MAN AND WOMAN – ONE IN THE FLESH
In order for us to understand the heart and mind of God concerning His creation, it is necessary to go back to the very beginning. We will look at the Lord’s original response to sin.
Genesis 2:23-25
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Notice the absence of clothing did not gender any shameful or negative thoughts. This being relative to the fact that the woman was taken out of the man. Adam recognized her as the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh. This means that they were one body.
To look upon Eve, was to look upon himself.
Leviticus 18:8
The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
The Lord confirms this conclusion in the ordinances given to Moses to govern the people. Note that God said that thy father’s wife is thy father’s nakedness. Marriage is the institution that rejoins the human flesh. It is the avenue for the coming together of the man and the woman to bring forth offspring, as well as enjoy the sexual pleasures of the flesh.
Genesis 2:23

The Hebrew and Greek word the Lord uses for marry means “to be joined.” It is the rejoining of the flesh and bone of the man. Since the woman was taken out of the man, it follows that the woman must retire, yield or submit to the malefactor when the union takes place. In other words, the marriage is a rendering unto the man, that which was his in the first place. She is the bone of his bones and the flesh of his flesh.
It is often said that the woman is a man with a womb. However, I think a more accurate statement would be the woman is the womb of the man.
Below is a scriptural list of the types of unions forbidden by God the Father. He did not sanction the joining of those who were close kinsman. This implies the closer the kinsmanship the closer the sameness of flesh.
Leviticus 18:9-10
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
Men were forbidden the entrance into women of close kinsmanship, as well as those of one’s father or brother.
If we simply stay with the fact that the wife is the nakedness of her husband, and that the daughter is the nakedness of her father, we can see why these relationships were forbidden.
The term nakedness refers to the revealing of the sexual parts. The woman is the revelation of the sexual parts that once belonged to the malefactor. Marriage and fatherhood establishes a possessive union of the sexual parts. Therefore, a man’s unmarried daughter is his own nakedness.
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
If we look even closer, we can see why many of the sexual unions and relationships men are experiencing today are unlawful. The above scriptures aide in our understanding of the evil of incest and homosexuality.
The Lord forbids man to lie with man. This, He says, is an abomination.
ABOMINABLE, ABOMINATION
denotes an "object of disgust, an abomination." This is said of the image to be set up by Antichrist, (Matt. 24:15; Mark 13:14); or of that which is highly esteemed amongst men, in contrast to its real character in the sight of God, (Luke 16:15). The constant association with idolatry suggests that what is highly esteemed among men constitutes an idol in the human heart.

Rev. 21:27
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Entrance is forbidden into the Holy City on the part of the unclean, or one who "maketh an abomination and a lie."
Those involved in homosexuality maketh a lie. The coming together of man with man or woman with woman or beast is the revelation of the Lie. It is the total transformation of the creation of God into that which is abominable.
This union is one of idolatry in that it also creates an idol in the heart and mind. Note the fervent defense of the rightness of homosexuality from the gay community. Sadly, they do not know that what they are feeling is the work of the devil. Many truly believe that God the Father is responsible for them being what they are.
Homosexuality is the complete perversion of soul and body. It is the image of the antichrist revealed through the human race. It is the end of “The Lie.”
Daniel 11:36-37
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
The antichrist, as described by Daniel, will not regard the desire of women. In other words, he will not be interested in women. He is the idol. He will demand complete worship and devotion to himself. He is the lying image of man. Therefore, homosexuality is the revelation of the Lie. Whether it be man with man, or woman with woman, both are idolatry.
This is important as you will learn later concerning the presentation of the living sacrifice to the Lord. It is not possible that the homosexual can present his body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto the Lord. This lifestyle is an abomination to the Lord.
Revelation 21:23-27
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the
light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour
into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
