Just as sin is escalating in the world it is doing the same in the church. Those who have received the knowledge of the truth have become brazen and bold in the house of God. But how is this possible? I mean we are talking about saints who have received the truth, not some watered down doctrines or philosophies of men. However,I must concede the scriptures foretold the truth of the matter. In the last days there would be a
great falling away.
II Timothy 3:1-7
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
It is the lust of the flesh indeed that causes men and women of God to turn from the truth to the darkness of this world. But what is it that makes them haughty and high-minded in the face of truth that condemns their actions? And furthermore how can one who preaches and teaches such truths remain in sin so long? As usual the Lord was faithful to answer this crucial question.
Romans 1:21-22
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Now Paul goes straight to the heart of the matter. The imagination is vain. It holds those things that are without godly substance. Nevertheless, it is capable of creating a new world for traitors and rebels against the truth. The Lord said to me, “Many saints who have fallen away from the faith followed in the paths of leaders who betrayed their calling and the anointing I placed upon them.”
These leaders have refused to add virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, and godliness to their faith (2 Peter 1:5-7). But there is always a consequence to spiritual negligence. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins (2 Peter 1:9). I want to rehearse the things the Lord revealed to me concerning this fallen state.
This blindness simply means one becomes near-sighted. He can only see that ‘thing’ he wants. It becomes the focal point in all that he does.
He cannot see the judgment of God in the distance, therefore it is easy to live as a sinner, or as one who has forgotten that he was once purged of sin.
He lives inside the false safety of his imagination as it provides him with a world in which he is the master and the architect of his life and ministry. He lays out the plans in his heart and feverishly tries to implement them in the real world.
Living In The Imagination Is Perfected Perversion
Everything that opposes the desires of the heart must be dealt with and utterly destroyed. I have witnessed men of God who have such great potential to be a threat to the kingdom of darkness, make enemies of those who have prayed and fought for their very souls. They deem the friends and holy relationships they had with those who walked and worked with them in the faith as evil counsellors wanting to overthrow their world.
According to 2 Peter 2:10, they walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise the government of God.
They are presumptuous (big-headed, conceited and arrogant). Remember, they live within their imaginations wherein God has accepted their design for their life.
They are self-willed. This means they have chosen an alternative lifestyle to that of the script; wherein the truth becomes a lie and a lie is truth. This is perfected perversion.
They are not afraid to speak evil of dignities (those whom God has placed in high level of spiritual authority).
Emotions are perverted. The fallen have perfected indirect thought. You see . . . we who have received so much from God are not willing to sit and think on the sins we have purposed to commit; so we just do them without thinking before or after. If any thought motivated by the conscience seeks to condemn any actions or deeds, it is quickly cast down and labelled ‘of the devil.’ This is easy to do when the lie has been made the truth and the truth is made a lie.
Faith is perverted. When such a one stops to review his or her life, reality reveals a number of years where everything attempted both naturally and spiritually have failed. The truth in such cases is that God is simply not working with that individual, neither is He pleased with him. For if the opposite were true the power of ministry is of God and He will work through the vessel He chooses. But back in the imagination there are always some people available to blame as hindrances to their ministry. It is beyond me how ministers can lay down at night and get up every day with God, and someone whom they only see occasionally can stop the power of God from operating through them. Some move out of the place where God placed them, make themselves archbishops and such, but cannot produce the spiritual credentials that validate their title but condemn and make wailing accusations against those who can.
This is all justified because in their imagination they have been approved of God.
Perfected Perversion is to live in a spiritual matrix. Such a one is asleep and alive only in a dream. But the God of our salvation is faithful and will be faithful to afflict. He will bring down every evil imagination and high thing that has been exalted against the truth. The chastening of God will destroy your false world. It was built with pride, arrogance and haughtiness. It must fall. But when you are awakened, you have a choice. You can take the blue pill and go back to sleep in your perfected perversions; or you can take the red pill and appeal to the blood of Jesus for mercy and forgiveness. The choice is yours. But don’t forget . . . God will vindicate righteousness.
