The First and Second Creation

Ephesians 5:28-32

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord

the Church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the Church.

It was God’s intent from the beginning that the mystery of Christ is revealed through marriage. The Old Testament was given to us to point us to Christ. It was a type and shadow of that which was to be manifested by Christ later in time. We have already established the fact that Adam was made in the image and likeness of Jesus, so then what is the relevance of Eve? Let us consider the Father brought her into existence.

Genesis 2:18

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help

meet for him.

Genesis 2:21-24

21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

God is an awesome God. It is very important to note here that the creation of Eve was not the same as the creation of Adam. Adam’s body was made from the dust of the earth, however the woman was formed from his rib. Everything it took to create Eve had come out of Adam. Therefore the very flesh and bone

she had was that of Adam. In fact, one could say that Eve was dwelling in the side of Adam as a rib, and her manifestation was after he was put to sleep. She was totally of his bone and his flesh. Adam understood this, and named her woman because she had been taken out of him.

Genesis 5:1-2

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

God called both of them Adam, because they were one. So then if Adam was made in the image of Christ, where does Eve come into play with this type and shadow? The Church is the bride that the Father has presented to Christ. Consider the following chart.

ADAM :

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept:

JESUS:

Just as Adam, was put to sleep so was Jesus, having been laden with the sins of the world; he gave up His life for 3 days and nights. It is critical to note that without His death, there could be no reconciliation by way of the atonement. This made it possible for the Church to be begotten of God.

ADAM:

and he took one of his ribs,

JESUS

Jesus was pierced in his side and out came the blood of redemption and the water of the word (John 19:34). However, Christ gave up the

Ghost. It is the Holy Ghost that each member of the body is placed in. Thus the Holy Ghost is to us, as the rib was to Eve.

ADAM:

and closed up the flesh instead thereof; (and was awoken)

JESUS:

We must remember that the body that was on the cross was emaciated and had now become a body of sins. However God sanctified his body to clean it from sin; making it fit for Jesus resurrection. Jesus was then resurrected and ascended on high to prepare a place for us in the Holy Ghost (John 14:2-3). His glory was now that of the lonely seed having accomplished that which is necessary to produce the Body of Christ (John 12:24) (1 Corinthians 15:37). Christ Jesus was now able to dwell inside the flesh of all who believed on him.

ADAM:

And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

JESUS:

At salvation we have put on the new man, which is this body with the Holy Ghost in it. We have been made new creatures and everything we

are is of Christ. Just as Eve is of Adam. Our bodies are the bodies of Christ, and our souls have been joined to Him. The Church is now presented to Jesus as a bride.

ADAM:

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

JESUS:

The Church is bone of Christ’s bone and flesh of His flesh (Ephesians 5:30). The body was quickened by the spirit in which we dwell. The life we live in the flesh is not us that live, but Christ that lives in us (Galatians 2:20). We are adopted in the beloved as children of the Father because

we were placed inside the Son, Jesus Christ.

ADAM:

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

JESUS:

They are not two but one flesh. Both Adam and Eve was referred to as Adam, likewise are we the body of Christ. We have taken on the image of God whose image is Christ in the flesh.

We are the bone of Christ’s bone and the flesh of His flesh; two have become one flesh. Bear in mind that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. However we have been placed into that image, and therefore we too are the image of God. Jesus therefore is now the first begotten; the first of many brethren. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven (1 Corinthians 15:47). The first man was made in the image and likeness, however the second man, Jesus is the image. All that Adam procreated was of the earth because they were of Adam, an earthy man. Therefore all that which is begotten of Jesus Christ are Lords from heaven. It follows, that the brethren that have been baptized into Christ have been baptized into the very image of God. Therefore if the world asks us, “where is the Father?” we can respond by saying “look on us.”

2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

AND THEN SPAKE THE LORD…

“My people have an issue with embracing the fact that my image is the new man, because they, like Israel, have found comfort in believing that I am distant. They have looked into my word and have seen its working in their lives. Thus, they have judged me righteous and perfect. They have known my character and seen that I am holy. They also know in their hearts that I will always remain the same, no matter where I am. To believe in my earthly image would be to obligate themselves to perfection and to agree that there is no room nor excuse for failure. It is to also agree that my power will remain the same in them.

The conclusion of their hearts is that, belief in my power is an unsafe and unfair risk. The knowledge that I am in the flesh places an obligation on them to believe on me as the scripture has said. This is where the Church has failed. They have searched themselves and have judged me powerless to make and keep them exactly as I am. They have also decided not to take on their responsibility to prove oneness to the world, lest I fail them. They refuse the risk of humiliation; not only from the world, but the humiliation they would bring to themselves.

The world uses a carnal mind in an attempt to define me. They seek to look beyond the flesh to see if there is some apparition or some other figure that they would equate to me. They look to the sun, the stars, and skies to attempt to define and relate to me. The Church has done the same. But my people must come to the fact that the image I have chosen for myself is the flesh – their flesh. The carnal mind is enmity against me; it is not subject to my word, neither can it discern me. But if my people open the eyes of their spirit, they will be able to comprehend my presence in them; and know that I am amongst them. They would know that I have shown myself plainly to them; and have been before them all along. I have revealed myself: I dwell in the bodies of my children. The new man is the manifestation of my kingdom. The new man is the throne of my earthly presence. The new man is the express image of my personage; and they have put Him on.

The solution to this is simple. I am God, I remain the same, and my word remains the same. The Witness I have placed in you has given you the knowledge that I am able to do all that I have testified of myself. I am able to keep those that trust me and I will not withhold my power from the prayers of the righteous. The solution is to believe and obey my word.”
