of the spirit that lives in you. This spirit of iniquity is more powerful than your will. The Bible calls him a strong man. This spirit

demands that your body conforms to the image of the opposite sex. It was not your preference; you had no choice in the matter. Satan does not come into your body and touch one part

of the mind, but rather invades the whole being. This spirit is not satisfied until the captive resembles it. It must reproduce itself.

A beautiful woman will become so masculine until there will hardly be any signs of her femininity. A handsome young man will look so much like a woman, until men will not be able to tell the difference. It is not your preference; it is a spirit that changes you into the image of its desire. You are a victim of the spirit of sin that came into the world with the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden.
