The word CONCEPT refers to a plan or intention. It is the idea that was originally conceived in the imagination.

There is an idea that many in the church have conceived in their imagination concerning salvation. However, this idea does not line up with the scriptures or God’s heart.

God’s true intent for salvation. (What did God have in mind when He decided to make the church and how does this differ from how we have seen things?)

What has the false concept of salvation caused?

The concept of salvation largely held by the church, is incomplete. Because of this, the church has come to premature conclusions which results in false perspectives of salvation.

These false perspectives evolve into false doctrines - where scriptures are misinterpreted and twisted in efforts to substantiate the doctrine. One such doctrine is the Grace Revolution taught by Joseph Prince and Creflo Dollar, which purports that no individual can be totally free from sin; therefore God does not send people to hell for sin. Rather, He pours out abundant grace which causes Him to ignore their sins.

What is the common concept of salvation?

The salvation or redemption plan has been limited to the fact that Jesus died and rose from the dead on the third day. He eventually sent the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of God within the believer. However, according to these doctrines, the Holy Spirit does nothing to eradicate man’s sin issue. As a result of this, the Holy Spirit has no other purpose but to console and forgive us when we sin.
