ACTIVITY BREAKDOWN SONG
God used Moses to warn Pharaoh before each plague, showing His power and giving Pharaoh time to repent. In the Book of Revelation, God sends warnings to the whole world through seven trumpets. While making the craft, say:

Main Idea: God gives warnings because He loves us and wants us to turn to Him.

"Can you pretend to hold a staff like Moses? Let’s hold it high in the air!"
God told Moses to go to Pharaoh and say, “Let my people go!” But Pharaoh didn’t listen.
Now, let’s jump to the future. In Revelation, angels blow trumpets as warnings, too! (Show angel blowing trumpet)
Just like God warned Pharaoh, He warns the world again. God’s warnings are never just to punish—they are to save and help us turn to Him.
Let’s say our memory verse together:

God turned the Nile River into blood to show Pharaoh that He is the true God. In Revelation, the second trumpet causes part of the sea to turn to blood, showing God's power again. This week, children will learn that God is powerful and in control of everything. Small, clear plastic cups Blue and red food coloring Water Droppers or pipettes Instructions:
Fill each cup with water.
Drop blue food coloring in and ask, “What color is it now?” Add red drops and say, “Watch what happens when God shows His power!”
Mix and discuss the story of the blood-red waters.
Group Game (5 minutes) – "floor is blood!"
Setup: Decide on an area that is a safe zone Play: Kids run to designated safe spots before “the water turns to blood.”
Talk Prompt: “When God turned the water red, it was a warning. God wants people to listen to Him. He is powerful!” Sensory Bin – Fill a bin with red rice or red slime. Hide ocean animals and ask kids to find them.
The First Plague – Water Turns to Blood (Exodus 7:14–24); The Second Trumpet – Sea Becomes Blood (Revelation 8:8–9)

"Let’s imagine we’re at a river. (Pretend to scoop water) What color is the water? Blue, right?"
One day, God told Moses to go to the river and stretch out his staff. (Hold up imaginary staff)
When Moses obeyed, something amazing and scary happened. The river turned red like blood! (Show the red river picture) Eww! Would you want to drink that? No way!
Now let’s fast forward to the book of Revelation. An angel blew the second trumpet, and a huge mountain fell into the sea. A third part of the sea turned to blood, and many sea creatures died. (Show sea picture)
God’s power is real. He was telling people, “Turn back to Me!” Let’s say our memory verse:

God sent many plagues to Egypt—frogs, lice, flies, and disease—to warn Pharaoh and show His power. In Revelation, God sends a star called Wormwood to turn water bitter as a warning to the earth. Even in judgment, God is calling people to turn to Him. This week, we learn that even in trial after trial, God wants hearts to turn to Him. Light blue construction paper or cardstock Safety scissors Brown crayons or markers Glue sticks Glitter or star stickers Pencil for tracing (optional)
1.Give each child a small sheet of light blue construction paper.
2. Help children draw a large water drop shape on the paper. 3.Cut Out the Water Drop
4. Have the children use brown crayons or markers to color the drop, 5.Add the Falling Star :
Sprinkle a little glitter at the top of the water drop to represent the “falling star” called Wormwood.
Alternatively, stick a star sticker at the top.
6. On the back of the drop, they can write:

SETUP: Play music. When music stops, call out one of the three words.

Main Idea: God sends warnings because He wants hearts to turn to Him.
TEACHER TALK:
Let’s look at what happened after the river turned to blood. First, God sent frogs everywhere! On beds, in bowls, and homes! (Show frog picture)
Then lice! (Itchy wiggle!) And then flies filled the land! Animals got sick. (Show picture of farm animals lying down) And boils came up on the people’s skin!
Why all these plagues? God wanted Pharaoh to let His people go— and to know God is powerful.
Now let’s jump to Revelation. A star called Wormwood fell and made the waters bitter. (Show illustration)
That’s another big warning. God is calling everyone to stop and turn to Him.
What can we learn? (allow for feedback)
God is patient and gives many chances. But we must listen when He speaks—even in hard times!

