Apostle Mary Banks gives nine (9) points that addresses the church world’s concept of salvation and compares them to God’s perspective.

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

Salvation does not free individuals from sin.

GOD’S CONCEPT

Salvation removes the power of sin.

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

All mankind are considered children of God - because we are made in His image and have the breath of life within. This, however, is not literal sonship.

GOD’S CONCEPT

Salvation would give Him a family (sons, gods) by His procreation, reproduction and glorification. He would do so by His seed - the Holy Spirit.

We are all mere humans.

GOD’S CONCEPT

We are divine offspring (same being as God)

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

We have a lower nature of sin.

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

We have the Holy Spirit.

GOD’S CONCEPT

We have divine nature (sons of God have the sinless nature of God)

GOD’S CONCEPT

Salvation makes you one with the Holy Spirit (the soul is placed in the Spirit of God).

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

These bodies will always be bodies of sin and will eventually go back to the dust.

GOD’S CONCEPT

The Spirit of God dwells within these earthen bodies, which will one day be transformed into celestial bodies.

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

We are children of God, however still slaves to sin. We are not literal offspring of God.

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

Jesus rose from the dead alone.

GOD’S CONCEPT

Adoption - God slays those who seek Him to be saved and start afresh with them birthing them again with His seed. They become literal children of God.

GOD’S CONCEPT

Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection , plus His sending of the Holy Ghost, allowed Him to multiply.

CHURCH WORLD’S CONCEPT

The Holy Spirit lives within an individual but the sinful nature of the body remains the same.

GOD’S CONCEPT

The human body is sanctified at salvation. It is the holy temple of the Spirit of God.

POINT

The power of sin is removed at salvation.

God desired a family.

The sons of God are the divine offspring of God.

The sons of God have the divine nature of God.

If you rearrange the the points about salvation that are presented in your study guide using the sequence below, you will have the salvation plan illustrated. #2 - Before the world began, God desired a family [children], so He made a plan. #8 - The death burial and resurrection of Jesus is the plan of salvation. #3 - These children of His would be His divine offspring #4 - They would also have His nature #7 - However, we belonged to Satan - we would have to be adopted. #5 - He adopted us by birthing us again by His seed - in His Spirit - as His children. #9 - Being now His children we have been freed from the power of sin. #1 - This freedom came by the sanctification from the sin that was in the flesh. #6 - Now that we are saved, we must wait for our bodies to reflect that we are indeed children of God. One day they will be changed into celestial bodies.
