A REJECTED TRUTH

Romans 2:3-4

3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

It is the goodness and mercy of God that lead man to repentance as He withholds the outpouring of His wrath in these times by tolerating the disposition of man’s mind. God is rich in mercy and allows individuals to experience situations and/or relationships that reveal His attributes, power and continuous calling to repentance.

Romans 2:5

5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

HARDNESS:

A refusal to accept the revealed will and way of God in the heart or even the thoughts of the mind.

IMPENITENT:

Without change of a negative mind

Most saints do not believe in the way of God. It is offensive to them, condemns the negative desires of the mind and restrains the works of the flesh. God’s way demands change;

therefore do not be among those who harden their hearts and close their minds to the truth. If we would only trust in the way of God, it would lead us to repentance. We must trust that the Spirit of Truth found in the Word is enough to change our desires. If we are to ever know true holiness, we must believe this!

Romans 2:6-7

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

We are warned to continue in well doing by entering into the trials of this life without complaint or murmuring. Although we will suffer in well doing, we shall soon receive the eternal promise of the Father.

THE END OF THE LIE

II Timothy 3:1-4

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Men shall be lovers of themselves.

Boast: Any kind of haughty speech that stirs up strife or provokes others.

Proud: Self-exalting

Blaspheme: To slander or speak evil of that which is holy.

Disobedient youth: The spirit of the world despises, rebuke or reproof. The undisciplined youth will proceed to fulfill all the unrestrained lusts of the flesh.

Unthankful: Without appreciation

Unholy: To do that which is unacceptable to God.

Unnatural affection: To desire that which is against nature. Some examples are homosexuality, lesbianism and sex with animals.

Trucebreakers: “One who cannot be persuaded to enter into a covenant.” Not dependable. Does not keep one’s promises. Unstable. Lack of commitment to the words of one’s own mouth.

False Accusers: To deceive by lies. To lie for the purpose of destroying the character of another.

Incontinent: A want of a negative power; to be powerless against the lust of the mind. This disposition can be seen in the use of will power to control the actions of the flesh. Because the body is placed under restraint does not mean the mind is. Much of the sin of the saint is lived out in the imagination. To be incontinent is to be mentally and “spiritually impotent" in moral situations; unrestrained, "without self-control."

II Timothy 3:5

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I believe that this incontinent disposition is the greatest opposition to the Body of Christ. It is the spirit of wantonness and suppresses the expression of unlawful desires due to the knowledge of consequences. Such suppression is not deliverance because sin still lives in the heart. This was the message of Paul to the church at Rome.

Romans 1:18

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

These were people who knew the truth and knew the power of the gospel. However, they began to forsake the way of righteousness. Although they had been brought out of sin by the blood of Jesus, the memory of sin was rekindled by the failure to cast down every thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God.

To reject the truth will bring the world and saints to spiritual degradation. This can and will happen to some of us who have heard the truth, had at one time accepted it as “the truth," yet will turn away from pursuing the truth.

In the last days there will be those who “fall away” from the truth. They will go after the way of the world; therefore, they will fall prey to Satan and he will hold them captive at his own will. Why? Because Satan will find something that belongs to him in them.

Romans 1:19-32

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The above is the destiny of the race of man if he continues to reject the truth. Paul does a good job of describing saints who turn back from the way of holiness to worship the creature (their own bodies) more than the Creator. The end result is homosexuality, and this sodomite life style is the objective of the enemy for the human race.

It is the purpose of God that we be conformed to the image of His son Jesus Christ to personify truth, righteousness and faith toward God. This image of Christ reveals the true nature of God the Father and births hope for a better day. It ministers an entrance into true love and peace in the Holy Ghost.

The purpose of the enemy is to pervert the creation of God, and homosexuality is Satan’s attempt to tamper with the order of God. Every day more and more people are choosing what they believe to be a homosexual life, but what they are choosing is captivity. The world has glamorized the sodomite, but the Word has condemned him to the pit.

The Church must wake up and begin to deal with this issue. The youth are being turned on to this demon from Satan.

In this captivity is the embodiment of total perversion. The sexual act itself is the elimination of the seed of life. These mindsets birth lying emotions and spiritual retardation. The coming together of men with men or women with women is the forming of another creature alien to the creation of God.

Eve was taken out of Adam and from Adam emotions, desires, abilities and resources that originally belonged to him were formed in her. Adam also became the supply of strength, direction and stability for Eve. Therefore, marriage between a man and a woman reunites those things taken out of the man in the personage of the woman and thus bring them into a oneness of body, soul and purpose.

In homosexuality this reuniting into a oneness of body, soul and purpose cannot take place. There can be nothing but death in such a union: death of purpose, emotional stability and social progression. Homosexuality is the spirit of anti-christ manifested to its fullest potential in the human race. But now the Spirit of Truth has come to expose “The Lie.”

Even if you only live this sin in your imagination, God calls it an abomination. Those who worship God must worship Him in spirit and in truth. When the imagination of the soul is full of evil thoughts, it robs God of the praise and worship that must come from within. It is a complete defilement of the temple of God. It is the abomination that makes the soul desolate.

Beloved, stay in the Word. It is the only hope of escape from the pollutions of this world. Give yourself to it. Stop saying this will never happen to you. Most of the saints who are now caught in the snare of the devil never expected to be snared. Do not be presumptuous. Pray continuously and ask the Lord to protect you from the evil.
