Anna (Luke 2: 36-38) A Prophetess of God, who served in the temple of God, prophesied of the redemption that Christ would bring.
Apphia (Phile 1:2) Apphia, was an assistant pastor to Philemon.
Chloe(1 Cor 1:11) Chloe, was a pastor who had a church in her home. Her church was partially responsible for the restoration of the Corinthian church.
Elisabeth (Luke 1:40-45) The mother of John the Baptist. She received a revelation that the fruit of Mary’s womb (Jesus) was the Christ, when John lept in her womb. She spoke this revelation saying, “And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” (Luke 1:43). She also prophesied saying, And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those
things which were told her from the Lord (Luke 1:45).
Joanna (Luke 24:10) See Mary Magdalene.
Junia (Rom 16:7) Junia is one of the most relevant women as it pertains to our topic, Women in the Ministry. Junia was a female apostle, whom Paul described as being of note among the apostles.Apparently, she had a mighty ministry, and deep revelation of the mysteries of God. As an apostle, she was not simply sent to women, but to the whole body of Christ.
Mary Magdalene (Matt 28:1-7) Mary Magdalene, Mary the Mother of James and Joses, Joanna, Salome, and other women were appointed as the first preachers of the resurrection of Christ. They were instructed to tell the good news to the 12 Apostles, that Christ had indeed rose from the dead. To tell the good news is to preach the gospel. Hence, they preached the gospel to 12 men. Mary Magdalene was the first eye witness of the resurrected Christ (Mark 16:9).
Mary of Rome (Rom 16:6) Mary along with others, were workers of the ministry in the Roman church. They operated in the gift of helps and in articulation of the word of God.
Mary, the Mother of James and Joses (Also called The Other Mary) (Matt 27:56, 61; 28:1-10; Mark 15: 40-41,47; 16: 1-8; Luke 24: 1-11, 22-24) See Mary Magdalene.
Mary, the Mother of Jesus (Matt 1:16-25), (Luke 1:27-38) The first to receive the revelation that Jesus is Christ, the promised Messiah. In addition, she was among the first to receive the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:14). She was also, a prophetess and a preacher in her own right (Luke 1:46-55).
Persis (Rom 16:12) See Mary of Rome.
Phebe (Rom 16:1-2) A minister (servant) of the church at Cenchrea that was sent by Paul to assist Rome in the work of the ministry She also operated in the gift of helps. She was known for being a help to many, including Paul.
Priscilla (Acts 18:2-3, 18-20, 24-26; Rom. 16: 3-5; 1 Cor. 16:19; 2 Tim 4:19) Priscilla was a pastor (1 Cor 16:19) that was renown among the early believers. I believe she is a noteworthy believer in that she and her husband taught Apostle Apollos (a man) the word of God (Acts 18:24-28). He later on became an apostle of note; being listed among Peter, Paul and Christ (1 Cor 1:12).
Salome (Mark 16:1-8) See Mary Magdalene.
The Daughters of Phillip (Acts 21:9) Phillip had four daughters which prophesied/ ministered (1 Cor 14:3) to Paul and his team when they stayed with them.
The Elect Lady (2 John 1:1) The whole book of 2 John was written to a female Pastor that had a church in her home.
The Other Women – (mentioned in Luke 24:10) See Mary Magdalene.
The Woman of Samaria (Woman at the Well) (John 4:6-30) After receiving the revelation that Jesus was the Christ, she did the work of an evangelist by spreading the good news (the gospel) to all that were in her home city; especially the men.

Women that Labored with Paul (Phil 4:3) These women assisted Paul in the ministry of the Gospel.