God sent hail on Egypt, but He kept His people safe. In Revelation, hail and fire fall to warn people to turn back to God. 1.Flip the bowl upside down to make a shelter 2.Glue cotton balls on top to look like hail.
3.connect the bowl to the letter sized paper using the 1x2 paper strip and some glue 4.Under the shelter, draw or paste cut outs of people with happy faces.
5.Add the memory verse: “God is our refuge and strength.” – Psalm 46:1 Build-a-Shelter – Use blocks to build safe spaces. “God protected His people under shelter during the hailstorm.”
The Plague of Hail (Exodus 9:13–26); The First Trumpet (Revelation 8:7) Main Idea: God protects His people when they trust and obey Him. "Let’s imagine it’s raining, but not just rain—giant pieces of ice fall from the sky! (Pretend to shiver and duck)"
That’s what happened when Moses told Pharaoh to let God’s people go—and Pharaoh said no. God sent hail and fire from the sky. It was dangerous! (Show hailstorm picture)
But guess what? God told His people to go inside and stay safe. And they obeyed. When the hailstorm came, they were protected. (Show picture of people in shelter)
In Revelation, the first trumpet blew and hail and fire fell on the earth again. God was warning people: “Come back to Me before it’s too late!” Let’s say our memory verse:

Setup: One side of the room is “Egypt,” the other is “God’s Shelter.” Play: Kids dash from one side to the other when you say “Hailstorm!” Talk Prompt: “Only those who listened and obeyed were protected. God always makes a way to keep us safe.”

God sent a swarm of locusts to Egypt because Pharaoh would not listen. In Revelation, locust-like creatures come again as a warning. This week, children will learn that God is the only one with true power, and we should fear and respect Him.
Green construction paper or cardstock Scissors (child-safe)
Glue stick or tape Googly eyes or black marker Pipe cleaners or paper strips for legs (optional)
How to Make a Paper Grasshopper
1.Body: Cut a green rectangle, Roll into a tube and glue the ends. 2.Head: Cut an oval/round shape, glue to one end of the tube. Add eyes and a face.
3.Legs: Cut 6 thin strips or use pipe cleaners. Fold into “V” shapes and attach 3 per side.
4.Back Legs (Optional): Use 2 longer strips for big back legs. Attach near the end of the body.
5.Antennae: Cut 2 skinny strips, curl the ends, and glue to the top of the head.
6.Display or Hop Around! Set up a "grass field" with green shredded paper or let the kids "hop" their grasshoppers around the classroom!
One child is “Pharaoh,” others are “Locusts.”
Play: Say “God says let them go!” The locusts chase Pharaoh
Main Idea: Only God has the power to command nature and protect His people.
Scripture: The Plague of Locusts (Exodus 10:12–20); The Fifth Trumpet (Revelation 9:1–11)
Have you ever seen a bug flying around your house? Imagine a whole cloud of bugs covering everything!
That’s what happened when God sent Moses to Pharaoh ag ain. God said, “Let My people go.” But Pharaoh still said, “No!” So God sent locusts. (Show picture of the swarm) They flew in and ate all the green plants. Pharaoh couldn’t stop them; he had no power! But God’s people, who obeyed Him, were kept safe. The locusts didn’t touch them. (Show picture of God’s people protected) In Revelation, a trumpet will blow and strange locusts will come again. God will make sure they don’t hurt the ones who believe in Jesus.
Let’s say our memory verse together:

When Pharaoh said “No” again, God sent darkness over Egypt—so dark no one could see! But God’s people still had light. In Revelation, darkness will affect ⅓ of the sun, moon, and stars, but God always protects those who belong to Him. This week, children will learn that even though there will be darkness, God’s light lasts forever. Small clear plastic cups or jars Tissue (one roll for the whole class)
Glue and paintbrushes LED tea lights or flashlight sticker Activity: Create a beautiful lantern craft to remind us that God is our light, even in darkness.
- Paint the jar with glue.
- Tear up tissue
- Press torn tissue paper pieces onto the jar.
4.Place a light source inside/ let them take turn with a light source among themselves 5.Once it’s dry, they can label the jar with the memory verse and decorate it as they please
Main Idea: God protects those who love Him and follow His ways. Let’s close our eyes. Can you see anything? It’s very dark, right? Open them again. Today’s Bible story is about a time when the whole land of Egypt went DARK. (Show picture of darkness) Pharaoh said “No” to God again, so God sent darkness so deep that people couldn’t move!
But not everyone was stuck in the dark. Do you know who had light? (Point to children) GOD’S PEOPLE!
(Show picture of Israelites in light) God protected them and gave them light in their homes.
In Revelation, when the 4th trumpet sounds, the sun, moon and stars will get darker (use a light source and begin to slowly cover the light ). The world will be darker, but those who love God are safe in His light. Where is God’s Light?
Let’s say our verse together:
📖 “ I am the light of the world: whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12 Can you hold your hands like a flashlight? Say it again while you “shine”:

