I pray that we finally come to a place of peace in our hearts and minds concerning the intent of God for His church. We cannot rewrite or rethink God. The way is set and the path leads straight to a manifested Christ walking the earth in earthen vessels; doing the works God. These are holy vessels sanctified to the truth and blameless in word and deed.
The re-establishing of the apostolic order was the beginning of the reformation. Those of us who walk in the truth are the substance of the reformation. The stage is set for the church to see and experience truth, righteousness and real ministry.
Ephesians 4:11-12
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
The ministry gifts are for the perfecting of the saints. This we have said many times. But here too we must be careful with the mindset we are capable of forming with such truths. Each time we consider ministry bringing saints to perfection we think of bringing them out of sin. But that is not the implication here. The early church members did not start their walk with God in sin. Though some of us may have forgotten, neither did we. They started out as the righteousness of God and complete in all things pertaining to the life of Christ.
Perfection is more than sinlessness. It is servitude and faithfulness as well. We were born into God with all the spiritual attributes of a Son, but it is the ministry gifts that will bring the Body to the knowledge of the things God has freely given to us. It is the gifts of ministry that will teach and train the Body how to use its spiritual senses and gifts of ministry.
Ephesians 4:13-15
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
The gifts of ministry will teach the Body sound doctrine that will create a strong priesthood that cannot be tempted with sin or seduced by the craftiness of men. Perfection is a place that enables us to work ministry and procure more sons. It is that place that fulfills the eternal purpose of God in the earth and makes an open show of principalities and powers in heavenly places.
I John 2:27
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
The anointing we received is the Holy Spirit. There is no need for anyone to teach us what is right or wrong. The anointing teaches us what sin is. As newborn babes in Christ we did not struggle with sin. The struggle now is due to rebellion against the will of God.
However, there is not one of us who can say that when we encounter sin, we do not know it. There is not one of us who can truthfully say that our conscience does not convict us when we entertain sin.
We have learned to override our conscience. As scripture declares, some lay their conscience aside. When our tutors taught us the “doctrine of babes,” it gave us a comfort zone, to grow up in, and made it alright for us to stay in sin for a while.
We have allowed a lack of knowledge to be a comfort zone to justify our sins. Lack of knowledge does not lead us into sin. The Holy Ghost abides in us whether we have the knowledge or not. He gives us an unction that identifies good and evil.
WHETHER WE ARE BABES IN CHRIST OR MATURED SONS, SIN IS BY CHOICE AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!!!