When God sent the final plague in Egypt, He told His people to put lamb’s blood on their doors. This was a sign that they trusted Him, and He protected them from death in the land. Today, Jesus is our perfect Lamb. When we believe in His blood and what He did on the cross, and allow him to live in our hearts, God protects us from judgment. God’s protection plan is sending Jesus to be our life!
2 Construction Papers (white & Brown Red paint and markers Lamb stickers or cotton balls Glue stick or tape Scissors (adult-supervised)
Brass fasteners OR glue for a paper hinge Door Craft – “I Believe!”
1.Give each child a large sheet of paper for the house background. 2.Hand out a smaller paper door (pre-cut or let them cut it). 3.Color or paint red across the top of the door (for the lamb’s blood). 4.Glue or fasten one side of the door to the background so it swings open.
5.Behind the door, make a sign saying “I believe!”
6.Add a lamb sticker or cotton ball with drawn on legs 7.Decorate around the door to look like a home.
8.Optional: Add a Bible verse – Exodus 12:13
Main Idea: God saves those who believe in the blood of Jesus! The Blood on the Doorposts – Exodus 12:1 30 The Blood of Jesus Saves Us – Revelation 12:10 Once upon a time, in Egypt, God told His people that a very serious night was coming. People were going to die.
But He had a plan! He told them to take a lamb, kill it, and put its blood on their doorpost. (Show picture)
That night, the angel passed over every house that had blood on the door. Nobody inside those houses got hurt.
Let’s say it together:
“God protected them because they believed.”
Years later, Jesus came. (Show picture of Jesus on the cross) He was the perfect Lamb, and he died on the cross to free us from sin. When we believe in Jesus’ blood, we are protected from the wrath of God— forever!
Let’s whisper this together:
“I believe in Jesus.”
The Israelites had to believe God’s words to be saved. Today, we must believe in Jesus to be saved. His blood is like the blood on the door. When we believe in Him, God sees our hearts and keeps us safe from sin.

Death is real and it makes us sad. But for those who believe in Jesus, death is not the end. In the Old Testament, Egypt experienced the loss of many lives. In Revelation, we learn that many will also die because what will happen on the earth. But God offers life that never ends to those who believe in His Son. This week, we help children understand that even though death is painful, joy will come for those who trust in Jesus! 1 paper plate (or round cardstock)
Blue and yellow crayons, \markers,] or paint Scissors Jumbo craft stick or popsicle stick Glue or tape Black marker (for face details)
Optional: yarn, googly eyes, stickers Sad/Happy Mask Craft Theme: Even when we face sadness or death, we have hope and joy through Jesus!
Color one side blue to represent sadness (can add tears, frown, sad eyes).
Color the other side yellow for joy and hope (add a big smile and bright eyes).
Use black marker to draw face features on both sides. Glue or tape a craft stick to the bottom so the child can hold the mask.
(Optional) Add yarn for hair, googly eyes, or stickers to personalize.
Main Idea: Death is sad, but Jesus gives forever life to those who believe.
10th Plague – Death of the Firstborn (Exodus 11:1–10; 12:29–30) 6th Trumpet – A Third of Mankind Killed (Revelation 9:13–21) In Egypt, God warned Pharaoh many times. But Pharaoh wouldn’t listen. One night, something very sad happened. The oldest child in every Egyptian family died. People cried and were very, very sad. But God had also made a way for His people to be safe. And even though that night was sad, God brought joy to His people the next day. He brought them out of Egypt to freedom!
(Show the toy trumpet and picture of heaven) In Revelation, a trumpet sounds again. It’s the 6th trumpet. Many people still don’t listen to God, and many die. It’s very serious and very sad. But God tells us these things so we will believe in Jesus.
Did you know that there can be life even after death? Do you remember who died and rose again?
Jesus gives us life that never ends. He promised that anyone who believes in Him will live forever—even if they die on earth. Let’s say our big truth together: "Death is sad, but joy will come!"

Dear Jesus, Thank You for loving us.
We know death is sad, but You give us joy and forever life. Help us believe in You and share Your love with others. In Your Name, Amen.

After many warnings, Pharaoh still wouldn’t listen. God sent the final plague, and His people were finally set free! In Revelation, the seventh trumpet sounds and announces that Jesus will reign forever! This week, children will learn that God has a plan to rescue His people and bring us into His Kingdom.
Gold/yellow cardstock Jewel stickers or shiny foil pieces Glue sticks and crayons Memory verse label: Revelation 11:15 Activity: Create your own crown of victory Cut two long strips from cardstock and tape them together to make one crown band.
Trim the top edge into points or arches (optional). Attach the memory verse label to the front of the crown. Decorate with crayons, jewel stickers, or shiny foil. Wrap around the child’s head and tape or glue to fit.
Bible Story: The Final Plague & Exodus (Exodus 11:1–10; 12:29–42);
Seventh Trumpet (Revelation 11:15–19)
Do you remember all the plagues God sent? Did Pharaoh say yes? (Shake head) No! But finally, after the saddest plague, Pharaoh said:
“Go!”
God’s people packed up and left in a hurry. (Show picture of Israelites leaving) They were FREE! Can you cheer? “We’re FREE!” But God didn’t just rescue them to wander—He was taking them to a Promised Land!
In the book of Revelation, the seventh trumpet sounds (hold up picture of trumpet), and something amazing is announced… Say this memory verse with me:
📖 “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah.” – Revelation 11:15 That means God is the King forever—and Jesus will reign with love and truth!
God rescued His people from Egypt. Now He rescues us through Jesus and brings us into His forever Kingdom!
Play music and lead a march around the room. One child is Moses, others are Israelites.
Pretend to leave Egypt together. Add shouts of praise: “God rescued us!”
“God rescued His people from Egypt—and He rescues us from sin through Jesus!”
“Dear God, Thank You for rescuing Your people.

When Pharaoh chased God’s people, they were afraid, but God split the Red Sea and saved them! In Revelation, when the 7th trumpet sounds, Jesus gathers all who belong to Him and takes them to be with Him forever. God always saves those who trust Him, in the past, and in the future!
1 sheet of blue construction paper 1 strip of brown paper (dry land path)
2–3 wooden clothespins (to represent people)
Markers
Cotton balls 1 small gold or white circle Glue stick or tape Activity: Create the scene of the great rescue
1. Fold the blue paper in half vertically, then unfold to create the “split sea.”
2.Glue a brown strip down the middle to represent dry land. 3.Draw faces on clothespins to make people. Let each child design 2–3.
4.Stand the clothespins upright on the brown strip (you can glue or tape them down lightly).
5.Glue cotton balls to the top part of the page to make fluffy clouds. 6.Add a small gold or white circle on a cloud to represent Jesus, returning in the clouds.
7.Write the caption: “God always rescues those who trust Him!”
This week’s lesson shows how God protects and saves His people, even when it looks impossible.
Exodus: Israel Crosses the Red Sea (Exodus 14:15–31) Revelation: The Saints Are Gathered at the 7th Trumpet (Revelation 14:12–16)

The people of Israel were trapped! Pharaoh’s army was coming fast, and there was a sea in front of them. But God told Moses to stretch out his staff. And guess what? The sea opened! God’s people walked right through on dry ground. God saved them!

Now let’s look ahead in the Bible — way at the end. The Bible says Jesus will come in the clouds. A trumpet will sound, and He will gather His people from every place.
God will rescue His children again — not through water, but from the troubles of the earth to be with Him forever in heaven! Let’s say it together:
God saves His people!
Dear God, Thank You for always making a way.
You saved Your people at the Red Sea.
And You will save us again when Jesus comes!
Help us trust You now and forever.

After God rescued the Israelites at the Red Sea, they sang songs and danced in celebration. In Revelation, when the seventh trumpet sounds, the sons of God worship because Jesus is crowned as King forever. This week, children will learn that worship is our joyful response to who God is and what He has done.

Activity: Kids will create colorful wands to wave during worship time. 1.Help each child tape or glue ribbons to a dowel or straw.
3.Decorate with stickers and colors.
5.Tape on the “I Worship Jesus!” label.
7.Use them to wave during worship time or in a mini “praise parade” around the room!
Heaven and earth rejoice and worship God (Revelation 15: 2-4; Exodus 15:1 - 21)
Last week, we saw how God opened the Red Sea and rescued His people. Do you remember what they did next? (Let kids respond) That’s right! They celebrated!

Through a ll our lessons we’ve seen how God moved with power— from the plagues in Egypt to the trumpets in Revelation. God always warns, protects, and saves those who trust Him. Today, we remember: Jesus gives us new life that never ends. W can choose to follow Jesus and live forever with Him.
